Revolution Glasgow - Renfield Street in Glasgow City

I popped in one Tuesday for about 45 mins and I was the only customer. Nice and helpful guy on the bar looked after me. Music was good and loud.

There advertising outside is fake and misleading, the drink menu is half the Price on the outside.

Misleading, they advertise the 6£ cocktails but told us that is not available on Friday, even tho we had download the app, meanwhile in the bathroom say “all day everyday with the app” not worth it

The bar was cool. We enjoyed our afternoon there and will definitely go back on our next trip.

Had possibly one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a revolution Establishment. Coming from Aberdeen where the food and drinks in like revolution are always of good quality, the whole family were left disappointed and hungry after waiting an hour and half for our food to arrive only for it to be look warm, burnt, and just straight up inedible. We ordered strawberry daiquiris also which came bland and basically like crushed ice a glass, other customer at a table across from Us had nice looking frozen cocktails and when asked it was also strawberry daiquiris however they looked extremely different to what we had received. Thankfully the only saving grace from our visit was the manager Rachel, who ensured we were looked after and offered her apologies for the whole ordeal.

Rachel is amazing and a brilliant hostess give her a payrise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 staff serving. Although clearly making drinks for the 6 people that were actually there, they never even acknowledged our presence. Tending bar is a skill, like any job done well. A simple "be with you shortly" is all it takes. We walked out. When it eventually closes, I hope the two bar staff find another career where they don't have to deal with the public.

Popped in yesterday with a colleague for a quick lunch. Food was very tasty, great value for the Meal Deal price. It was very quiet, but a nice chilled atmosphere. Fantastic service from the lovely girl working yesterday! We'll definitely be back.

Kier was really friendly and a great asset.

The cocktails were fantastic but I would recommend eating before going the pizza looks great but the burger all you get is a burger. But over all had a brilliant time :)

We all upgraded an extra £10 for our cocktail masterclass .. no welcome glass of prosecco was given, 11 of us were crammed into the end of the bar. Far too noisy to here what our bartender was trying to explain, food was very mediocre for the price we paid. Only good thing was our bartender and the shot at the end of the class

Rubbish!!!! Just looked 3 women, in a Tuesday (the place was almost empty) having fun and judged that we were drunk!!???? And didn't sell anything because, someone thought we were drunk????? What kind of bar pub is this?? Totally unhappy with this place!!! Staff totally unprepared!! 0 stars

Great food and drink. Really excellent in both of these aspects. A bit busy bit but vibrant. Only real problem here here was service. Was really slow. Did go to bar to see what was happening and did get free shots for such a long wait. Will definitely go back though.

absolutely amazing been here on busy weekends and on week days came in one day last week and had a bartender called fred and he was so helpful and helped me choose the perfect cocktail for me will be here again

Heavily underpoured watered down drinks and not value for money. Service was good and so was atmosphere but you can easily tell they are totally aiming for gross profit when it comes to drinks. Cocktails definitely don't have 100% the correct ratio. Came out more sober than we went in after 4 drinks.

Went during midweek and had place practically to ourselves despite the half price cocktails on offer. All were delicious and way too easy to drink.

First time in bar for a late lunch. Service and food was exceptional 10/10 staff couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be back

Overpriced, barstaff constantly got orders wrong. Instead of trying to be trendy, maybe focus on staff training. No ice is not really a complicated order. Update ... Thought I was harsh ( after a catty reply on here by management). I tried again tonight, ordered single malt, voodoo, n Jack. Didn't mind coke in the voodoo or the Jack, but seriously, who puts coke in a malt??? I stand by my original review.

Popped in for a few cocktails 🍸 beautifully done place, cocktails were delicious, only downside was the mint in the mojito was off, and black. Not nice at all. Also the roulette shots were great 👍

Nice, kind of cocktail bar. Staff friendly. Only one malt whisky available in Scotland !!! What's that about? Said they were owned by an English company. Clearly a company that's blind to its local market.

Charged £30 for booking that was cancelled just a 3 hours later.

We had a table booked for 10pm and we left at 10:05pm. We waited 30 mins for our table as we finished dinner early and decided to head over for drinks early at the bar. Only reason for the two stars is that once we finally sat at our table, there was a group of creepy old men sat across from us that kept staring at us. We tried to ignore it as we took some selfies, but one of the men in particular kept starring and eventually tried to grab my friends coat off her chair. He claimed he was looking for his coat as he thought he left it, but the table was empty beforehand so I did not believe that at all. He kept staring and not saying anything it it really creeped us out. The DJ even left to go get the bouncers where I was then questioned if we had a table booked. I assume this is just a standard question and don’t blame the bouncer at all. It just felt very accusatory. My friends left 5 mins into our booking and I followed them as we all felt uncomfortable to be sat next to them. I wish that staff had been more comforting or reassuring in this situation as no one made us feel welcome or did anything about the creepy men. We did leave though, so maybe something happened about it after we left, although it didn’t feel as if anything would be done. This happened on the 28th on January.

We had booked Revolution on Renfield St for a cocktail masterclass for my sister hen weekend for 13 of us. What a night! Kiki was amazing!!! We had so much fun with her and her cocktails were out of this world! She is a complete gem. Highly recommend!

I never leave bad reviews but the toilets are a health and safety. The toilets are absolutely disgraceful! Detached toilet seat sitting on the boxed in sanitary wear, flush not working, door locks not working, thick black dirt on floors, patch work repair jobs everywhere, black mould on the walls (giving these are tiled walls just shows the tiles haven’t even been wiped down - in a long time), sinks and mirrors dirty, hand dryers give out one burst of air then stop, horrible damp smell… the list goes on. I hate to see what the kitchen is like giving that is behind the scenes..

Absolutely fantastic experience. Went in for a brunch so had fried chicken & waffles and found my favourite cocktail ever. The flat white espresso martini. Was served by a handsome gentlemen Elliot and it was super service the entire time. Truly best place in the toon!!

Worst meal we've ever had in Glasgow. Not sure what the potato wedges were cooked in but it wasn't pleasant. No table service, all food/drinks have to ordered at the bar and there are not enough staff to serve people. Do not confuse this restaurant with the restaurant on Mitchell Street and its sister restaurant on Renfield Street on the opposite side of the road - you'll be disappointed.

Cocktails deal nights the charm in this place, unsweeten them with few pints in between
