Fantastic pub with an authentic local feel. It’s cosy in the winter with events such as Carol singing organised by the local church, in the summer there’s access to the garden which makes it a fantastic space to relax. It’s also an excellent venue for events. My husband and I had our wedding party there. We couldn’t ask for better service and hospitality. Excellent food, very accommodating staff. We rented the glass house and really enjoyed having access to the garden as well! We’d definitely recommend the pub for marriage celebrations, anniversaries or birthdays!!

Great pizza, very little grease and quality ingredients

PERSONAL FAULT. We sat on the terrace to have a beer. It took them a long time to serve us and the poor girls had to run to serve the tables. You could really see the fatigue on his face. HIRE STAFF, rats.

Ordered food at 1.30pm and everything was stale and tasted days old. Not cheap either, definitely not worth the price. Morrisons cafe will do you better than here.

Went for lunch as their new outside area, no licence, though the waiter didn't know this and had to go and ask if they could serve alcoholic drinks. Outdoor area is prety naff, fake grass, cheap pub style tables, great situation. Food was awful burger was two small dried up overcooked burgers, not even as good as a MacDonalds burger. Keep going to this place in the hope that they might work out how to produce decent food but disappointed every time

Coffee is okay. Stuff is friendly. furnishings are worn out. The toilet is dirty, even though a service check took place right in front of me.

4 of us visited for lunch. Nice inside. Friendly staff. Good menu but expensive! Small portions! Cheap chicken too! But it is Edinburgh! Probably won't visit again. Was still hungry when we left.

Visited Prezzo due brief visit in Edinburgh. It looked really great on the photos so decided to give it a go. We turned up in restaurant on time and waited 5 minutes to be welcomed as front of the house keep disappearing to sort someone else out. We have been seated at the small table, when having booth booked online. The atmosphere overall was really loud and we just felt ignored, on the couple of occasions we had to stand up and go to the bar to ask for service such as drinks. The only good experience during our visit was food. Really delicious and well made. We’re disappointed with our visit and hoped to have better time.

I booked this hotel online, choosing it over my usual stay nearby due to its attractive price. The room was perfect—bright with large windows in both the bedroom and bathroom, allowing plenty of natural light and fresh air. The bed was comfortable, the room clean and quiet, with a nice view. The bathroom had plenty of hot water. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I will definitely return. Thank you.

I recommend it for a quick stop

Fuimos clientes muy regulares durante 30 años. Le hemos dado al restaurante algunas oportunidades desde el cambio de propietario que han sido decepcionantes, pero esta noche fue la última vez. Pedimos comida para llevar, que incluía ‘Chicken Mushroom’. Lo comprobamos dos veces por teléfono preguntando «¿no hay tuercas en nada de lo que hemos pedido?». Nos dijeron ‘no locos’. El plato de setas de pollo era para la persona con alergia a las nueces. Han probado este plato muchas veces durante muchos años. No teníamos razón para ser cautelosos. Rápidamente nos dimos cuenta de que el plato contenía anacardos. Demasiado tarde. La persona con alergia a los frutos secos había comido un anacardo. Luego pasamos varias horas ansiosos esperando que estuvieran bien. Llamamos al restaurante para decirles lo que había pasado. Se disculparon y dijeron que el error debe haberse cometido en la cocina. Definitivamente nos habían dado pollo con nueces de anacardo que está debajo de pollo y hongos en el menú. Esto no fue un anacardo pícaro en el plato equivocado. ¡Este fue el plato equivocado lleno de nueces! Si el error se cometió cuando se pasó el pedido a la cocina o el error se cometió en la cocina. Es simplemente inaceptable y el propietario debe tomar medidas para garantizar que esto nunca vuelva a suceder. Nunca volveremos en el restaurante y nunca pediremos comida para llevar - fuera. Es un triste final para una relación de larga data, pero The Loon Fung ya no es The Loon Fung de antaño.

The internet connection which is for Cineworld doesn’t work properly and every 5 minutes it disconnects !

BK website claims this site is open but it is in fact a construction site and has been for a while.

Made an order on JustEat, and they cancelled it saying they were closed. I made the order at 2pm on a Saturday, and the opening times say you're open to 9:30pm.
