Food was awful, bland, no taste and didn't feel like a full meal. No side salad. When i complained, I was told because I ate chips and almost half the burger, they were unable to refund me and told me to go through their website. The other party in the group had breakfast and the bacon and blackpudding were like charcoal.
Weatherspoons used to be a good place to go to get a decent meal. Awful and will not be a customer going forward. Cheap crap.
Me and my partner fancied a nice chippy with a view and we had seen that this was meant to be the best in the queensferry area so we made the 40 minute drive here, we ended up arriving to the place completely closed. Nothing has been said on the Facebook about it being shut and couldn’t see any other info anywhere else. We arrived at around 5pm and it’s a Tuesday so we definitely arrived within advertised opening times. Luckily another chippy in the area was open so we went there instead and it wasn’t a completely wasted trip but wanted to warn others incase they have the same happen.

Spent £45 on a takeaway. One dish was wrong , one dish missing, one is basically potatoes and pineapple in a bland sauce. Called to complain and man shouted abuse down phone and hung up. Disgusting behaviour and bad food. Save your money and avoid this shop.
Called here for the rugby match midday. Seating area was untidy and very cramped. You had to get a code for the toilet which frustrated other customers. Wont be going here again.

Poor customer service, no one in front of me. It takes long time to order an Iced latte, most of restaurants and coffee shops in Edinburgh, I felt, they don’t look after tourists.
Small cafe with friendly staff. Good coffee and had an amazing bacon and cheese croissant. Worth a visit for some takeaway coffee or if you can manage to get a seat and people watch
Let me preface this by saying that we did have an okay time at this establishment. We were greeted and seated quickly, told there was table service and the server checked in on us fairly quickly. After his shift ended, it kind of all changed for the worse. There was not a lot of people there, and quite a lot of servers, however it almost seemed like our table was avoided. While the wife went off to do a bit of shopping I figured I could have a drink and enjoy a bit of sun on a day where the forecast said rain. After finishing my drink, my empty glass was on the table for 40 minutes without anyone coming by even though they passed by frequently. I finally flagged someone down from a group of servers having a conversation, and I got a new drink. After this happening a couple more times, we decided to move on. Getting the check was also basically the same thing, a group of servers having a conversation so I went up to them. Most of them didn't even react when I asked for the check, but one very nice lady helped me out.
Really hope this changes as I enjoyed the location, music and selection.
