The food was served quickly and was cooked fresh. Owner said the pizza sauce is all home made and so is the kebab meat….which you could tell. Was delicious 😋

Kiosk located within Waitrose supermarket. Have bought Sushi here quite a few times. It is very convenient and has a decent selection

We'd walked past this PE several times during our trip to Edinburgh and it always looked pleasant and cosy. It's in a very convenient location in the Old Town although the area is sadly covered with scaffolding at the moment. It wasn't too busy when we arrived, perhaps half-full at best. Seating was pleasant despite the scaffolding, as it was evening anyway. Staff were very pleasant and the food was nice as you'd expect of PE. The whole experience was perhaps somewhat longer than it should have been, however - nearly 90 minutes for three courses. It's unclear whether this delay was about the kitchen or the staff, but the staff seemed busy constantly even though there were 4-5 of them at least. We weren't in a big rush but felt that more of our evening had been taken up by the meal that we might have wanted, and of course being PE it isn't especially cheap - around £120 - so more than twice what we might have paid for pizza in, say, a Wetherspoons for instance. But this is fine, I think though that perhaps an additional staff member would have been ideal.

There must be few people cooking at their place because sometimes the same number comes delicious and other time barely satisfying. Overall very expensive. Udon prawns £8.50 and it was the worse batch I ever tried from them. Mushrooms with sauce. Fluffy and oily batter with raw mushrooms inside and the sauce, one of the gooeiest and not tasty at all. I need to change that place to somewhere else.

We spontaneously decided on the pub and would definitely come back. Were there on Thursday evening and there was live music, which we really enjoyed. Cider was great nothing wrong with it

Busy, warm and nice inside. Only lost a star because we kept getting distracted by the insane amount of TVs and because we weren't 100% into the music choices which were mainstream pop songs but from 15 years ago. Also, no toilet roll but that's normal.

Booked a table originally for Friday, got a message to let us know they had a problem and couldn't serve food. Glad we rearranged for the next night. Food great, photos don't do it justice, great service and only disappointment was we didn't stay longer (long day after all the excitement of the rugby!) to enjoy the atmosphere 😃

Made an order on JustEat, and they cancelled it saying they were closed. I made the order at 2pm on a Saturday, and the opening times say you're open to 9:30pm.

Very poor hygiene, tables were filthy, no one taking responsibility for the mess. Food was ok but not a pleasant environment in which to eat.

What an unfortunate visit. Previously been happy but on this occasion we did not enjoy our meal and we felt unwell a day or two after, we will be wary about having the fish and chips in there again. The manager however did not charged us as we did complain about the soggy fish

This was an unexpected stop in the middle of the day for lunch before family flew off from Edinburgh Airport. It was an unexpected find but a welcome one. The place is a bit tasty round the edges but it looked like it worked hard for it's money and the staff were very welcoming. Adorned with electric guitars on one side and football shirts on the other it seemed to be having an identity crisis but this makes for interesting conversation while waiting for your dinner. The menu is an extensive list of standard pub fare. The steak pie was on a par with other pubs who all seem to opt for the paper top Bookers pastry top while I'm told the faijtas were excellent. Toilets need a look at however with three in the ladies locked and the fourth blocked. We had to resort to using the disabled so not the best there. Lots of parking and handy for the airport.
