Last night we ordered and handed over £50 note to pay the £47 bill. Fortunately for us the delivery driver was very honest and informed us that there was actually 2 £50 notes were stuck together.. Also excellent food.

Very poor to say the least came recommended but sadly I won't use it anymore

10/10 Chinese always order from there never been disappointed and if you get delivery the guys always come really fast and straight to your door also the lady serving is so lovely and helpful

Used to love the Kung Po chicken absolutely disgusting cashew nuts not fresh peppers and sweetcorn slimy fried rice rubbish prises have went up quality and quantity reduced no be back

Awful Chinese food.. salt and pepper chicken was awful very stringy and seemed raw to me salt pepper chips awful too no flavour and stale ... noodles and curry sauce was ok the only thing I could eat the rest went in the bin 17 quid wasted!!!

Heard had a new owner a few months ago and thought would try. It was delicious. Had chicken wings, roast duck in peking sauce, boiled rice and sweet and sour chicken balls. Duck was really tender. Pleasantly surprised.

Tasty chicken soup and special rice is special. I enjoyed many a take aways from nine dragons and never look at down. Delivery time also good.

Excellent portions are huge biggest iv had served in like a big bowl I have to half mines and omg there lovely very fast delivery and can tell made as soon as u order iv been in and seen

Horrible, inedible food. Would have given no stars if I could have. Waited an hour for the food to be delivered before calling. Was told 10 mins and eventually arrive 30 mins later. Food was cold and chicken was raw!

Poor quality, looked like it had been sat on the side then re cooked. Cans of drink charged but not delivered

Excellent take away. Food is perfect and very tasty. It does deliveries, call and collect and go on and order. I cannot praise this take away highly enough

We have been looking for a good Chinese since relocating to the city in the summer and have been struggling. Other locations we have tried have been ok/average but not great and didn't give that satisfying feeling when you've had a good Chinese meal. I was really starting to loose hope but then last night we tried Nine Dragons and my faith was restored. We will definitely be back and I think I've found my go to Chinese takeaway.

I think this place has a new owner that obviously really knows what he’s doing. Been going here for years and although it’s been great in the past, over the last 3 months or so the food has went into the stratosphere, ordered single meals and ordered for house parties and every time the whole house agrees the food is fantastic. Customer for life.

Ordered the famous munchy box (salt n peper starter mix) and it was massive, with spring rolls, rib, chicken wings, balls, chips..... Best taste in town. Delivery was fast and contact free if you pay by card. Absolutely recommended.

Realmente disfruto la comida de esta comida para llevar. Es consistentemente bueno, la carne de res nunca es masticable, el personal es extremadamente servicial, siempre a tiempo o temprano y siempre llega caliente. He pedido comida de tantas comidas para llevar locales, desde el cierre, que han sido extremadamente decepcionantes, así que estoy muy feliz de haber encontrado esta.

este es el mejor chino en Leith y sus alrededores, las albóndigas solas son increíbles, el pollo con miel y chile es delicioso y también nos encantan las papas fritas con sal y chile. ¡darle una oportunidad!

This takeway shop seems change to the new owner.tried to order traditonal curry beef and S&S chicken from them,was quite impressed, That is probabaly the best curry dish I ever had in Edinburgh. also the service is super friendly . for sure will back again.

This place is hit or miss. Got my order wrong again tonight. Took ages.Delivery driver didn't have change and messed around so long I just gave up. Hmm not suspicious at all. Wont be going back.

Ordered on Christmas and received the worst possible portion chicken was minging and solid bairn couldn't even chew threw it disgrace!!

Asked for delivery yesterday usually qoite num of dish but a very rude person did not.go by them I named.each dish but when I asked for rice with. Sweet and sour sauce they got really got a bit irate asking what I meant this is on menu so did not see problem they got a bit loud in there tone to me so I just cancelled order will not phone here again

Usamos regularmente esta comida china para llevar, los precios son razonables y la comida siempre sabe fresca. Incluso con la entrega llega muy caliente como si acabara de cocinarse. . particularmente como el arroz frito con pollo, tiene un sabor agradable y nunca es demasiado seco. .

Worst customer service in edinburgh. If they got your order wrong or forget to deliver something they will just argue with you and hang up without an apology. The lady on the phone is an angry Chinese woman who needs to learn some manners. Also if you call a customer to complain about the type of order and insult that said customer you should go and dip your head in a deep fryer. Never again

I ordered a munchy box and it was disgusting everything was thrown into the deep fryer couldn't tell what food was what never again waist off money ☹☹☹

Ordered food online today. One of the most horrible and tasteless chicken fried rice I have ever eaten and the chicken appetizer was raw. I recommend to never order from this place ever.

Omg ordered chicken fried rice and chicken balls and was disgusting. The chicken in the fried rice was tough and tastes funny like it had been reheated allot. The chicken in the chicken balls was just as bad, the rice was mushy and tasted funny also. Couldn't eat any of it apart from the chips. Defo,defo will never order from here again and wouldnt recommened it.

Love this Chinese and I try alot of different ones but this one in my opinion has the best quality food for good prices, the only let down is one phone number you can't get a hold of them and no late night license means I was forced to use Good Choice Chinese takeaway and it was awful.

It has been my takeaway of choice for many years but tonight's meal was not up to the usual high standard it normally is so I won't be ordering from here again ...very dissatisfied

Had a delivery of their special curry and special chow mein, but I'm afraid I was not at all impressed by either the portion size or the amount of meat, so that will be my first and only visit.

I'd made my order at 7.50pm last night and got an estimated delivery of 8.50pm so when I had a knock on the door not even 30 minutes later I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious as always when I order from here. Every time I'm in the mood for Chinese food I always order from here.

I've never ordered from a Chinese that got salt and pepper chicken so wrong... arguably the most basic dish one could order from the Chinese. The chicken was hard and chewy, the chips were soggy and dry and the spring rolls were soft and dry. The only decent thing was the free prawn crackers. Definitely not worth the calories :///

ordered food at 7.49pm no sign of food by 9.30pm called to be told my order was out for delivery - still no food had arrived by 10pm. telephoned once again to be told they were now making a fresh order and it would be a further 15 mins. will not be ordered again!

Awful awful awful !!!!! Been ordering from here off and on for 15yrs and only recently have i found it even worse thsn the owners before. Shredded beef was so hard they snapped in half. Non existent sauce to go with them except for a drizzle of watery stuff. Chilli chips were soggy and a bit tired looking. And im pretty sure theyre prawn crackers were from b&m next door . !!!! The hong kong on wardieburn drive is by far still the best down here !!!!!

This is the only chinese takeaway I order from as it is consistently good. Today the food waa all inedible and has gone in the bin. Had toast and cheese instead and it was 100 times better than the food I wasted £14.00 on.

Best salt and spicey chicken ever

Order a few month ago, this time was a lot better than last time .

All foood was delicious me and my partner have decided this our new Chinese it's very hard to find a good one but 10/10 highly recommend the chicken satay skewers mmmm mmm mmm👌💑

Wrong food twice - didn’t even know the menu item, and rude lady on the phone and was just A very unsatisfied and overwhelming order will not be ordering from nine dragons again.

The food was piping hot and the servings are really generous. Highly recommend ordering from here as never had a bad meal or bad service.

I tried to order something simple but the food was way too greasy for my taste.

The meat was a bit overcooked but good portions and we were given a free desert

food was not nice at all shredded beef tasta old beef peking sauce sauce water no tasta at all only fried rice is ok and soup not order again waste of mony 17 pound and end up in the bin

Seaweed was nice but the vegetable spring rolls were soggy and not well filled, took a while to arrive but it wasn't awful

This was my first time ordering from Nine Dragons and I thoroughly enjoyed my order of wontons, crispy shredded beef in honey chill sauce and fried rice.

Just eat states that orders over £10 you get free prawn crackers but does not state that you have to order £10 worth of food and delivery is not included in the total cost. Quite disappointed as only had rice and BBQ sauce. BBQ sauce was horrible tasted nothing like BBQ and was so watery. Partner had chicken curry and could see the grease in the corners of the tub on top of the curry, very off putting. Don't think I will order again

Our order arrived quickly with no issues, but unfortunately the food was far too salty.

Frist time order this one. A bit disappointed. Salt and chilli munchy box was tasteless, chicken bites like eating a rock. Singapore Rice noodles was soggy and oily, char sui in the noodles & spring rolls was like it was out of date, chicken satay on skewers also a bit chewy but the sauce tastes good (it was the best out of everything) 😥😩

It was half an hour late, my chicken wings were awful, half were grey on the inside and covered in way too much batter and the other half were covered in some weird gloopy jelly like stuff so they were extremely soggy. I couldn't eat them so it was a waste of money. The chicken chow mien was slightly better so I ate half because I was so hungry. Though i imagine it wasn't the delivery mans fault it was late, I never got an apology. Overall would not order from here again.

We ordered a 'munchie box' for the first time (we've used 9 dragons a few times and were pretty happy) the food itself was cooked well and a generous amount, however, it was absolutely saturated in salt!! I understand it was a salt dish but it was as if it had been salted twice. We could not eat it. Won't buy this again.

Over the moon both daughter's, hubby and I enjoyed our dinner, daughter's where over the moon it arrived early as well. We will be ordering from them again for sure.

The crispy shredded beef in chili sauce was very nice not too spicy but tasty.The salt chili king prawn was freshly tasted.I really enjoyed the meal.

Asked for delivery at 6 it came at half 4 sonny the time everyone was in it was cold. Clearly stated there was spring rolls in the munchie box but when it came there was no spring rolls. The BBQ sauce was watery and horrible

We were very disappointed with the quality of the food delivered tonight. The satay sauce had changed and was quite bland. The sweet and sour chicken was also pretty tasteless and the chips were soggy. The menu seems to have changed under the new management and it certainly isn't an improvement.
