My son ordered plain noodles for both of us they had no soy sauce very very dry the chicken was small portions too.

I’d say one of the best Chinese takeaways in Edinburgh. Great food at a good price with excellent customer service.

You really need more pancakes to stop your crispy duck from becoming a burrito. An option to purchase more pancakes would be nice.

would have liked the thai red curry to be spicy but other than that good stuff

A bit slow on delivery, but whdn I foing the crispy duckis baked so was actually crispy, all was forgiven.

Great tasting food and everything was still piping hot on arrival.

I order from Sky Garden all the time, but tonight was particularly good! Chicken balls were perfect, the best salt and chilli chicken by far and the shredded chicken in chilli sauce was brilliant as well. Best Chinese in Edinburgh by a long shot!

Usually great food however my order came both early and cold. The only thing warm was the chips.

Chow meins were good, just need was extremely hard almost like eating pork crackles but still ate as was mega hungry.

I’ve been using Sky Garden for a couple of years because I thought they were the best Chinese in the area. But lately the food has not been as good. Tonight the chips and rice did not taste fresh. A bit disappointed.

I sometimes wonder why you bother to give a slot like tonight (between 8:25 and 8:45 then never deliver at the earliest time of the time slot. I was beginning to wonder if it was ever coming.

The ribs could be better as they seemed to have more grizzle than meat and an awfully of lazy garlic

Salt and pepper chicken lacked flavour , chicken fried rice needed more soy sauce

Absolutely awful food. Worst takeaway I've ever had. Noodle dish tasted stale, stock bought sauces that had either had a ton of salt or a ton of sugar added to them. Don't waste your money you can make a more satisfying meal with a toaster. Which is what we did when we ended up throwing all this in the bin. Completely inedible!

Food was delicious. Arrived quickly, was hot and you can deal its freshly made.

The special fried rice was a bit thin with meat. Nice but

food arrived early and was nice and toasty. only issue was seaweek with cashew nuts had about 2 cashes

the egg fried rice 🍚 was spicy ~ chilli had been added wasn't like this before! other than that food was great

We have been loyal customers of Sky Garden for many years now. However, we won't be back as the delivery took almost one and half hours last night. To add insult to injury no refund was offered. Very poor customer service, greedy of them.

Did not enjoy this. Chicken wings, not crispy and a strange taste. Dim sum came with soy sauce, not a tasty dipping sauce. Prawn crackers stale, noodles clumpy. Just very disappointing.

Crispy duck with loads of pancakes and lots of prawns and good quality vegetables- baby corn; straw mushrooms; water chestnuts.

Forgot cans of juice and was charged full price even though a discount of £10 was applied.

Food was greasy. Meat was dry. Quality of sky garden food has gone down significantly recently.

My food was cold, that cold it tasted like it just came straight out the fridge. Very disappointed as order from here lots 😒

Food tasted ok, except chips were soggy and undercooked and the food was not very hot when it arrived. Delivery was on time and driver was nice.

Really enjoy Sky Garden. Staff are always friendly, food is quickly repaired and of great quality. Had one issue once when I asked for no veg in a dish but came with veg. Staff immediately apologised and prioritised my dish. No questions asked. 5/5!

Perfect last order was fantastic, what I would say is can you please make sure the food is warmer the next time but other than that there wasn’t a bad word to be said about it.

Again, cannot thank the quality of the food but what you do need to work on is making sure the food is as hot as possible in temperature as it disappoints when it’s not but keep up the good service and work on what I’d mentioned and you’ll still keep a happy customer. Thanks again sky garden! 👏

House rice was terrible worst thing I have ever had from uses

Delivery was speedy. But food is disgusting, Singapore chow mein was overdosed with curry power!! Tom Yum Gai is basically - thick coconut + breast chicken + cucumber + salt. Yucky! No lemongrass, nothing to true version. I Chuck 90 percent of the food in the bin and have to order macdonald! Stay away!

Fried rice is good, shredded beef is decent just a little bit much vinegar in sauce. Orange chicken is VERY potent orange flavour, unedible as its so strong, tasted like straight concentrate juice. Spring rolls were kinda bland and chewy, not crunchy.

The chicken was dry and chewy, the fat in the duck was thick and rubbery and the spring rolls were soft. Very disappointing and we won’t be ordering from here again.

Had seaweed, salt and chilli chips and honey chilli beef. Actually really very good! I say actually as a few years ago I had an order from here and it was just average. But now they’ve changed something and the seasoning for everything was on point. Crispy greens were crispy salty sweet in perfect amounts, salt and chilli chips were fresh and tasty and beef was still crispy and tender. It’s hard to find really good crispy greens, just really pleased this place has come on so far - my new local again!

Let me know when they were on the way. My drink was forgotten but after I let them know they quickly rectified the mistake. The food was hot and tasted great

A nice surprise! Delicious food. Only tried it because "the usual" was closed, but I think we will be switching permanently! Shredded beef in honey & chilli was best I've had anywhere.

Some of the mixed meat chow mein was very dry. Unlikely to choose this option again.

Sky Garden is an easy place to find and parking wasn't an issue at the time I went (6pm ish) food is delicious and the service was fantastic

The meats seem to completely different and cheaper than what was before. More chewy. The chips were fresher and crispy.

The chicken curry was watery did not eat the chicken and mushrooms was bland not very much flavour the onion and carrots where heard the rice was cold disappointed.

Delivery was missing our drink. I called the takeaway and they apologised however they were unable to deliver item until later in the evening, by which point we would have finished the meal. Refund requested for the missing item.

Usually sky garden is brilliant but tonight I was very disappointed, the food was bland and under cooked, the chips didn't taste or look fresh. Stale. I hope this doesn't happen again.

Rude delivery driver. Delivered much earlier than stated time then ranted that he had to walk back down to get his phone to call as he never bothered to use the (old school) doorbell. A knock wouldn’t be heard. Should’ve had his mobile on him.

Having ordered many many times (almost weekly!) from here I am incredibly frustrated to be given instructions to say they can’t deliver to my door due to other customers near me not coming out. With two small children and having ordered from regularly this is just not reasonable. Very poor service. They clearly don’t need my business but this is a very poor business model.
