Sky Garden in Edinburgh, City of

We have had sky garden previously for delivery. The food was good but recently we called to place our order as we need to double check as my partner is pregnant and has a nut allergy. We got told our address was to far away despite being a 7 minute drive/ 2.4 miles away. We assume they just were not able to deal with the nut allergy. The royal dynasty has been actually far better and really dealt with the allergy superbly.

Found the ribs very fatty and the lemon chicken was very unusual in that it was in a very red sauce, didn't seem very authentic.

Always following instructions which is great. And the dx is freindly as each time delivers we have a chat.

Best Chinese i’ve had in a while. Crispy chilli chicken was properly spicy (so many places let me down with this) and chilli chips good too with good crunch and veg. I think this will be my new go to

We’ve been getting our takeout here for a while now and really love it! We either order direct for delivery or collection and both times always prompt, delicious and great service. It’s very evident that the people working here care a lot and it’s really appreciated the time and effort that goes into that :) I always share this place with others and many people I talk to also enjoy going here. Would recommended!

Lovely fresh food received tonight again from Sky Garden. Their quality and freshness is consistently high. Delivery is always very quick too. Highly recommend.

Too much salt in chicken and vegetables. Too much sauce and not enough vegetables in ßweet and sour. Prawns were abundant and very tasty.

We ordered from here for a Christmas dinner so to speak at late notice, we had heard they were good, and got to say they did not disappoint, we only ordered basics like chow Mein and fried rice, curry sauce and chips, and salt and pepper chicken, and everything was delicious, free prawn crackers and spring rolls were still very crispy and not soggy like other places, I can't wait to try there other dishes, would definitely recommend!!! 😁 This was a tasty alternative to traditional Christmas dinner (that we are having today lol) thank you sky garden! 😊

Always get tasty food delivered piping hot. Portion sizes are generous too so my sons were very happy with their meals. Will definitely order again

You really need more pancakes to stop your crispy duck from becoming a burrito. An option to purchase more pancakes would be nice.

I order from Sky Garden all the time, but tonight was particularly good! Chicken balls were perfect, the best salt and chilli chicken by far and the shredded chicken in chilli sauce was brilliant as well. Best Chinese in Edinburgh by a long shot!

Usually great food however my order came both early and cold. The only thing warm was the chips.

I sometimes wonder why you bother to give a slot like tonight (between 8:25 and 8:45 then never deliver at the earliest time of the time slot. I was beginning to wonder if it was ever coming.

I’ve been using Sky Garden for a couple of years because I thought they were the best Chinese in the area. But lately the food has not been as good. Tonight the chips and rice did not taste fresh. A bit disappointed.

The ribs could be better as they seemed to have more grizzle than meat and an awfully of lazy garlic

Absolutely awful food. Worst takeaway I've ever had. Noodle dish tasted stale, stock bought sauces that had either had a ton of salt or a ton of sugar added to them. Don't waste your money you can make a more satisfying meal with a toaster. Which is what we did when we ended up throwing all this in the bin. Completely inedible!

We have been loyal customers of Sky Garden for many years now. However, we won't be back as the delivery took almost one and half hours last night. To add insult to injury no refund was offered. Very poor customer service, greedy of them.

Did not enjoy this. Chicken wings, not crispy and a strange taste. Dim sum came with soy sauce, not a tasty dipping sauce. Prawn crackers stale, noodles clumpy. Just very disappointing.

Crispy duck with loads of pancakes and lots of prawns and good quality vegetables- baby corn; straw mushrooms; water chestnuts.

Forgot cans of juice and was charged full price even though a discount of £10 was applied.

Really enjoy Sky Garden. Staff are always friendly, food is quickly repaired and of great quality. Had one issue once when I asked for no veg in a dish but came with veg. Staff immediately apologised and prioritised my dish. No questions asked. 5/5!

Again, cannot thank the quality of the food but what you do need to work on is making sure the food is as hot as possible in temperature as it disappoints when it’s not but keep up the good service and work on what I’d mentioned and you’ll still keep a happy customer. Thanks again sky garden! 👏

Perfect last order was fantastic, what I would say is can you please make sure the food is warmer the next time but other than that there wasn’t a bad word to be said about it.
