Had an unbelievable experience at tigerlily for breakfast, had one of the best service I have ever received thank you so so much Kathryn and will certainly be returning next time I am in Edinburgh 😁😁

Nemo is the best bartender! He rocks! And he can make a mad good drink! Visit and hope to see him! Drink on Scotland! Nemo agrees!

We first visited at Christmas and then again in August. Both times, we didn’t book a table but managed to get a seat for drinks. The decor is beautiful- many photo opportunities. Christmas is especially beautiful with all the bauble displays. The drinks are great. I’ve had cocktails and wine. Both great quality. Will be returning when I visit Edinburgh again.

Do yourself a favour and DO NOT go to TIGERLILY. Look at the poor reviews on trip advisor - there are a lot and not one with a comment from the Management Team. I've never been anywhere, where the staff and in particular the Management could be less interested in serving their guests and making an enjoyable experience for them. I was at my niece's hen party, 15 of us on Saturday. I gave this a 1 star rating because the systems forces you to rate it. It really is 0. We waited around 40 mins for someone to come to table to take a drinks order. We eventually ordered wine and cocktails, the cocktails arrived but no wine. The spirit orders kept getting mixed up and took even longer to arrive than the wine. The table had no wine glasses on it and not one server noticed. When eventually the wine arrived we had to tell them we had no wine glasses and the NEEDED to be opened with an actual corkscrew - not a "tool" to open wine as the server suggested. Over an hour of waiting someone eventually came to take the food order, after 20mins returned to take the order again!! Nearly 2hrs in and still not food. We complained and complained but nothing changed. The younger staff clearly haven't been trained, the older staff, especailly the Management just not interested. They know they can get the business because Edinburgh is so busy. Well here is a business where customers come last. The food was shocking and the bloomin cheek of them put a service charge on !! We weren't drunk enough to just pay. Makes me wonder if there is any business acumen amongst the people running the business. What was meant to be the highlight of the hen weekend was definitely the low point. Advice to anyone thinking of booking -DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. There are so many better venues in Edinburgh who appreciate and value customers.

Went here for our Christmas night out. The place was lovely as were the staff. It was let down by the food though. The pate was tasteless and the salmon was ok but nothing great but the cheese board was good. It may have been because it was busy but I feel they could have been better.

Tigerlilys es uno de mis lugares favoritos en Edimburgo ir para cócteles, en mi última visita tuve una que era agradable elderflower, sin duda lo recomendaría. Recomendaría una mesa si estás planeando cenar allí ya que normalmente es bastante concurrido en la zona de restaurante. Tuvimos una ración de queso y carne con nuestros cócteles en el bar, que era encantadora.

Llegamos tarde en la noche para las bebidas. El personal era rápido y elegantemente uniformados para servir. Carlos en el bar era muy amable y nos dio información local.

Mi esposa y yo fuimos allí para unos tragos. La lista de cócteles es increíble, un poco caro, peros está bien en mi opinión, ya que los alrededores son preciosos. El personal es extremadamente amable y servicial.

Estuve con dos amigos para la cena. El personal era educado que pedimos nuestro 3 comidas principales.

Reservado para la cena como parte de un trabajo en Navidad, así que era un menú fijo. La comida, sopa, luego un bonito desierto de Turquía. Era un poco estrecha pero como se espera durante el período festivo. El personal era muy atento. Sin duda volveremos fuera del período festivo para el almuerzo o la cena

Este restaurante especial escondido en George St tiene un ambiente maravilloso, con amplias mesas para grupo grande y pequeño puesto es para la cena íntima.

Esta fue nuestra segunda experiencia en este restaurante. La comida es buena, pero un poco caro. El ambiente es interesante y diferente, pero me pareció un poco ruidoso, ya que el volumen de la música era un poco alta y las superficies del restaurante tendían no absorber sound desde que rodean diners. El servicio era muy bueno y en general me pareció una buena experiencia.

Un grupo de nosotros llegamos temprano para disfrutar de cócteles, que era genial, me encantó el ambiente y sillas funky. La cena fue excelente, la comida no podía ser criticada. Disfrutamos muchísimo nuestra noche aquí.

High T for 16 people, so bad, the scones only one type fruit! And these were hard and dry, small doughnuts hard, cream- you could taste what was like icing sugar in it. Tables crammed in with other parties. Very poor for this type if establishment. Photo of dried scone and what was left on just one of the platters. Won't recommend for high T.

This place has so much competition it can't afford to be this slow with service . Advice would be to take your hard earned pennies else where because it is not cheap. The service not only was slow but moody and unhappy about being there. A real shame as they were clearly understaffed. On a better note the food was nice enough but i would have eaten anything I was so hungry by the time it arrived .

For mothers day my daughter-in-law treated me to afternoon tea here. It was absolutely terrible. There was 2 small sandwiches each and a small pastry with smoked salmon on it. The scones were hard and we had one small cake each. It was such an embarrassment. My daughter-in-law was disappointed for me. I have found out since then that other people have had the same experience. Won't be returning and I wouldn't recommend it.

Food good. Service poor. £67 service charge on a bill for 10 people. Paid before we realised it had been added. Wouldnt have been so bad if the service hadnt been rubbish. You are not obliged to pay it so be aware of this..

The cocktails and food were really nice. The only downside was how loud it was in the restaurant due to the music and people in the bar area (6pm on a Saturday). I would still go back though, especially for the fuzzy bramble cocktail.

Muito legal lá no Lulu, decoração impecável em todos os ambientes! Achei muito aconchegante, principalmente o jogo de luzes... É concorrido se quiser reservar para jantar nos finais de semana! Porém mesmo que não consiga jantar vale a pena uma passadinha pelo bar com os mais variados drinks e uns bites! Super recomendo para jovens e casais jovens!

It's a nice place for both parents and kids - a bit more chilled than your usual kids soft play with lovely animal type decor in the cafe. It could almost double as a trendy bar at night time! There are 2 "soft play" areas - one a toyroom for the under 3s and a bigger more traditional soft play for all ages. Although at £5 an hour it is not the cheapest in town!There is a good menu - but £4.50 for a milkshake and £5.60 for a small panini is ridiculous! Service is appalling!! They are either understaffed or just inefficient - or both! Tables piled high with previous customers' plates and dishes and no-one clearing them away. I asked twice for our table to be cleaned and cleared - then ended up doing it myself. We waited 40 minutes for a bowl of soup and a panini at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. Not impressed.Saying that I probabaly will go back - as my son loved it and it is very convenient. If the staff behind the counter could just put a smile on their faces it might help though!

Interior muy agradable con una decoracion contemporanea y juego de luces tenues. Nos encanto la cena , primeros platos ostras, frescas y buenas, ademas compartimos un plato surtido de marisco con muy buena calidad y precio.Lo unico que nos llamo la atencion fue el servicio, entorno chic, muy agradable, calidad del producto excelente pero a la hora de atender la mesa mal. Te dejan los platos con las cascaras del marisco un buen rato en medio de la mesa y cuando la recojen al no haber mantel deberian de pasar un paño y limpiar los restos que se quedan en la mesa. Nos nos cuadro la imagen del restaurante con el servicio, pero fue el mejor rest que estuvimos.

Its a nicely done spacious place, with friendly and welcoming staff. We have a toddler who is just in his terrible 2's just now, and this place was perfect where we could relax and grab a bite while keeping an eye on the wee one who was playing in the well equipped play area. The food was reasonably priced and had very good quantity.Highly recommend, and is a big hit for kids.

A sort of cross between a softplay and a child-friendly cafe - such a good idea you wonder why no one thought of it before! The main room is a comfortable jungle-themed cafe, filled with comfy sofas and natural light - so nothing like the warehouse feel of softplay... and there was also another distinctly adult sitting room to the front of the building too... For the kids there are two play areas, The one for 4 years and up is down the hall, and another for younger children, in a screened off portion of the main room, each manned by a member of staff (there to gatekeep rather than play with the kids). You pay for each child for a 30 minute or 60 minute session. It cost us £3.50 per child for a 30 minute peak play.I thought it was great. Our 2 year olds were chomping at the bit to get into the inviting play area, and played happily for their 30 minute slot. We got a very nice latte in peace. I actually got to talk to my friend! Great idea.
