In from Vancouver, BC and it’s our first night in Scotland. The Ferry Tap did not disappoint for some beers and fun after dinner.👍👍👍
Probably heading back tomorrow night .💎
Be well,

This is undoubtedly one of the best takeaways in Edinburgh! The food is absolutely delicious, bursting with flavour, and consistently satisfying. Naz, the restaurant's admin, goes above and beyond to ensure every customer has a great experience with their friendly and attentive service. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
Our experience at this restaurant was mediocre. The food tasted like something had left the pan a while ago, which was very unfortunate.. Staff promptly provided us with the bill when we mentioned that we didn’t want the dessert menu. The overall service felt rushed, as they were serving a lot of customers simultaneously.
Popped in early Sunday evening. Food as good as always. Very nice friendly serving staff. Our burgers arrived in quick time and were perfectly cooked. Marked down atmosphere only because it was very quiet. A great place for food and a catch up with family or friends.
We stayed at Premier Inn Edinburgh Park earlier this week.
If you’re using sat nav be careful you don’t end up on the wrong road!!! Ours sent us to a barriered private road, which I think belongs to the railway.
We checked in ok thanks to the lady on the front desk.
We booked a PremierPlus room. Was it worth it? Just about I think.
It was very handy having a (small) fridge in the room. The rooms AC was excellent.
The train service into Edinburgh is excellent taking less than 10 minutes to get to Waverley, and the station is only 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
Now the bad part. Our breakfast on the first morning was disgraceful. The sausage was ok, the bacon was just about inedible, it tasted dreadful. The black pudding was swimming in grease on the serving plate. The scrambled egg looked like it had been on the hot counter for hours, but actually it tasted ok. Beans, mushrooms and fried eggs were all dried up. Shocking.
We didn’t eat there again during our stay.
Adorable pub. Has live music ever night. We just went in for drinks. They have a really nice selection of Scotch, Gin, Vodka and Beer. They do have non-alcoholic beers as well. The food selections sounded cool but the chef was out sick, so we went next door for dinner.
Went there with my nana she ordered a walnut and coffee cake and when she tried it,tasted like bananas-no worries there but when she tried asking if it had bananas in it the waiter rolled her eyes and give my nana a dirty look
Lovely place with deals on each night for guests..Food was great, service was lovely and wanted to mention Harshit and his customer service. If your staying at the hotel highly recommended and Thursday nights steak night is a must to try.
We have been coming for years to the granary and have always loved it … seeing it change staff many times but Demi’s and the staff are by far the best … we popped in today after a long walk and our 2.5 year old daughter (Lilly) asking to go to “the blue shop” for some brunch which was absolutely amazing … and some top notch mimosas yummy… the staff are so so lovely with our little daughter (Lilly) even getting her to help watering the flowers … would highly recommend time and time again for all occasions xx
