Probably the best chinese takeaway we've ever had. Special set menu for two. Never had lemon chicken or peanut butter toast in syrup. Very generous portions. No skimping on the meat. Excellent value for money.

Probablemente la mejor comida china que hemos comido. Menú especial para dos. Nunca había tostado pollo limón o mantequilla de maní en jarabe. Porciones muy generosas. Nada de escatimar en la carne. Excelente relación calidad-precio.

Didn’t go into the shop to judge atmosphere but the food and delivery time are brill. Mushroom and chicken parcels are delicious and tried smoked chicken for the first time, amazing!

It was awful rice burnt and curry sauce to salty

Got the mixed starter and salt and chilli chicken,all were very tasty, friendly service,shop nice and clean,will definitely return, Returned and tried the munchy box but wouldn't recommend.

Ordered online and it came when it was supposed to. On time. The driver was very courteous and pleasant. The food was nice and plentiful but a bit too chunky and the veg was a bit under cooked. Quite expensive.

having used this takeaway for at least the last 20 years, apart from the time during Covid lockdown when closed I am just really disappointed now. I appreciate cost have gone up, and I dont mind the price increases. Whate I do mind though is being charged an extra pound here and there for little things added(that they have never charged me for) even 2 nights ago the owner never charged me for some spring onions and peas, now 2 days later he is wanting 2 quid for something that costs next to nothing. maybe I am a Victor Meldrew and will get slated but just my opinion. I have known these people for years even sort of classing them as extended family. I just have no choice just to cut my own nose off, as the food is excellent. Just a shame it has came to this.

The quality of the food is excellent, however the prices have absolutely rocketed recently. I understand the whole cost of living crisis and prices going up. But they have increased significantly more than other restaurants. It's a shame.

Excellent food, large portions, free extras and all well served. Poor server behind the till was inundated with calls and customers (sign of a popular place) and she still managed to be super friendly and ensure all the orders were right. Great Chinese takeaway. Solid recommend.

Both my parents and our family only order chineze from here now and they are consistently good. The delivery is fast (once it was longer but they warned us prior) and the food great portion size and tasty.

there was a large selection of starter. duck spring roll was nice with plenty of meat and vegetables inside. beef black bean was lovely. fair pricing with good size portion.

Gotta say that was the best Thai Red curry I've had from a takeaway, nice big chuncky fresh bit of chicken, delicious taste!

i tried to order 3 rice added eah seperately but they did not add so ended up with only one rice .

Always my first choice for chinese in this area. Genuinely never had an issue, always early, and if not, on time. Drivers always super polite, and most importantly the food is always lovely. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Food is amazing from here. Last salt and chilli chips i got didn't have much flavouring on them so hope its a one off as you guys have the best salt and chilli around 😍

Very salty food, all of it. 30 min late delivery so arrived sweaty and cold. When I rang to enquire where our food was she said it had already been delivered. First time we’ve ordered and will the last. Stick to our usual place. Regret taking the chance esp for 1 starter, 2 mains, rice & chips that cost £27 incl delivery. Disappointed really and a complete waste of money.

Terrible experience. I ordered a seafood fried rice and my wife had chicken fried rice. Both are in the bucket. Tasted like dirty oil and exceptionally greasy. More seafood sticks than anything else. Sorry to be so negative but it was ghastly.

Have ordered from here before normally the food is good but tonight it was awful. Butterfly prawns overcooked, spare ribs tasteless and chewy. Everytime i order from here the food is late ranging from 20-30 minutes. Dont think i will be ordering from here again.

I have just moved in the area and was trying my local Takeway. I got salty spicy chips and salty spicy beancurd. It was just pathetic. Really bad. The beancurd was old, dry and cold. I would be ashamed to sell it to anyone. Oh Well, they have just lost a customer. Never again.

The quality felt as if little to no effort was put in with almost a whole onion badly chopped sitting on top of the sauce and the crackers, I've had better.

Always great food and usually very speedy. If there is a delay (not usual but due to a very large order on this occasion) they are honest and realistic regarding the delivery time. The food is delicious and changes are made without a fuss or charge. A great choices.

used to use this takeaway years ago, never again, food is bland, tasteless, absolutely appalling. £27, waste of money, they recon that their food is good, apparently, their customers aren't fussy, or they tell a pack of lies, or, theres people out there using it who aint fussy, avoid at all costs

Havent had a good meal like this one in ages havent been in there for over a year and a half as i moveaway went back to get a decent meal

Best Chinese in north Edinburgh

Was really pleasantly surprised by this place. It has so few reviews, I thought it might be a bit rubbish, but honestly, it was really very good. All the food was well made with good ingredients and generous portions, not skimping on meat or fresh veg. We had: - Chicken noodle soup. Tasty stock, VERY generous amounts of noodles and chicken. Noodles a little soft but that's what you get when you take away. - Duck with pineapple. Tasty. Maybe a bit too much skin but some people like that. - Beef Chow Mein. Very nice, the meat (thinly sliced beef) was unusually tender and tasty. - Chicken with cashew nuts - this looked odd as the chicken was cut in irregular chunks, bit it was really very tender, obviously properly velveted and extremely tasty. In less scrupulous places this is often low on meat and bulked out with too many onions and canned veg (water chestnuts, bamboo shoots) but this had plenty of meat and lots of fresh vegetables (peppers, onions, broccoli) as well as the tasty onions and the classic bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. Really very good. Only improvement would be a bit more gravy and a few more cashew nuts. All in all, really very good, well above average, I would very much recommend it and would definitely eat from here again.

The food here is always good and the delivery speedy. They are very helpful in changing dishes etc if you wish and no charge or minimal which is great for teens who have very certain views!!

Ordered Chicken chow mein and black bean sauce. The chicken breast was nice big chunks. However there wasn't much black bean sauce, just black beans through the noodles which to my surprise were crispy (no mention of this in online menu, however menu I picked up in the shop did say crispy) wouldn't order this again however might try something else off the menu.

First time ordering in a while (we had stopped due to quality of the food not being up to scratch) and really impressed. Good selection of veg and really tasty. Will order again in future.

Terrible. Food is just salt, and more salt. Nothing seems fresh at all. everything is just thrown together. Food went straight in the bin, and had a sandwich instead!!!

Sadly this place has gone down hill. Bbq ribs were tasteless. Meat was tough and mostly fat. Chicken curry was very bland. 1 star given for portion size.

Food was ok nuthin spectacular although my special thai yellow curry with seafood fried rice was lovely i'd recommend it to anyone...My girlfriends chicken curry was bland though same with prawn crackers a bit tasteless the portion sizes were pretty good though they don't scrimp on the fish like a lot of places do.....I will probably order again.

Would give 0 stars for delivery time! Original wait time was one hour. 1 hour 20 mins later still waiting. Wasn't a hard order either 1 chow mien. Phoned up to be told would be here very soon it was on its way and still isnt here. Would cancel but have already paid by card. Driver was rude and good luke warm

Ordered online was told would be 6.25pm - an hour, arrived at 7pm. Asked for duck curry no veg only mushroom. Received a duck curry with onions & peas, not even mushrooms. Took too long that I now can't be bothered sending back. Duck is also full of fat. Not impressed

Was not happy with the service I received. The delivery driver called me up and told me to come outside and collect my food because he didn't know the address..... when I told him exactly where to go he still refused to find the flat. The food wasn't the best I've had it was rather tasteless. Safe to say I will not be using this restaurant again.

asked for steak to be well done, it wasn't it was medium at best.
