Gone. This place has now regretably closed its doors. A pity it looked intersesting but this place changes often, perhaps due to its location , which is on a side street.
Amazing! Was in Sunday just passed. Warmly welcomed and served by a very pleasant young brunette. Efficient service and an overall lovely experience. Will definitely be returning:)
Absolutely awful, brought half of main course out with starters, told them to take it back and when we where ready for main course we would let them know, then they brought main course back out when table hadn't been cleared from the starters. To top it off it must have been left on the side in the kitchen as it was cold when brought back out, we refused to eat it as it was too cold and all they could say was "sorry" we gave the cold food back and asked for the bill which they said they will take 10% off. Absolute joke! To say we where disappointed is an understatement and no way on this earth is it 5 star food as rated on Tripadvisor, don't even get me started on the cleanliness!
Grace was so friendly and helpful and that was before I sat down. Dog friendly too so my puppy was happy too.
The coffee was delicious and the compote the nicest I have ever tasted!!
Looks quite ordinary from the outside but it is very far from ordinary!! Well worth a special trip.
Booked a table online. Got an email back to confirm. Turned up for dinner and restaurant was completely closed (looks like it had been for some time), even though it still showed as open online. Very frustrating.
Best place in town for loose leaf tea, in my opinion! They have so many different kids that I always find myself trying something new, and i've yet to be disappointed. The prices are also greta considering the content and the amount you get.
Pase por alto el pasillo de Ulster, ya que estaba en el Sheraton. Una pequeña reforma en curso en los pasos que conducen al hotel. pocas tiendas alrededor n
buen punto de acceso
I come from a sunny beaches and healthy food kind of lifestyle and every now and then I get a real urge to have a juice or an acai bowel. I managed to find this place when I was in Edinburgh and boy am I glad! I went there pretty much every day I was there to get either a smoothie or an acai bowel. Food was great and the price you'd expect for tropical fruity things in somewhere like Edinburgh.
The advertising for this store could be much better, I've only recently discovered them but will go out of my way from the costas and starbucks to come here. The coffee is delicious and the food is even better. Best part? Its quiet and calm. You can find ques going out the door in other places but you'll be guaranteed a small wait here.
Personal agradable
Good coffee and service! I cannot believe people are using race card even when ordering coffee nowadays! I'm black and have been going there for months. We are not all like this.
The first time I came, I was disappointed by a drink that tasted like just orange juice but keep reading. I later went again and tried a different drink and I am so so glad I gave it a second chance ! As a boba/tea/yummy drinks lover, Soho Tea is honestly the best out of the 15 boba places I have tried in town ! I keep coming back to Soho Tea, so by now, I know most of the drinks on their menu and 99.99% of them are absolutely delicious and really unique ! The price is average, the quality is amazing, the shop is open everyday until quite late (and it's very pretty and clean and calm), staff is super friendly and you can choose how much sugar or ice to have. I particularly recommend the strawberry mochi drink, it has so many layers of different textures and tastes 😋 the mango sago and the grape drinks are also really good. The classic brown sugar boba milk tea is a good one too👍 anyway. Just go there and find your favourite :) oh, never tried it but apparently they do delivery too
A truly unique experience.
I booked a traditional Chinese tea ceremony session for my girlfriend and I on a special occasion and we had such an enjoyable and relaxing visit that we lost track of time and had become thoroughly drunk on tea by the end!
As someone with an interest in tea and Chinese culture but little knowledge and experience of authentic Chinese tea, I could not have imagined a better guide than Heddy (the shop's owner) to show the way.
We were introduced to a variety of different teas, told of their origins and health benefits, and shown how they are brewed (and drunk) in the traditional gongfu style. We left with not only a heady mix of flavours and aromas swirling in our heads, but more importantly with a richer and deeper understanding of Chinese tea, allowing us to further explore the world of quality tea on our own, making it well worth the cost.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a non-commercially orientated, unique, and memorable tea tasting experience - our cities need more places like this!
