Brilliant food and the waiter who sat and took our orders was brilliant. Unfortunately this all went wrong when the other waiter was rude.

We had a pleasant lunch hour after visiting the royal yacht Britannia moored near the shopping center. Having two children in tow we chose this restaurant for its cleanliness, good food and a pleasant welcome from the staff who were always attentive to our needs.

Great service and quick, just the job when in a hurry. Been to a few different places recently and not been disappointed. Staff banter been good. Current special offer well worth trying. Food piping hot and reasonably good tasting.

Rachel our server was very friendly, Smiley and efficient. The views from Ocean Terminal excellent. Food well cooked and presented nicely. Restaurant was clean and bright.

Amazing tiramisu, great lasagne and the cocktails are to die for And the service from Lewis was amazing

They were very helpful and child friendly, really understanding and patient and checked in with us throughout, food was delicious as well and came out piping hot, my little boy loved it and was a perfect portion

Breve reseña aquí. Entré en el restaurante con mi familia extendida (brevemente), pre-gladiador 2 mostrando. Pedimos una ronda de bebidas (tres Lagers; un refresco). Las bebidas estaban con nosotros de forma inminente, sin alboroto. Disfrutamos de ellos cómodamente en la zona del bar - incluso se las arregló para apretar en un pequeño concurso de mesa para el entretenimiento! Personal amable y sin dramas con la visita.

Haven’t visited F and B for years after poor service and food but this visit was great. Pleasant staff, decent food and nice atmosphere. The Ocean terminal venue was a good tonight and will definitely revisit

Visité este restaurante con mi hija ayer, 3 pm 14 de diciembre. Tan amable bienvenida y hospitalidad, nos sentimos como si nos trataron como amigos de amigos que aparecen en. Bonito tazón caliente lleno de patatas fritas y sabrosa boloñesa de espagueti, condimentado muy bien también. Nos encantó el té de menta fresca también. Gran vista de la terminal, volverá cuando llegue Edimburgo.

Falta de personal para un sábado por la noche. Dicho esto, no tuve que esperar demasiado para sentarme o servirme, pero... . . Comida al microondas o frita en el mejor de los casos. Mac n queso sobre cocido y pegajoso... . . Las costillas no habían sido asadas (solo asadas) y cubiertas con un toque muy pequeño de salsa bbq. Las patatas fritas estaban buenas y la cerveza fría, así que no todo mal.

Mi novio y yo cenamos aquí antes del cine recientemente. Quedó impresionado con el personal profesional amable y los asientos acogedores. La boloñesa de espagueti estaba muy sabrosa. También nos alegró mucho descubrir que obtenemos un porcentaje de descuento de la cuenta cuando mostramos nuestras entradas de cine.

We visit this place often. When their branch in the Gyle closed it was a big loss for us and many people we know. This place, however is amazing. The staff are lovely, the food is great and it is in a great location. Great choice of starters and a good selection of mains and drinks. If you like American Italian cuisine then this is a nice place to go.

Rude staff considering the restaurant was empty

We stopped here are visiting Britannia- 30% off with our ticket was very attractive. Good service and food options good. Steak a bit chewy but tasty.

We had a great experience as turists for the 1st time in Edinburgh until we got to this place. The host was very rude with an ass actitude. We are sorry for the young lady working with him. She was very nice. If you are going to improve something please hire a host that is going to be patience, show respect to your customers and an idea of what hospitality is.

Went out for a birthday meal, amazing service from our server Emilia. Such a lovely person and a bubbly personality. Whoever get Emilia as their server is lucky!

Food and service was excellent! Place was quiet due to mall being pretty dead, but great overall experience.

The staff was very friendly. We were visiting and had many questions about the area that they were happy to chat about. The food was delicious and was served quickly. We sat near the windows overlooking the water.

Visited as part of a group visiting Britannia the service was great from the greeting as we entered and our server was exceptional (a polish lady ) food was fresh hot and tasty would recommend good food choice

Nice and enthusiastic staff. Food is really good and the cheesy garlic bread is the best thing I've ever had! Atmosphere is nice and family like but the music was a bit too loud. Other than that great place to grab a bite!

Rebecca looked after us very well, the location and view were great, the food just right, thanks. It's a shame all the branches near us at home have closed down.

We were shown to our table by a very cheery waiter, he was very attentive and patient while our Grandchildren chose. Food was very quickly served and we all enjoyed what we had chosen.

The staff were great. Personally disappointed that there was no 'fish & chips' on the menu.

Amazing place for Dinner! The staff is really nice and the food is delicious. The place was clean and it was pretty quiet which was a big plus for me. I was lucky enough to have a seat next to the window where I could watch the sea while waiting for my food. The selection on the menu is quite big, the servings are just the right size and the price is pretty fair as well. The staff is really nice and helpful, they really pay attention to their customers! I can recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly!

Made a quick stop here after the Britannia visit - the pasta was great, the pizzas were a bit small and on the flatter side (but tasty still). The staff was very attentive and went out of their way accommodating to our dietary restrictions. Currently (August 2024) the restaurant offers a discount when you present the Britannia ticket.

Service was decent. Great views. Pasta was way over cooked and sort of average for flavour, not bad not good. The meat content was pretty low in the sauce. The menu brags about letting them have time to decompose etc. this is a pretty average place for mall food. The mall looks lifeless. For us the draw was the royal yacht and we were hungry afterwards. Overall the place is a solid 3 with possibility of a 4 depending on what you order and when / who makes it. As an aside not me the Hawaiian pizza has extremely limited bits of pineapple also.

Good dining in experience with a nice view of the Britannia, very nice waiters & good service. Atmosphere was pretty quiet which my brother and I liked. Very broad menu options to choose from with gluten free & vegetarian options. Definitely worth the visit !

I was here with my family yesterday. Haven't been to a frankie and bennys in a while and was very surprised with how good the food was. The service was amazing! The girls at the bar and serving were so polite and happy. I will be back :)

I’ve only given 2 stars. This was the 1st time I’d ordered a takeaway pizza from Frankie & Bennys - I was really looking forward to it as I’ve seen them get made in the restaurant and they always look amazing. What a disappointment! It was lukewarm - had to heat it in the oven and it tasted bland. Will not be ordering again. Delivery came at the time stated but what a let down. It’s true what they say - always read the reviews!!! In response to a poor review 1 month ago F & B’s response was that they would ensure that this would be looked at and improved - you need to replace your pizza chef!

The pizza was really disgusting… the dough was poor of flavour and the cheese was not mozzarella! I’ve order skinny fries… but I couldn’t finish theme because were raw and unflavoured!!! We never back again!

Every dish was amazing, lasagna, bolognaise and cheese half pizza for kid. Also deserts- like cheesecake, and chokolate shake- loved so much. Service also high :)

I’ve put 4 stars but would give it a 3.5. Frankie and Bennys isn’t fancy and they don’t pretend to be. Often come here before the cinema which is next door and they often have cinema discounts. The chicken strips were just ok however I really rate Frankie and bennys pizza and have even had it delivered. The New York giant was generously topped and was delicious. Highly recommend you try this dish on your next visit

Myself and a friend love this Frankie and Benny's as the service is always quick with super friendly staff. My friend is vegan and is always happy with the selection to has. The location is a tad quiet but that's what we prefer and the views out towards the shore add to the ambience. Never had any problems with food as its always out quick and still hot. The staff always go the extra mile and can grant small acts of kindness randomly.

I'll start on a positive, hubby loved the carbonara and we both enjoyed the sweet, brownie and ice cream. However, the burger and chips that I had was awful. I have sliced my cheek inside my mouth as the overcooked hard skinny fries were not great. The burger would have been nice if it was even warm, there was a slice of cheese on the burger however it didnt taste of cheese at all. Service was great, the place was empty though, should have taken this as a warning maybe as other restaurants were busy. Staff were great, some food good other food not so nice and fries on the dangerous side lol will vote with our feet and not return. I should have raised a concern at the time, but I felt too akward doing this in an empty restaurant.

Lovely food, friendly staff, chilled atmosphere. Haven't been in an F&B for years, but was pleasantly surprised at how much they'd improved, or maybe it was this one, with an engaging and attentive bartender who made us feel very welcome.

We came from Edinburgh to Aberdeen on Monday the 12 of Feb.Came here for food and we were all disappointed with the food because it was all cold and the burgers were hard and the hotdog and the so called spaghetti Bolognese was cold and not nice at all.

Very good to eat quickly and of good quality, the price is reasonable for Scotland (here everything is expensive for Latin Americans). Friendly and fast attention.

The staff are the friendliest around and the service was great, good views too. Hate to criticise but some of the food was very underwhelming, there was a pasta dish that looked awful, and the vegetarian burger had a strong chemical like taste.

Food was horrible 🤢 and way over priced. The food is definitely not fresh. My bolinase pasta was cooked in the microwave for sure. Don't recommend witch is a shame because the staff are all lovley!

ordered starters for 3 folk only two came out at proper time 3rd sterter came out with mains which was a portion of onion rings by the time we did get them they were cold also asked for a juice with out ice came with ice and a slice of oranges asked for this to be changed all they done was took ice out and topped it with some fresh juice poor poor also need to update online menu disappointed when asked for fish chips to be told wasn't on menu anymore not a good night
