Awful service, after 5mins and the server asking twice for people todo milkshakes no one bothered. Manager was on site and didn’t care. Gave refund. No apology just you’ll get your money back in a few days.

Lots of potatoes, very tasty meat, the burger much better than I expected and the place very well decorated.

Always super tasty burgers at Five Guys. Here service is also great, and a top location just next to Princess Street.

"Five guys" is "Five guys" wherever you go in the uk. i tried it in London, and now in Edinburgh, it is the same great burger served by great staff.

First time tried 5 guys here and love it! Food nice and stuff are so sweet!!!!

I tried Five Guys for the first time, for fast food the burger seemed high quality. However, I didn’t like that they don’t have a basic option—you have to choose all the ingredients yourself.

Asked for lettuce and onion, got back to hotel no lettuce or onion and both patties were red in the middle so went in the bin

Terrible. Burger was cold. Drinks machines weren’t working properly. No ice in one.. Coke was flat upstairs.. Some of the drinks were missing. Toilets disgusting. Never again. Management need to be held accountable.

Five Guys still is my favourite burger place, wherever I am. Five Guys = Five Stars

Good food, a bit expensive but the cajun fries make up for it. Nothing too special in the burger department, can get equal or better value at other burger places.

I had five guys across different locations in uk and it was great experience. However, for some reason today burger didn’t taste good either fries. The bun was cold. Not worth £17pp. On good side - nice staff and spacious restaurant with loads of sittings. Unfortunately I will be avoiding this chain for some time.

On Saturday 12/10/2024 I had a day out with a friend and my dog (2 year old cockapoo). We checked on Google if Five Guys was dog friendly and it still says it is. So at around half past 4/5 pm we decided to try it. However when I tried to add an extra burger patty to my order for my doggo the cashier asked for help to a senior colleague, the senior worker told me very rudely that they don't accept dogs inside and that there's a sign on the entrance door saying that. I told him that Google says otherwise and that there's no sign on the door and he replied in a threatening manner that he can call a manager if I wanted. We were absolutely speechless for all that hostility and lack of customer service so we decided to bring our money somewhere else. Oh, and on the door there's no sign saying that dogs are not allowed.

First time at five guys, I have to say I'm positively surprised. Good burger, great fries. The only semi-negative point is the price which is a bit high compared to other chains

Great staff, great food. 1 🌟 because they have a public wifi up, but don't give out the password. Bizarre.

Five Guys never disappoints. The burgers and fries were astounding and insanely delicious. This restaurant was especially nice, because they had Dr. Pepper at the fountain. Which we in Austria / Germany do not have.

Items missing. No milkshake or hotdog. The burger and fries that did arrive was cold and over 15 minutes late. The protective seal was broken too. I didn’t even touch the food. Informed Just Eat. They seem to be looking into it.

Your usual five guys, quality burgers but why put so much salt on the fries, great service as always, recommended !!!!!!

Maybe because I’m from Canada but I found it expensive. £21 for a bacon cheeseburger, a small fries and a pop?? I liked the charred taste of the smashed meat patties but the burger tasted strongly of processed cheese and the bun was not my favourite. Friendly service though and open late. Poor employees have to deal with a lot of drunk patrons at this location so I commend them for their hard-work and patience

driver picked up our order then proceeded to I assume deliver another order in the opposite direction to then go past the restraunt half an hour after he had already collected our food. which meant food had sat in his bag on his BIKE for an hour and was freezing. not worth the money. just eat taking on too many deliveries at once

We waited a long time for our food. When we got it the fries were soft!!! I dont like soft fries! The burger was dry, and had a thick salatleave on it, and almost half an onion! Not worth the hype

The burgers at Five Guys are very good, refills with several soda options and generous portions of potatoes. The only problem I had was that the potato came without salt.

Popped in after the Eras Tour, so it was likely busier than normal! Ordering was quick and easy but it took quite a while to get our orders. Food was tasty and cooked fresh.

Indeed American bullshxt. I have been told 5 guys is no where to be compared to McDonald's. Indeed this place is a lot worst. Food is so 'fake' buns and meat most likely have a shelf life of a year. So pricey for a burger 100% beef one that never even stood next to a good beef. Red and white interior makes you eat in a rush somehow. Thousands of stairs on Frederick Street. I have been sick from this take out place for 3 days. I will never be back and will never recommend it to anyone. Definitely not a best burger place. Avoid.

Wow, I feel incredibly ripped off. Prices are incredibly expensive for what you get. Burger was bland and needed quite a bit of salt. Won't be going back.

So many wonderful drink choices. Definite hydration spot. Staff is so nice. Bathrooms are clean. Good place to rest.

If you like your burgers big and full of every extra item possible like mushrooms etc. Then this is the place to go. All burgers are literally made to order and not stacked up under a heat light. Word of warning though. If you like your fries (and the ones you get here are amazing) you'd either have to be really hungry or prepared to share. As the portions you get are humongous

How are people still coming here with the prices? It's mental. Fast food burgers for £11+ with no chips and their fountain drinks are almost the price of a pint! Madness. It's cheaper to walk into a pub nearby and order a properly cooked burger and chips.

I stand by it when I say Five Guys make possibly the best fast food burger out there and this branch has to be our go-to anytime we have a hankering for one HOWEVER something worth mentioning in current times is the cost which is getting increasingly steep. Our most recent visit cost over £32 for a burger, large fries, hotdog and two drinks.... The food itself is absolutely delicious, every bite is just fantastic but the cost dare I say it is a tad ridiculous for at the end of the day fast food.

Avg Five Guys experience which lucky for them is pretty darn good. Only complaint is my cheese could have been a little more melted. Upstairs has a great view as well.

Fries that weren’t done, raw in the middle and bland taste. Burger was alright but unseasoned meat. The toppings where quite fresh and what to expect. But the soggy bun )like it was dipped in water) ruined the burger totally. The staff was average. Felt expensive when the quality was so bad. I felt very unsatisfied when I left. Great place, clean and great staff. Over £16 for a bacon burger & chips. The chips were lovely, but the burger was underwhelming. Nice flavour from the patties, but verging on the dry/over cooked side, not a lot of bacon and the cheese wasn’t the quality I would expect from a burger of that price. First time in a five guys in years - I’ll stick to Smash Burger.

Friendliest service ever from the guy who took our order. We’d never been here before and he explained how to order and was super friendly and helpful. Didn’t try to get us to pay for bottled water he gave us the tap water which is obviously free and told us about the free peanuts too! Food came super fast. Was sooo delicious and fresh. Really good quality. Inside was clean too including toilets.

Shockingly bad experience. I've read a lot about how "wonderful and tasty" the burgers and the fries are... For a start £10.45 for a single cheeseburger...just the burger. After you get the fries and the drink you are looking at £20 quid for a burger 🤣🤣🤣 Let me just say that you can get Angus stake burger at St James centre for £9 quid... enough said 😎

Ne trouvant pas de restaurant pouvant accepter notre groupe le soir de Ecosse-France nous avons fini par aller diner au Five Guys car en France nous aimons bien cette chaine mais là ce n'était pas terrible. La viande avait une drole d'odeur (heureusement pas de malade) et le restaurant n'était pas super propre

19 min pour avoir nos 2 burgers... C'est une usine qui superpose les steaks avec les options que l'on demande mais tout ça n'apporte rien du tout, il n'y a pas de sauce, pas de liant, pas de goût... Au final 35 livres à 2, c'est plus cher que dans les pubs et surtout beaucoup moins bon

Was here a few years ago and 5 guys for me is always worth that extra bit of cash. Far superior quality of burger and hot dog than other fast food restaurants and the fries are amazing. Definitely will be back later in the year

I don't typically go to "fast food" chains while on vacation, but if you want a good meal for relatively cheap (cheaper than other burger places around), go here. The staff were very nice and one of them remembered me (I went twice because I couldn't stop thinking about the spicy fries).

Although a notch above the chains. **Response to Five Guys:- There is no more quality in your ingredients as there are in the other Chains. Please do not justify your pricing on Power words like Quality and Freshly prepared. All customers expect freshly prepared and quality. This does not mean overpricing Mr Manager. The truth is you wish your customers to pay your staffs wages. The reality is we only wish to eat well and affordably and not be ripped off with £5.50 milkshakes or over £4.00 fries. Something to pass on to your President.
