The lady who took our order for pizza was not pleasant at all. She was grumpy and unwelcoming. Pizza itself was not even average. The dough didn't seem to be fresh. Definitely don't recommend.

Food is incredible and delivery extremely fast. The next best curry in Edinburgh is not even close to Kasbah quality. Unfortunately, items are almost always missing from my order.

20 years going here, sure there's finer...but kasbah doesn't change and doesn't dip in what it does. It's a solid option, almost an Edinburgh institution. May it never change.

excellent food, best veg pasanda I've ever had but don't like that red sauce for the pakora which is just chile that rips your face off so you cant taste the rest of the meal. I made my own dip for the pakora with some creamy creme fraiche.

Food wasn’t delivered customised like I paid for, but the restaurant was quick to resolve for us.

Great range covering all the expected dishes. Very friendly and the prices are good for the city centre despite having gone up recently. They recently moved to a larger unit with a bit more seating. I'd normally say 4 stars but most recent meal was far too heavily salted and a bit much oil - a shame because they're usually fine. I'll still try again and hopefully it was a one-off.

The vegetable jalfrezi curry that was delivered smelled and tasted off. When the restaurant sent a replacement which was very late the delivery person was extremely rude. He said "quickly return the stale curry, I don't have time to wait". They not only spoilt our dinner, they did not have the courtesy to be sorry for that! I don't think I will ever order from Kasbah again.

Extremely disappointed as we had been recommended to try this takeaway by a friend. Starters : ALL Chicken pieces were chewy & quite rubbery textured! Saag Aloo had THREE small potato pieces hidden amongst a whole tub of very bitter spinach! Mains : No identification on either tubs as to which main was which but when opened up one of the meals looked very confusing, a white milky runny sauce in which a few chunks of chicken swam in it. No taste at all. Very Bland. Assumed it was meant to be the Butter Chicken. The other, assumed to be chicken tikka masala, was also bland with no taste. Again the Chicken in both mains was overcooked with a dry chewy texture. Poppadum's were tasteless also! Only slightly edible items were the rice and naan! Our entire food order bar the few spoonfuls we tried have now been binned.

Food is impeccable as allways. Cant recommend enough.

I ordered food at 7.30pm on a Tuesday evening and was told it would arrive in 40 minutes. However, I called at 8.40 and was told it would take another 30 minutes as the driver was off today. This isn't the first time this has happened, usually the food is excellent but lack of staff, poor service on a regular basis!

Normally the food is hot and all there, today for some reason it wasn't, order was short of 2 naans and food was warm.

Always been brilliant but I usually collect my food but this time decided to get it delivered and it was here piping hot 5 minutes before estimated time

Wow! I ordered the food around 5pm and did not expect it to arrive on time esp that I'm 20 mins away and it was rush hour. The Delivery driver arrived EXACTLY on time and he was very friendly. The food was piping hot, the wedges & pakoras were still crispy. The naan was cooked perfectly and the curry tasted home made. The chilli sauce is nice & spicy. Excellent service & good food. Thank you :)

Overall it wasn't a terrible experience, but nonetheless I don't see why I'd ever use them again how many other options there are. Collection was 8 mins late and my wife's veg curry appeared to be just frozen veg in the sauce, though my chicken curry was ok (though not amazing).

After a canceled booking at another restaurant we were recommended this one by a nice taxi driver and was the best food of the weekend

I have been a few times as I live above the takeaway, always the best food and ready really quickly. The staff are exceptional, with one member even offering us his car in order to help us move flats! Really recommend the Sabzi Mango Daal, it is delicious.

Pepperoni and chicken pizza. Barely any pepperoni nor chicken was mainly plain cheese and some green peppers. Little bit disappointed since I usually get my pizzas from here and are ok.

Ordered Bombay aloo and a veggie Kashmiri. Both were completely tasteless. No seasoning whatsoever. I’ve ordered food from here many times but the standard has gone down. Won’t be going back!

Our 16” pizza and 12” pizza toppings were mixed up. Food was very nice but not what we ordered.

Not sure what all the arguments are about pizza. ...from an Indian takeaway. Have stayed round the corner for 20 years plus so I finally got to try out the Kasbah! Sorry for all you pizza fans , I ate Indian! And veggie!! A delicious mixed vegetable and mango curry with a really thick tasty Tarka Dhal and really excellent mushroom rice. Quantity? Easily enough for two people. Price; extremely low. Service; very friendly indeed. Will be back.

The food here is always tasty and good but why is it every time I order a pizza it’s always dry and burnt. Great disappointment as this pizza just went into the bin. There pizzas always come burnt unless you ask them not to over cook it. But this time I forgot to ask and I got this burnt chicken tuna pizza. Was not happy at all!

Just awful! This is the place to go if you want food poisoning! After having a take-away pizza I have been up all night being sick. Will definitely steer clear of this place in the future!

Great food! Really slow delivery

Sunday night and nothing to eat at home. I decided to go to this place that is near my flat in marchmont road. The menu offer a good choice of pizzas and I went for a 4 seasons. I really liked it and as an Italian that means the pizza was really good! Staf people fast and gentle.

Having ordered from this takeaway before, didn't think twice about ordering from here again but it will definitely be my last time. Not only was the food over an hour late, I had to walk to where the delivery driver was rather than him come to us. And only to find the pizza was soggy and chips barely cooked to the point we had to make our own. So we waited around so long for soggy pizza. Very disappointed.

Always very inconsistent in quality which is a shame as when it's good, it's good. A case of too many chefs maybe? On this occasion, none of the food was seasoned properly. Tasteless and disappointing. On other occasions, excellent and great value for money.

Found this place while staying on Marchmont street. Very good Indian and good pizza. Quick, easy, and tasty.

Had 2 bite of the Chicken Bhuna, and didnt like it at all. Chicken didnt taste right to me. However delivery time was A+++ Rapid Service and customer service. Food - 1/5 Service - 10/10

We stayed in a vacation rental right next door and visited Kasbah on three different nights. The food (both the Indian and the Pizza) were always outstanding! Service was quick and we really enjoyed the people who worked there as well as all the customers who visited with us while we waited for our takeaway. This seems to be the place for the Cab drivers to take dinner because each time we went in it was full of laughter and people and quite a few cabs lined up outside! The prices were also very good. Loved it!

Very good Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi and sides. Spicy onion portion was a bit on the small side. Will use again.

The food was cooked okay but didn't really taste of much. The butter chicken mostly just tasted of cream compared to others I've had that had more depth of flavour. Don't know if it was just this particular dish. Would consider trying something else next time.

I was frankly stunned as to the quality of the meal from this little takeaway. Subtle seasoning and great flavour. Highly recommended and really cheap..

We ordered our food via Just Eat apps. The delivery was super fast although when we ordered, the estimated delivery time is 60min and when the restaurant accepted the order they add another 30mins waiting time. Great portion of Lamb beriyani. And the Shish Kebab is very juicy serve with a large nan and salad. Please note that the marinated lamb cube for the Shish Kebab is a bit spicy but you can balance the spiciness with the salad and the garlic sauce. Overall, great food for a reasonable price.

20min late after initial delay of 30min, samosa are frozen and fried (probably shazan) not freshly made as you would expect for £2.45, seekh kebab are tasteless, no herbs or spices. Only good thing was naan but even that was soggy! All in all a bit of a disappointment.... Oh: Pizza hmmm ok!

Pretty rubbish food. The worst dupiaza that I've ever had in my life, the pakora looked and tasted like they were from a supermarket and heated up in a microwave and the naan was soggy.

Very speedy delivery - 28 mins! Food hot and delicious. Wish I had some salad with my chicken pakora though, sometimes they send it, other times they don't. Some consistency would be nice. Other than that minor criticism, everything is great.
