Ordered a take away, was probably one of the best pizza I have had in a long time. Was made to perfection with fully loaded toppings and cheese, would try it again and again.

This pizza business deserves my review. First of all, eversince, I tried they pizza for the first time, I never bought another one from anywhere else within my area, it's just super delicious. To be honest even if they would ever mess it up once, I'd contact them first and try to reason with them before even considering negative review. I once visited place inside, and both the delivery guy at the time and the person inside seemed really nice people as well. So 5 stars and if I could I would give 10.

Friendly shopkeeper. A busy shop at weekends so the wait times specified were to the minute - a good chance to have a look around Colington. Lamb Kofta Kebab was superb.

Great place. Chips freshly fried while I was waiting. Excellent customer service. Great taste. Perfectly crispy outside. Go there!

A soft dough like base! had not been cooked in a proper pizza oven to crisp the base... it's a shame because I ordered before and it was good.

Very disappointed. Waited an hour and a half for delivery. Received Diet Coke instead of full fat coke. Pizza was average, not worth the wait. Will not be ordering again

Great Pizza very nice indeed and very juicy not like some pizzas bland this was just right and the staff and owner are very pleasant and welcoming and cheerful I would recommend this place to everyone

Excellent service. Called and can pick up in 10 mins usually. Usually have a pizza and chips. No car park but usually plenty of parking in the village at the times I go which is dinner. Never had any problems with this place

Happy to say it's a lot better now with new owners! Old review: More like "bread connection". Not even one salami slice for each piece. Hardly any cheese, uncooked thick dough. Rather have a frozen pizza from Tesco.

Brilliant pizzas and fantastic staff. I'm fortunate enough to live in Colinton Village and I get to use this place regularly. The pizzas are always really well made and even the chips are to die for. The staff are a real asset - friendly, good chat and thoroughly nice people. I would (and do) continue to get food from this establishment and I recommend you do too!

Good pizza, reasonably priced. Nothing special but nothing to complain about. Would definitely go here again for short notice dinners.

Genuinely the best pizza in Edinburgh. Try the tuna delight, the best bar none. To top it off a pizza is about £7 for a large 12”. Death to dominoes.

Advertising that they are open until 10.30pm. Went into the shop at 19.40 and was told that they are closed. I have used this place for years but never again!!!

Absolutely Brilliant! No hesitations about making this our main pizza place. Pizzas are well cooked, there's a great variety of options and the Meat Feast (with extra meatballs) is just perfect. It actually manages to taste just as delicious after a night in the fridge. Yess! Lovely staff and a nice place to visit. This has new management and superb standards.

Ordered two 12” pizzas and a portion of chips and it was ready super fast. Absolutely superb pizza! The guy is really cheerful too. Will defo defo back!

First delivery from Pizza Connection. Never realised that we had this one right in the village. We used JustEat. Very very quick delivery (15 minutes from order 😍). Both pizzas were very tasty and generous. Very good price as well - less than £13 for two 12-inch pizzas. Very happily surprised. We’ll order again soon for sure. Thank you 🍕

I’m a visitor in UK and was looking for a good pizza place everyday (literally) for last couple of weeks all over London and Edinburgh. Found this place and this is THE best pizza I was craving for all my stay here. To tell how good the pizza was, here’s an image of a 12 inch pizza we (two people) picked up 30 secs ago (yes even when it was damn hot!!) 😍😍

If you can't be bothered reading a full review: The new owner has really turned things around, the pizza is excellent and very cheap! Disregard reviews from before August 2019 as they are from an old owner. If you can be bothered reading a full review: It's a shame to see this get so little business: the staff are friendly and a pleasure to talk to, the pizza was very tasty, there was an abundance of quality toppings, the bread was fluffy and perfectly cooked, and everything in the shop was very clean and well kept. If I really scrutinise for little details, I can make small complaints about: slightly too much sauce (I have only had one pizza so far so this may have been a one-off), a couple of the pepperonis were a little burnt, and the pizza could've done with turning around half-way through cooking (although it still turned out delicious!). That's all I can think of when it comes to bad things! Overall, it's worth more than the £7 it cost me to get a 12" pepperoni pizza and you should absolutely give it a try if you haven't already. I will certainly be having more pizzas from here in the future!

NEW OWNERSHIP NOW! [Since August 2019] We used to order pizza from the previous owner and towards the end he really went downhill. If you ever saw the state the shop was in before, you'll know it's a shock that anyone cooked food there. It's so much cleaner now under the new owner and his pizzas are incredible. Very happy to have a much better Pizza Connection back up and running. We definitely needed one here in Colinton.

Pizza Connection, Bridge Road, Colinton, Edinburgh. This takeaway went under new management a month ago and is absolutely brilliant. The staff are fantastic, polite, smiley and you feel there is indeed, a real connection with the customer. The premises are spotless and the food is out of this world - really tasty and freshly made. They have other items on their menu like fish and chips etc. They are starting a delivery service. Please support them. Marion Marshall

My wife and I were regular users under the old management and we were sad to see this place close. It appears to be under new management and has re-opened. We got two ten inch pizzas tonight and two portions of chips. Service was polite, friendly and quick. Prices were good. Pizzas were very well presented and tasted excellent. Toppings were great. Chips were perfectly cooked. The place now looks very clean and very well run. We loved this place before and now I’m delighted to say that it looks like we will be enjoying many pizzas from the new version!

Just found out that Pizza Connection is opening this coming weekend 23.08.19 after being closed for a very long time, cannot wait. Met the new owner today, lots of catering experience, so should be a good addition to Colinton eateries!

They advertise 45-60 mins delivery time, but the second we confirmed our order, it became an hour and 10 minutes! And then they delivered after an hour and 20! Also, they had substituted mushrooms for garlic - because they're the same?!

Ordered two pizzas tonight, one hot and spicy and one pepperoni. The pepperoni on the second pizza came near enough uncooked. Clearly they had accidentally made a margarita and then added pepperoni after. so disappointed🙂

Phoned order at 5.40pm, no delivery at 7.00pm, phoned again to determine why the delay? Told "we are very busy, try Dominos!!!" Avoid!!! They are a shambles!!!!

Said it was delivered when it was still in the shop. Pizza turned up burnt with new cheese on the top and pasta was stone cold.

Ordered 2 pizzas and carbonara. One pizza was extremely dry and lacking enough cheese and sauce, the 2nd pizza similar and the salami was burnt along with the pizza, the carbonara turned up cold and sauce all firm so was inedible. For 28 quid a waste of money and a 2 pound farmfoods pizza would beat here any day. Don't waste your money

Pizza connection is the best pizza place in the world! It is my favourite place to get pizza. It is incredibly tasty and such a reasonable price. Its half the price of other pizza places and tastes lovely so fresh!

Order a pepperoni family pizza and got 7 pepperoni on it. The pizza was like eating gummy. It was cold too.

£4 for a portion of veg pakora containing the sum total of four pieces of pakora of standard size. A pound per piece. Rip off.

Viene con una variedad de deliciosos productos, coberturas y un maravilloso, prácticamente "súper tamaño" opción --que no podía caber en mi a calentar! Estoy asombrado incluso tuvimos mucho para calentar para empezar- más tbh-ordenados, no nos dimos cuenta de la generosidad de los cuadros! Pero, sinceramente, este era verdaderamente una de las mejores pizzas que he probado en mi vida, y soy de Nueva York!

Food was delivered hot and fresh - and was really good. Delivery driver was friendly, however delivery time was a letdown tonight. It was not a big order and we're not too far from shop, bit of a disappointment to wait almost two hours for food!

Chips came half empty. Pakora was burnt. Pakora and onion rings came smushed on top of pizza. Called to complain and was HUNG UP ON!!!! Shocking service and terrible food - will never use again, waste of money!

This was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Stodgy thick undercooked dough with burnt cheese on top. Abysmal. One to avoid.

The food was very late. When it arrived the driver gave me the pizza and before I looked up he was driving off in his car. As I was paying cash I found this astonishing. Later the restaurant phoned to inform me that my order was a cash order and that I had not paid them. Their attitude was accusatory and confrontational. I did not appreciate this attitude as the driver never gave me a chance to pay him and should have been aware that the order was a cash order. Given the bad attitude and incompetence of the restaurant I will not be ordering from them again. The food was average at best.

Been a regular for approx 14 years and it’s always been amazing!! ETA was 1855, then changed to 1900, pizzas turned up at 1815!!!! YAAAAAAS!!!!!!!

we ordered a Pizza just after 9pm and the order time was 45mins - 1hr. after confirming the order and paying the delivery time changed to 1hr 20mins and due at 10.25pm - the order never came!!! the restaurant closes at 10.30pm and no one is picking up the phone! we have now been left with no food and too late to order from anywhere else! not happy at all

it was hot and on time but the pizza sauce was not nice at all, not a big fan of doughy pizza bases either. Took one bite and chucked the rest, my kids wouldn't even eat it and that's saying something. Shame, as i had high hopes for this place

None of my ordered kebab meat on pizza none of my ordered sweetcorn on pizza Carbonara that tasted of flour water and cheap meat. This place when first opened used to be great, last three times there's been an issue with my order, this was your last chance. no thanks, not recommended.

We ordered a munchie box with 12 inch pepperoni and donner meat. The pizza never had any donner meat on it atall and we were supposed to get onion rings and never got any of them either

I was recommended by a friend but I wasn't impressed at all. The pizza was thicker than I expected and not thin in the slightest while the tomato sauce base wasn't great
