We discovered this cafe by chance on our way to Loch Lomond. It is small and intimate and spotlessly clean. We only had a toastie and cake but the quality of the food was excellent and service was warm and friendly. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Had very good soup with a hot well filled roll. We had good coffee and tea, served in a proper tea cup and saucer. Great value and great staff. Well worth a visit.

Great to see this traditional village pub come back to life. Quiz in the bar last night which looked like great fun, often has live music, lovely food at really reasonable prices. Will be going back again.

Would give 2.5 if i could! Live in Balfron for couple years - the food is good if you need a quick working lunch etc but it's more like a greggs quality and selection wise, the outside looks a little like it might be special/artisan etc but it's basically morning rolls and lunches like sausage roll and chips etc. Everything I got was always ok, get what you pay for. Staff were often chatting to each other rather than chatting to you.

Fabuloso. No sabía qué esperar, pero era un cumpleaños familiar de alguien que era miembro. La comida y el ambiente era excelente. Normalmente no soy fan de los filetes, pero pedí el plato principal de surf y césped y el filete estaba tan tierno y todo el plato era excelente. Un montón de gambas de buen tamaño y sabrosa verdura. One staff member showed unnecessarily rude behaviour rushing me out with my dog. Completely over the top response let us down in what is otherwise a delightful wee cafe.

Excellent cheeseburgers. Great service and the girls were very friendly. We also ordered a steak pie for new years day and I can say it's the best steak pie we've ever had. Will eefinately be back its a lovely place.

Nos detuvimos en el bistro para pedir direcciones a nuestro b&b. Nos quedamos impresionados por la bienvenida al joven en el mostrador, así que decidimos volver más tarde para la cena. Muy contento de haberlo hecho ya que nuestras comidas deliciosas. recién preparado, casa y comida. Mi marido especialmente disfrutó su pollo asado con black pudding y el pegajosa pudding toffees era encantador. Este fue un final estupendo para viajes de un día. Gracias

Excelente comida, excelente servicio. Preciosas vistas de las colinas. Vale la pena visitarlo. Está situado dentro de un gran centro de jardinería también, con una buena tienda de regalos.

Bought a baguette here for lunch on the west highland way. Quality of sandwich was great and staff friendly and efficient.

loved the scenery, loved the food, staff were excellant, and they had a great sense of humour, sitting at the log fire in entrance late at night was very relaxing.

Absolutely outstanding. Lovely welcome. Place clean and tidy. Barlady happy and chirpy. Logburner fire, place was lovely and warm Husband had the pie. They're handmade and full to the brim. Best pie he's ever had (his words). I had Balmoral chicken which was delicious. Cocktails made from scratch so of course I had a cosmopolitan... Perfect :-) No room for pudding...! Do we recommend the place, absolutely 💯
