Great steak night as usual, with my dad and the team are as wonderful as before. Great to visit while on my downtime. Steak on sizzle board what more do you want

We enjoyed a great value lunch in lovely surroundings. The service was excellent and very friendly and we will certainly return.

Came for the pizza night as we we’re staying at the holiday park nearby, was absolutely delicious and the staff were so friendly, also drinks were so cheap compared to the holiday park and so much more choice, 5 stars all round.

Tengo 63 años y tengo una enfermedad grave en el pecho. Inmediatamente después de entrar, una mesera muy desagradable y grosera me abordó y me preguntó dónde estaba mi máscara. Le respondí que no tenía uno porque estaba exento por motivos médicos. Ella exigió ver una carta de mi médico detallando mi condición médica. Todo esto tuvo lugar en presencia de un grupo de lugareños que esperaban sus comidas para llevar a la hora del almuerzo. Nunca me había sentido tan despreciado o humillado en toda mi vida. No podía creer que esto estuviera sucediendo realmente. Le expliqué que no tenía carta y que no creía que la legislación me obligara a revelar mi historial médico a un servidor de café. Con increíblemente mala gracia accedió a servirme. Tuve que quedarme de brazos cruzados durante años mientras se hacía el brindis, y los lugareños que habían presenciado el intercambio y que sin duda pensaban que yo estaba trayendo el temido virus a su pequeña aldea me miraban y me miraban mal. Si no quieren visitantes de fuera de su comunidad, deben indicarlo claramente en un aviso externo. Muy hospitalario y distópico. Francamente, este lugar debería cerrarse.

Mi esposa y yo somos visitantes frecuentes a la hora del almuerzo en este club y nunca nos ha decepcionado. El menú es sabroso y extremadamente variado y, en el caso de requisitos especiales, la cocina siempre parece ofrecer una alternativa apetitosa a la tarifa regular. El personal es muy amable, servicial y atento y son realmente acogedores. Supongo que por eso seguimos regresando. No te pierdas las sopas, son sensacionales.

Found this whilst out walking. Serve good tasty food at very reasonable prices. Staff exceedingly helopful and friendly. You can get a drink here also and compared to local inn wa=ould say much better.

We passed with our camper. Magnificient reception by the staff! They prepared us super food! Ask whatever you can imagine. They will do their best to prepare or arrange it for you. F.ex. Trout ;-) The drinks and food are not expensive at all. The place was that evening almost full booked and with reason! What a team! Most gratefull we gave a good tip!

Had a fantastic night on Friday for my sons birthday. Brenda and her team were fantastic and catered to our particular needs. The staff were attentive and courteous and the food was amazing especially the steaks. Can’t recommend the Friday steak night enough. A big thanks to everyone.

A superb place to have a Steak Night , the food is excellent and well presented, the chef and staff are professionals to all intents and purposes ... attentive , friendly , atmospheric and engaging ... well worth the visit but DO book in advance ... and not expensive for what you get . 100% every time

Food and service excellent definitely go back 😁😁 but would go back at night the next time to sample that menu

First impressions were positive and we looked forward to sampling some of the delicious looking cakes on display with some teas and coffees. However before we could even get our order, our children (7+1) who were happily playing together with me on the carpet in front of the lovely Christmas tree with some sugar sachets were given a sharp instruction from a member of staff - who later turned out to be the manager- to tidy them up and who literally stood over them until my 7yr old bashfully gathered them up and, mortified, sat up and immediately felt chastised. What an abrupt and rude attitude to potential customers over something so trivial and needless to say having to be made to feel most unwelcome, we cancelled our order - not feeling comfortable to stay. Even on trying to raise our feelings with the manager, we were met with eye rolls, an argumentative and dismissive attitude and it certainly cemented our impression of poor customer relations and ensured neither us, nor our friends who were supposed to be joining us, will ever be back.

Had a fab lunch today with family in what seemed to be a very busy rugby day. It was very cozy and all decorated for Xmas, we were served quickly by very friendly staff and can’t recommend highly enough the home made soup , cakes were fab too and catered for gluten free, the kids had a great time and staff kindly provided toys to keep them entertained with was a welcomed change from some establishments which make you feel unwelcome. Will definitely be back

We popped in To have. Look.gbete is a indoor bowls green.the bar is very comfortable and the prices reasonable.

Had a lovely meal with family. Were there on a Friday, traditionally steak night however there was still a great choice in the menu. Our group had steak, scampi, fish and chips. All delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable surroundings. Highly recommended.

As a group we lunch here frequently. Good menu and kind service. I enjoy the baked potatoes.My friends always enjoy the home baking.

Went for a meal here for a firefighting colleague's 50th birthday.The meal was first class and the staff were welcoming and efficient.Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends.We'll be back!

Nice friendly place to go for midweek snack at lunchtime. No need to be a member provided you do not want alcohol. Limited groceries and newspapers available within the Club. If you want a really good evening meal book for THE steak night on Fridays.

We went for steak dinner on a Friday night. The steak was fabulous, the rest of the dinner was absolutely well worth mentioning

Fue en el club para jugar en contra de las mujeres locales en un concurso de bolos. Fue alrededor de las 1:00 pm un sábado por la tarde. Que había sido varios años desde mi última visita y el cambio en el entorno fue inesperado. Sólo tuve un sándwich y té, pero otros miembros de mi equipo, 16 en todas tenía varios comida del menú variado, y también algunos preciosa casa para hornear. Todos estaban contentos con sus elecciones. El restaurante y el bar era bastante animado con la gente de ver deportes en la televisión. Mi hijo había sido a principios de año, durante el verano y también habíamos disfrutado de una comida maravillosa. En general, una agradable, lugar razonable para nos una comida. Incluso mejor por un personal muy amable.

Como bolos cuando tenemos un viernes por la noche nos reserva con anticipación para asegurar una mesa en la noche del viernes. Brenda y su personal es muy eficiente y los filetes se deshacen en la boca. Brenda a veces tiene un Domingo Té. Teníamos este por primera vez. El té de pescado era de primera clase. Los pasteles deliciosos.

Este es un lugar muy acogedor y la comida es de alto nivel. perfectamente cocinado y bien presentado. personal trabaja duro para hacer de su noche inolvidable. Ha sido un número de veces a la noche carne y nunca me ha decepcionado.

Stopped in here for lunch. Great food and home made soups and pastries. Also has a small grocery area for morning rolls and mils etc.

Dropped in for lunch before visiting a local hotel. Great wee place for a quick lunch. Great value for money. Excellent service and friendly staff. Try the soup and Sandwich - Delicious.

A mediodía pop en un agradable bar/restaurante que sirve un interior Bowling encantador. La comida era estupenda, el servicio es un poco confunden con el pedido, pero vale la pena la espera. Incluso tienen una pequeña zona de tiendas con artículos esenciales para la venta.

Regular visitors to Friday night sizzler. Last visit myself & one other had best T bone steaks ever tasted other meals were also first class as was service &atmosphere

Popped in here to check it out when we were out in Balfron. The staff were very friendly and the place is really nice. Had a couple of pints at the bar and just chilled out.

We are regular visitors for the Steak Sizzler night but often have the other delicious meals on the menu or the specials. Last visit we had scallops, king prawns and chorizo - a wonderful combination plus crusty bread to mop up the tasty sauce. Attentive staff and very fair prices. Mint chocolate cheesecake to follow -what more can one ask?

Went with my family, ordered a starter of Brie with redcurrant jelly and was very moreish. The main was sirloin steak, it came perfectly cooked. Unfortunately I was so full up I didn't have any room left for a dessert. Good food, helpful staff and served with a smile. Would definitely recommend going.

It was all happening - roadworks, new roof going on the building, heavy rain but we got there. Posh it is not, good value for money it certainly is. The soup and sandwich lunch is great. Coming over the hill from Kippen it's on the right (look for the rugby posts) just before the T-junction. Coming from Denny, over the Crow road from Lennoxtown or from Balfron, turn towards Kippen and it's on your left. Friday is the day the locals seem to gather.

You could have been forgiven for not noticing the building before they put up signage if you are a stranger passing through, once we found it we have been made very welcome by the really friendly and chatty staff at every visit. A special mention for Joyce. Delicious coffees and excellent lunch menu. Everything is very reasonably priced in this surprisingly pleasant bar/restaurant. Obviously to have an alcoholic drink one would need to be a member of the Sports Club but for anyone out for a drive in Carron Valley it is a great place to break off the journey. We wish we lived closer so that we could take advantage of their Friday steak night.

What a great lunch menu! We just love the soup and sanwich combo - and we have had every one listed on the menu! Very friendly and attentive staff, clean tables and a great wee lunch menu. Not so impressed with the "Friday Steak Nights" as I think the choice is poor and the food is poor value for money. Can absolutely recommend the lunch menu though!

Simple but adequate menu. Good food, great staff and everything nice and clean. We've had almost everything on the menu, over a period of time, and I can genuinely recommend it all!

We went with friends who had recommended the steak night. We were not disappointed. Superb food!! We will definitely be back.

The restaurant at Fintry Sports Club is open daily and provides snack lunches, etc. but is also open on Friday evenings as a 'steak night'.The lunch time menu is mainly 'soup and sandwiches' but if you want an alcoholic drink one has to be a member of the Club (Social £11 per year!) Well worth a visit.

Less than £20 quid for top class fillet steak friendly staff all diets catered for with a bit of notice this restaurant only operates one night A week and is a fantastic place to visit you will enjoy

Friday steak night, beer on tap, wine on chill, and probably the best fillet steak you will ever eat, it doesn't get much better than that, oh but it does, when you see the prices, big thanks to Brenda and all the staff, i'm addicted.

Have eaten twice now at Fintry Sports Club and have not been disappointed. The steak night on Friday is excellent value. There is a good choice of food, with chicken, fish and veggie options. The starters are substantial and filling. Bottle of Prosecco for £14. Book early as very popular on Friday nights. What more could you ask for at a village sports club?

It's hard to pick where to dine out in Fintry with an increasing number of good food establishments. But don't walk or drive past Fintry Sports Centre without giving it a go. It may not look to have the polish or pizazz of some of the other local eateries, but in terms of quality and price there's not much to fault. Delicious home made soups, sandwiches, fresh salads and home baking are on the menu daily. Thoroughly enjoyed my bacon baguette and latte on the patio in the sunshine this morning. Speaking to some of the locals, the Fri night steak night gets a good rep too. All the more reason (as if I needed it) to return. Fintry Sports Centre gets my vote!

I have had the pleasure of dining at this small restaurant on 2 occasions. I would heartily reccommend it to anyone who enjoys good fresh food, served by friendly staff in very pleasant surroundings. There is a good range of dishes on the menu - I had the butterfly prawn starter both times, it was SO good!! My niece, training for the Edinburgh marathon, was on a high carb diet - a word with the waitress was all that was required and her meal was adapted to suit. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food is excellent. I look forward to my next visit.

After having recently been for a meal at the Fintry Sports Centre's new Steak night, I can safely say I have no complaints! On arrival was greeted by friendly members of staff, and was quickly seated. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed three courses, in particular the Butterfly King prawns, and the wonderfully presented sizzling sirloin steaks (Which were extremely well priced!) Can't argue that £14.50 is too expensive for an Aberdeen Angus sirloin, accompanied by a generous helping of chips, potatoes and vegetables. Service was quick, and helpful. Have already booked for the whole family to go in a few weeks time, having seen that children's meal deals are available, and that it is a welcoming and friendly environment.

Hugely overpriced Steak Night and no provision made for those with special dietary requirements. Very disappointed. Would not go again - especially when other establishments in Fintry make huge and amazing efforts to cater for all diets.
