This place is a wee hidden gem. Food was outstanding. Cafe is very clean and tidy and the staff were all lovely and efficient

My husband and I went for lunch. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. Today's soup was delicious and the bread that came with it was soft and nice. I like that the sandwich comes with vegetables. It's not close to Stirling Castle, but if you're traveling on your own, you won't regret coming and eating there. It’s a local restaurant~^^ We are Korean

If it caught me closer, I would be a regular customer of this wonderful place, hahaha. Spectacular coffee, exquisite desserts and unbeatable service. Very good! I recommend 100%

What a find! One of the best cooked vegan brekkies I've had. Something for everyone, and all lovely, fresh produce. It was so hard to choose from a great menu (with all tastes catered for), I'll have to come back.

We travelled via here from Aberfoyle to Uddingston. as it had gluten-free food availability. It was pet friendly, and we were told we had to sit outside with our pet... small dog... very disappointed and chose to take a takeaway... it was disappointing as it was a cold day. We had takeaway and ate in the car.... the food was lovely. Im sure they can be clearer about the pet rule! it did put a dampener on the end of our holiday...

Nathan is adorable and provides excellent customer service. On top of delicious food, it's also been my first visit to Stirling in a long time and thanks to him it's been a memorable return. I highly recommend Toasted to anyone! Well worth the visit.

It was amazing food and the staff were so friendly I got the breakfast sandwich (pictured) and it was brilliant The meatball ciabatta, the goats cheese and bacon toast melt, and the breakfast club were all great too

Really sweet staff and lovely vibe! The waiting time may take more than 10 minutes depending on the day, but once inside it's a really good experience. Their lunch options start from £8 and have things like sandwiches, foccacia, flatbreads, and even salads. However, their burgers only have beef option (except veg/vegan) so no chicken burgers unfortunately.

Food is always nice and freshly prepared! Always good to stop off at Toast for something to eat when in Stirling. The food is always freshly made and tasty.

After a 13 hour journey from Fareham in the very far south of England, I arrive in Stirling, starving, having been to Stirling several times before, I decided to head to my favourite cafe, Toast. The atmosphere is great, staff are friendly, food is good and good choice of food and drinks available. Keep up the good work, will definitely return next time I am in Stirling ❤️

The best cafe in Stirling by a country mile. The quality of food he is so good. The traditional breakfast is so generous and tasty. The french toast is some of the best I've ever had. A huge selection for meat and non meat eaters. Coffee is also excellent. I would warn you it can be very difficult to get a seat here at lunch time. Queues out the door!

Vegan breakfast very nice at £10.95. I ordered a Decaf tea with almond milk. The tea is in a mug and cost £3.95. The receipt appears to me to show Tea £2.85, plus Decaf £0.50 plus almond milk £0.60. Seems odd to me to add charges in upon basic tea charge, but food good.

Vegan breakfast is very filling, and quite a few vegetarian options. Much more options than we could find online. We'll be back to try the French toast.

Wonderful! There isn't anything NOT too like about this place: good food, comfortable surroundings, convenient for parking and super pleasant and efficient staff. This place was a joy. Whenever we are next in Stirling, Toast will always be a definite port of call. Thanks/Diolch. (Visited 30/08/23).

One of the best breakfasts that I've paid for, my wife and I really enjoyed it, no salty bacon, a real treat.

This cafe was recommended to our group by two locals. We were happy with the speed of service and fresh breakfast along with a friendly service.

My husband, son, daughter and I came for a late breakfast on July 19/23. It was very busy but we managed to get a table outside. We all had the traditional breakfast (10.75 pounds each). We also had Americano's, oat milk in a decaf and a latte. Staff were really friendly and the meals came promptly. We saw a few tables of cyclists. This looks like a popular, regular spot! Afterwards, we crossed the street and walked along the river, arriving at the Old Forth Road Bridge over the River Forth. For over 300 years, it provided the lowest crossing point of the Forth so had strategic importance. We then walked back on a hilly, wooded path to the Castle where we had parked.

I really don't understand all the 5 star reviews for this place. £10 for a small burnt omelette that was swimming in oil and tasteless. Menu OK but some items are way overpriced. Staff all standing around chatting whilst one woman was doing all the cooking, no wondery omelette was burnt. Also it wasn't warm today but 2embers of staff were dressed so inappropriate for work. One girls bum cheeks were on show her shorts were so short. Not what I wanted to look at when I'm sitting at breakfast. I'm not old and wear shorts but it's a work place and not professional at all. And to top it off I paid for something I didn't even eat! They took 10% off the bill because the omelette was revolting. Much better places to go for breakfast.

Amazing French toast (eggy bread). Well worth a visit. Don’t bother with the beefeater breakfast if you’re staying in the Premier Inn. Very friendly staff.

Brilliant breakfast. A million times nicer than the Beefeater attached to the Premier Inn. Their scrambled eggs breakfasts are awesome. The addition of fets adds a delightful saltiness and the bread etc. are all wonderfully fresh. Best place for brekkie in Stirling in my opinion.

What a lovely place. Went there for breakfast, was delicious although missed beans. A little unusual to serve English breakfast and not include beans, but it was still good.

Brilliant place for a quick bite and good coffee. The food was very rustic and well prepared. They were extremely busy when we arrived and we did have to wait 5 minutes to be seated but the staff were very attentive and got us seated at the first opportunity. I suppose a wee place is that busy it’s always a good sign. Really enjoyed our experience here

Dog friendly outside only. They do have seating with umbrellas in case of rain. Delicious food and very cheap. We considered getting seconds because of how tasty it was but we were too full after the first round. Fast and friendly service

Very lucky to get a seat. Latte, Tea, full breakfast and eggs on toast, £21.70. Excellent quality ingredients, cooked perfectly. Our server Claudia was lovely and attentive. Next time we are in the area, we will be back

A good place for brunch; after some initial confusion regarding menus, the staff took our child's nut allergy very seriously - including the manger (I think) getting personally involved with our menu choices - and we were well fed.

I had a delicious omelette here, the full breakfast my party ate fab, and the pancakes fluffy. Friendly welcome, dog friendly with a bowl of water for them, would recommend this place x excellent all round, would come again.

Came here for a spot of breakfast before we started our day. The place is small but absolutely rammed! We got a seat window and were promptly served. The breakfast was delicious and im envious of the chefs abilities as the eggs were done perfectly! I highly recommend here for a spot of breakfast!

What I love about a city break is finding these little hidden gems, not relying on the national chains. Toast is Stirling’s hidden gem. Friendly and attentive staff. Fresh ingredients, individually prepared, not microwaved-in-a-bag. Breakfast here was an absolute joy.

1st time visit, won’t be our last, prompt to offer seating and menu’s. Ordered focaccia and toasted sandwich, both well prepared. Small hiccup with order that was resolved quickly. Definitely value for money, certain to visit again when in the city.

Arrived 30 minutes before closing and ordered a takeaway gluten free chicken sandwich. This was delicious and I have to say the tastiest sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Thank you everybody. Very highly recommended, visiting from Yorkshire but next time I’m in Stirling I’ll be back for sure.

Saturday brunch. This is a bustling little place, well staffed, tables bussed promptly. I opted for the classic club sandwich on excellent brown, seeded toast. Couldn't fault it. My sister went for scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on the same toast. She had americano, no complaints. I had Earl Grey, which sadly, was a teabag floating in a mug but that's often the way nowadays but I am old lady and I miss my teapots. I did however get a generous chink of lemon so points back. All in all, reasons enough to return so we shall.

We were staying opposite at the premier inn so spotted Toast for breakfast. We arrived 5 mins after it opened and within 20 minutes it was totally full . Such lovely cheerful staff who greeted everyone when they walked in . Our breakfast was so yummy and presented so well . Lovely atmosphere 100% recommend and we will definitely return.

Breakfast was fantastic, although it didn’t come with beans lol, just make sure you ask for some if you want them. Scrambled eggs were light and flavourful, would definitely recommend. And they’re dog friendly too, you just need to sit outside so would bring one on a rainy day. Brilliant service, the staff were still very efficient even though it was extremely busy. Definitely a local favourite and i’m not surprised. Would definitely recommend to others 👍

Visited for breakfast on Saturday morning with friends. It was an extremely cold, wet and windy November morning and the door of the cafe was propped wide open. I asked a member of staff politely if she could close the door as I was freezing....

My husband had the large cooked breakfast and it was piping hot plentiful and tasty. I had the granola and it was huge and delicious. Service was good given the place was packed.

As well as an excellent and varied menu for meals Toast also has a great selection of home baking and I’m a dedicated coffee and cake person! I visit quite often and staff can usually find a seat for me and they have never yet...

Nice food but always busy and noisy. Also gets a bit cramped especially so now the covid measures like screens etc seem to have been removed (though staff still wear masks). Could easily fill a bigger unit as always busy.

Toast is a GEM of Stirling, would eat here everyday if I could! Staff are lovely & food is delicious! While they don’t take bookings, you are never waiting long for a table and have been excellent throughout covid times, keeping everyone safe! Lovely atmosphere always, can’t recommend enough for a yummy lunch/brunch!

This was our 1st visit to toast, firstly the service from the girls was amazing!! Friendly, attentive and so chatty. Total credit to Toast and owner please reward your staff! For a small place it was great service! Breakfast was very good and can't wait to visit again.

Situated right across the road from the Premier Inn Stirling city centre this little cafe served up a really lovely breakfast.Strong coffee & delicious granola with fresh fruit & honey set me up for the day. Whole range of other breakfast items to choose from and the price was very reasonable.Would definitely be back if I were in the area.

I was in for brunch with a friend and the staff working were just lovely! So friendly and fast at seating us, getting our orders and bringing our drinks. The food was grand too but the coffee....MY GOD it was amazing! So silky and perfectly made (oat latte)

Very popular little cafe by the Riverside with both indoor and outdoor seating. We were welcomed by a very attentive staff despite we had not booked in (which I suggest doing). Menu is very extensive, with vegetarian and vegan options aswell. Very satisfied with the quality of food; my granola had yougurt and fresh fruit on it, and the halloumi wrap with avocado was to die for. Prices within the norm.

My partner and I were down in Stirling for a wee City Break,had breakfast at this lovely place.He enjoyed his Omlette with Italian Sausage...I had the Champions Breakfast,wholemeal toast with two fried eggs topped with my avacado,chilli's and drizzled with honey..it was delicious.

Came here with a friend to order a take away lunch order for a group of 6. From the start we were treated like an inconvenience. When we told them we would like take away and gave them a list of 6 sandwiches (all of which were on their take away menu) the waitress stopped short of rolling her eyes. The cafe was busy so I understand that they may have been feeling the pressure slightly; having been in a hospitality job myself for years I understand that at times having a larger order can be stressful. However, there was no excuse for the way we were treated it was just rude and very disappointing, having heard good things previously. The waitress could not have been less impressed that we were there nor could she have huffed and puffed much more through her mask. We were both made to feel very awkward and unwelcome.The food was tasty enough but disappointing from value for money point of view. None of our group will be rushing back or recommending this place.

I have been going to toast for many years as both my daughters attended Stitling Uni, the food never disappoints, as a veggie my absolute favourite is the halloumi wrap.

Comimos aquí 3 veces durante nuestra estancia en el Premier Inn al otro lado de la calle. Es un pequeño hallazgo realmente encantador con asientos en el interior y en el exterior. Están configurados con pantallas de metacrilato móviles para ayudar a maximizar su espacio. El menú ofrece una deliciosa variedad de opciones para el desayuno y el almuerzo. Huevos en todas partes y rebanadas gigantes de tostadas para acompañar.

He visitado Toast varias veces desde que vivo en Stirling. Intento comer algo diferente cada vez y nunca me ha decepcionado en absoluto: ¡el extenso menú está lleno de excelentes opciones para todos!Tampoco me puedo quejar del café helado y de muchas leches alternativas para elegir. El personal es amable y atento también.¡En general, no puedo criticar a Toast en absoluto!

Waitress was arrogant and lacked customer service. We were told dont take mask off, till food and drink arrive. Only cafe in Scotland doing this. Food was nice,but wont be back as it's not a nice atmosphere

Solo comí tostadas francesas con yogur y fruta, ¡estaba tan delicioso que quería segundos!El café estaba muy bien organizado y el distanciamiento social y la desinfección parecían ser una prioridad para el personal.Las camareras que nos atendieron fueron excepcionalmente serviciales y muy alegres detrás de sus máscaras. Vine aquí para el brunch y pedí el desayuno de los campeones y solo me apetecieron las tostadas. No tenían plátano, así que cuando llegué les dije: ¿Tienen mantequilla de nueces en lugar de mermelada? Ella trajo mantequilla de maní. Café encantador y comida disfrutada. Cuando fui a pagar, descubrieron que me cobraron por la mantequilla de maní. . . . Literalmente tenía una cuchara de té llena. Lo cuestioné como lo hice en lugar de atascar. . . . Después de que la niña regresara y adelantara al gerente, finalmente se reembolsó. Suena una cosa pequeña, pero fue muy desagradable y debería haber sido dicho en un momento como muy avergonzado. ! !

Visité recientemente y aunque la comida era deliciosa como siempre, hubo cierta confusión en cuanto a cómo íbamos a sentarnos y ordenar. La mesera ágil explicó que si su jefe estuviera allí ese día, se habría metido en un "gran problema" debido a que mi grupo no entendía qué hacer. . . comida fabulosa, pero uno o dos letreros explicando las regulaciones, etc.no irían mal

Llegamos con una mesa reservada para 10. 15, llegamos 10 minutos tarde debido al tráfico. Cuando llegamos nos dijeron que solo teníamos 30 minutos para comer e irnos. Uno del grupo está exento de usar una máscara porque tiene EPOC y problemas de salud mental. Se le preguntó por qué no llevaba una máscara y explicó que estaba exenta de hacerlo. Poco después se nos acercó una rubia miembro del personal (¿seguro que era la directora Christina? Ella le dijo que “si estaba exenta de usar una máscara, debería hacerse un favor a sí misma y al resto de la sociedad y quedarse en casa”. Me quedé atónito de que ella incluso sugiriera tal cosa. Después de explicar más nuestra situación, ella continuó teniendo una muy mala actitud hacia nosotros y llamó mentirosa al miembro de nuestro grupo y debería “simplemente ponerse una máscara y dejar de quejarse como el resto de nosotros tenemos que hacerlo”.Esto hizo que mi amigo se sintiera muy molesto y con razón. Decidimos que nos conviene irnos.Un ambiente muy tóxico y un gerente muy grosero que parece que el poder se le subió a la cabeza. Aprecio el nivel de precaución previa que se debe tomar, pero bajo ninguna circunstancia esto es aceptable. Ella es una matona y todo su personal son sus títeres. No volveré y recomendaría encarecidamente a cualquiera que lo piense dos veces antes de darle su dinero a este establecimiento.

We visited with family and we’re pleased they were offering the 50% off to help out. Fantastic menu choice, very safe and adhering to all social distancing. Would have happily paid full price but definitely an added bonus. We will be back for sure!!

Me alojé en el hotel Premier Inn de enfrente, debido a covid no estaban haciendo un desayuno caliente, lo que resultó a nuestro favor. Toast tiene todo en su lugar para lidiar con covid, desinfectante de manos, pantallas, personal con máscaras y mesas exteriores, si lo prefiere. Todos tomamos un desayuno tradicional que estaba delicioso, mi amigo estaba contento ya que tenían una salchicha vegetariana que dijo que era encantadora. El personal y el servicio era tan bueno que volvimos al día siguiente.

Fui a desayunar con 4 de mis amigos para que me dijeran que solo podríamos estar allí por una hora ya que los amigos del jefe vienen y necesitan la mesa, lo cual es bastante justo. Luego nos mostraron la mesa y nos dijeron que mantuviéramos nuestras máscaras puestas hasta que llegara la comida, que no entiendo, pero lo que sea. Dos de nuestro grupo estaban exentos de usar una máscara, pero uno trató de usarla de todos modos, pero no del todo, por lo que su nariz no estaba cubierta. Una camarera se acercó y pidió que lo usaran correctamente, por lo que respondió que estaba exento. Después de sentarse a la mesa durante 2 minutos más y ser observado y señalado por el personal y lo que supongo que era el dueño detrás de la caja registradora, ella caminó una y otra vez, le preguntó por qué no llevaba una máscara. En este punto, podías sentir que su actitud hacia nosotros cambiaba, pero ella afirmaba que no quería causar una escena y luego continuó acusando a la persona de interés de mentir de tener asma en primer lugar y decir que no debería hacerlo. Ha estado usando uno para empezar cuando está exento. Después de que se lo quitara, ella dijo que si teníamos asma no deberíamos salir, en primer lugar, imagínese diciéndole eso a alguien que ha estado literalmente atrapado en la casa durante meses. Luego nos pidieron que nos fuéramos, lo que habríamos hecho de todos modos, ya que el servicio al cliente aquí por parte del propietario es absolutamente terrible. Qué gran ubicación, frente al hotel donde habíamos pasado la noche. . . muy popular entre los visitantes y los lugareños por todas las cuentas. ¡Se establecieron requisitos de prueba y rastreo y mucho desinfectante para manos! ! Todo el personal tenía máscaras o viseras y tuvimos que esperar muy poco en una cola para una mesa limpia afuera. Hacía buen tiempo y el servicio era fantástico. Los precios eran buenos y estaban muy felices de alternar opciones en el menú, ¡y cambiaron los precios en consecuencia! (Que fue encantador)Para variar, el menú infantil era bueno y abundante. . . ¡mi hijo decidió que Toast ganaría un premio de gachas! ! : -)El desayuno tradicional era tan sabroso y delicioso tocino espeso, sin duda lo recomendaría o volvería si usa el hotel nuevamente.

Es genial ver que la mejor escena en Stirling para el desayuno ahora está nuevamente en funcionamiento. Hay asientos disponibles tanto dentro como fuera, con amplios asientos al aire libre para grupos pequeños. Todavía tienen un gran menú para elegir con todas las ofertas habituales de alta calidad que esperaría.

We were really impressed how covid safety was taken into consideration and executed, no exceptions. The food was awesome and free parking on Sundays. Kids menu also available. Don't let the name 'Toast' fool you, the selection is very wide!

Toast is conveniently (for me) situated opposite the Premier Inn. It is in the building that houses the multi plex, Nando’s and a shake bar. It commands a great wee spot overlooking reclaimed land, the engine shed and views towards the east of the city and the train station bridge. The outside area would be nice in warmer weather as it’ll catch the summer sun. There is a god selection of breakfast options and the standard hot drinks. The traditional breakfast was freshly cooked, hot and good quality ingredients. The young girls serving and cooking were great, too. All told, a great breakfast stop on the edge of this classy, wee city.

Excellent food and service don’t miss out! Food is cooked to order. Fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Staff are friendly, helpful and polite. Everything is clean and well organised. We will definitely be back soon.
