This American LOVED the cheeseburger (so did my picky toddler!). Would strongly recommend.

Stopped here twice enroute to and from the Highlands. I was travelling with a friend who has food allergies and this was her choice of stop from previous experience. What can I say? We stopped there again. The food was top quality the restaurant was clean and the staff were incredibly helpful and polite. I was particularly impressed that they had a teenager working the kitchen and learning the trade. The top quality of the place is clear from the bustling trade. My one slight gripe is that the heavy trade does mean service can be a little slower but it's worth the wait absolutely.

Hearty portions with very friendly service. If you're in Tyndrum or passing by make sure to stop in. Vegan Options available, would recommend the tofish and chips.

Nice cafe with a lovely garden full of bird feeders. Service was great. We had fish and chips, scampi and chips and cheeseburger and chips. Food felt like a chip shop but was very nice. My partner loved the cheeseburger. They kindly gave my daughter a rice crispy cake for free. We enjoyed our visit, it was very family friendly.

What a reliable cafe - we come here on the way to Ardnamurchan every year and the food is always great. Good choice on the children's menu and amazing fish and chips and burgers! Also you could visit if you were walking the west highland way as it is very close. Definitely recommend.

Great place in Tyndrum for a meal, we did a stopover for lunch during our highlands tour, it is extremely popular and gets super crowded. We had to wait before we could get our table. One needs to order at the counter and then the server brings the food to the table. Super efficient service and some great food. They do have large vegetarian section as well.

Very nice food and aesthetics of the building. However the hostess/waitress had no ability of keeping track of who came in first as the place was busy. 2 separate groups of people were seated before us even though they arrived after us and when we asked the woman was quite hostile in response. So I'd say the seating was very mismanaged and hectic. The food is nice, hearty typical Scottish food, but nothing out the ordinary.

Very friendly and fast attention. We tried the burger and the fish and I have to highlight the fish because it was delicious.

A strange procedure where you get assigned a table but then you have to que at the till and get the food yourself. My espresso was dead cold, since they put it in a big cup not pre-heated. My girlfriend said her croissant was average (meaning average UK)

The fact we called in 3 times in 24 hours says it all..lunch , dinner and elevenses the following day says it all! Wonderful thoughtful menu all served up by interesting polite and helpful staff . We will be back.. again 👍

The food was amazing, very fresh, quick and friendly service. I has the salad with a battered fish. The salad was not the boring type it was so tasty with lots of flavour. I will totally recommend this eating place to all my friends and family.

The food was delicious. The fish and chips and Tandoori Chicken burger. Jasmine was the sweetest host. She is so friendly and polite. The only thing they can work on is letting customers know that the tarter sauce is supposed to be ordered separately.

We ate on the way to the Isle of Skye and it was very good. Very good attention from the staff, the atmosphere is cozy and the food is good. It's our first here and we didn't know where the prices were, maybe a little expensive but quite correct. The toilets are not perfect, but the midday shift has just passed and quite a few people have come. We leave happy with the treatment and well eaten.

Best place to stop good food and place

We stopped here on the way past for food and were really happy with it. The fries and haggis were amazing, and they had homemade mayo and BBQ sauce. The price was good and the staff were super friendly. It says dog friendly too (we ate in the car as it was raining). Very happy with food and if we are in the area we will eat here again for sure.

Great vegetarian options (even for fish & chips, haggis), very family friendly

The bacon and eggs rolls were very tasty and came pretty quickly. The cinnamon roll was a highlight - it was so fluffy and oozing with cinnamon sugar. The restaurant is also dog friendly which adds a layer of fun and cuteness to the spot.

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to have a bite to eat/breakfast first thing in the morning. We discovered The Real Food Cafe in Tyndrum which opened at 7.30am and served an excellent variety of food. The cheese scone that I ordered was among the best I have tasted and the service was excellent. We will be back!

Not a complaint more just for feedback. Was disappointed with my visit here. The portion sizes used to be generous however today when I received my order, it came in a small plastic bowl which didn’t hold much. Also, the curry sauce used to be very tasty and is now different and not as nice. My friend paid around £15 for a burger and chips and was also disappointed in the portion size.

Stopped for a coffee and an excellent fruit scone. Would highly recommend it.

The best fish and chips I have ever eaten! Fresh fish, fresh fries that are not greasy! A friendly welcome and fair price. Possibility of eating fresh fruit too. Little advice: don't forget to put the vinegar on your fries 😉 it's killer, too bad you can't easily find this vinegar in France.

Despite sitting in the middle table on my own in full view 25 minutes later no food, no explanation why not and the place wasn't even busy. Pretty poor. Ironically the place is plastered with awards the one that made me laugh was the "real fast food award" I think they are bathing in their own glory too much. I left in disgust as I had a deadline to meet. I won't be back.

Really good food and service! I had the spicy fish nuggets and they were amazing - perfect amount of spice, and the sauce added more. Husband had the fish and chips and thought they were good. Some gluten free options available that were good (went with a gluten free friend). Fish & chips do not come with mushy peas, so my husband was confused when he got charged separately when ordering them (his fault for not knowing). Also they charged for ketchup packets, but have a self serve ketchup, mayo, and barbecue sauce stand. They also had some baked goods that looked good, but did not try. Glad we stopped and would definitely come back for the spicy fish nuggets if we are in the area again!

Perfect place to stop on route into the Scottish Highlands. Food was great but be aware only breakfast menu served (orange section on menu) and no kids options available if you come in very early. Neither of the water taps outside for the dog wash areas were working and no dog treats available inside is the only reason it’s not 5!stars all around but those are very minor issues for an overall great stop.

Visited this wonderful cafe after our first night on our tour of NW Scotland. We were all ready for a hearty Scottish breakfast and we were not disappointed. Piping hot and generous amounts of everything including a mug of tea. Guy serving was very friendly...

As a wheelchair user I found the staff very helpful and friendly. I had a bacon roll and there was a good amount of bacon the roll. If we're going that way again I will definitely go back.

Lovely fresh haddock & chips with a nice light and crisp fish batter and well made chips. Only criticism is that it's quite unedifying to have your food served on a cheap plastic plate. The food slides about on it and it cheapens the experience.
