Beech Tree Cafe in Stirling

Can’t recommend highly enough!!!! I arrived this morning with my toddler and very hungry (crying) baby and the ladies couldn’t have done more to accommodate us! (And make me feel ok about the mess we left!!!!) The scones were also delicious!!! Will definitely be back!! (If they’ll have us!!!!!!)

Homely and welcoming. My wife and myself met our son and family to go to this delightful cafe.the fare was simple but delicious and was served by friendly staff with a smile 10/10

This got recommended to us by the Concierge at the hotel we stayed in. Popped in for a treat and it was just okay. We had the lentil soup - quite watery and not tasty. My little one wasn’t impressed! Also had a slice of banana bread and panini - both not too bad. The Mango Fruit cooler was great though! Found the prices a bit steep - £7.25 (?) for a panini

Best wee cafe around. Come every time I am in Dunblane. Fresh food. Good price. Nice atmosphere. Will always be back.

Another quick review to highlight the fantastic veggie breakfast I had this week in one of our favourite places to have a bit of brekkie or a tea and toast catch up with pals . All fresh and tasty, good veggie sausages and grilled tomatoes that were actually hot , not just spent a second on the heat like some breakfasts we've had elsewhere

Amazing selection of bakes and good menu. Coffee is lovely and Mocha superb! Sun is out and lovely view.

I/we visit here regularly for a quick takeaway and the service is friendly, fast and extremely tasty. Often phone my order in first and it's ready on arrival. Can highly recommend the shortbread and cupcakes. They also sell eco bamboo cups at the counter which are brilliant at keeping your drink hot for longer than the average reusable. It's a great place and happy to support a local business that's thrived for so long.

Popped in for a couple of breakfast rolls and a pot of tea for two.Rolls were delicious, best we have had for a while. Lovely service with a smile and upbeat atmosphere.Will stop by again and try their lunchtime menu and soup which all looked great.Great little place.

Treated my Mum to an Afternoon Tea here and will be back!! Beautiful homemade cakes, had to take some home they were so lovely!! The sandwiches were lovely and soft and filled to perfection! Would definitely recommend and we will be back!!

Such a great wee place, staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble! The Afternoon Tea is brilliant, the sandwiches are perfect finger sandwiches, scones are to die for, and the cake selection is mouthwatering-and so much that there was enough to have a doggy bag to take home!I would advise to book ahead, as it's a popular place-but the place to go to treat yourself for a day trip to Dunblane!

Lovely cakes , good choice of teas (even had latte coffee with soya milk! Made my husbands day!) And nice cosy atmosphere.

Lovely wee cafe with good variety of items on the menu. We only had a tea & coffee which was very nice, & had a great window seat watching the world go by. There were also lots of delicious looking cakes & treats but we were too full from our hotel breakfast. Would defo go back to try though.

Excellent food and coffee, very friendly staff worth a visit. Bacon, chicken and salad wrap 1st class loads of fillings.

We stopped here for a hot drink and a slice of cake just before 4pm on a chilly January afternoon. Despite it being the end of the day, we were greeted cheerily and well looked after. The Beech Tree Cafe is a really friendly little place and the Victoria sponge is delicious. Wish we could have been in Dunblane a few more afternoons to sample more of their homemade cakes.

Whilst visiting Scotland from England for half term, we stopped here for breakfast on a day we were visiting friends nearby and were treated to really wonderful food and service. The staff were friendly and more than happy to tailor the food to our requirements. Food was cooked fresh and was delicious. It was so good, we drove back specially two day’s later to have another breakfast before exploring the nearby Trossachs.

Nice little tearoom with real tea (tea leaves) and a good menu to chose from. We just had tea and cake which was very nice.

Small, less than friendly, no room for a stroller, small portions, quite poor. When we went to pay there was not “how was everything” not even a thank you

This is a lovely little café situated on the high street in Dunblane, just a short couple of minute walk from Andy Murray’s golden post box.

I went with a friend last week, such a nice cosy café, the display of cakes was so inviting. I have ordered a cappuccino and full Scottish breakfast, served with Stornoway black pudding and Lorne sausage, absolutely fantastic... Also, being Italian, I can say that the cappuccino was perfect. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be back.

We visited at lunch time and were impressed by the pleasant surroundings and friendly staff . However we had mixed reactions to the food . One baguette order was lovely and very enjoyable. They do have a problem with their toasties however . We received a squashed wafer thin cheese and ham toastie which was very disappointing to look at and also to eat . They maybe need to change their toastie machine

What a treasure of a cafe, great welcome when we arrived, lovely cakes and the tea was great too, well worth a visit.

We were warmly greeted and made to feel so welcome. Order was taken promptly. My coffee was delicious- one of the best lattes I have had. It was lovely and strong and hot though the lovely waitress told me just to tell her if it wasn’t warm enough. I opted for the veggie breakfast as it came with a potato scone, one of my favourites but everything else on the plate was, perfect too - scrambled eggs, veggie sausages, beans, tomato and mushrooms. My dinning companion went for the carnivores version and was not disappointed, making sure not one scrap was left on the plate. No frills here but very friendly and excellent service and the home baking looked delicious. We will definitely return.

Getting to Dunblane at around that time of day, the first thought is where to get a coffee. After a walk up and down the High Street, we decided the the Beech Tree looked a good bet. Well, so it was. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed our coffee in a pleasant and friendly environment. We were wondering whether to return for lunch but ran out of time having tarried longer in the Cathederal, Museum etc. than anticipated and needed to retrieve the car before the ticket expired!

Came for breakfast which is much better than the Hilton nearby.... Superb service, yummy food Had 3 full breakfasts all with slight differences to account for us being fussy! No problem and just age at time

Very friendly staff. this cafe is situated in the Waterside and I used it as a group meeting point. quick service with a wide selection of good food and cakes. Used by the local people and that tells you something.

Popped in because it had started to rain. Staff were friendly from the moment we arrived. Lots of high chairs and a basket full of books for kids (they know what they are doing)

It was with great surprise that we came a cross this little cafe in Dunblane. They had lots of 'V's for vegetarian on their menu but not many 'Vg' for vegan. But the staff couldn't be more helpful and adapted the breakfast to produce a plateful of loveliness. I even had vegan spread for my toast. the coffee was pretty tasty too

Great selection of gluten free food. Service excellent and staff really nice. Blankets supplied if you want to sit outside and it’s a little chilly.

Dropped into this little delight today for lunch. My friend had the potato and leek soup which she said was one of the best she's tried and I had a very tasty tuna and cheese panini with salad. The waitresses were helpful and friendly which made our visit better and will be back to this little gem again.

Hi can we have a white coffee and a tea with two scones, o we are out of scones at 11 o’clock on a Monday morning ok we shall have a cupcake and a piece of shortbread when the cup came for me tea it was so stained so asked for another not much better but she said yes they get stained ?.. o dear we won’t be back shame

This is a no frills cafe and coffee shop serving plain honest food. We stopped there for lunch and got a warm welcome from the staff. We ordered soup and toasted sandwiches, all were delicious and piping hot on a very cold day . Lots of local people came in coffee and a chat. The servers were polite and very knowledgeable about the area.

Called on our way south from Aviemore. Very good choice of food at lunch time, including several gluten-free options, and great coffee. Super friendly people and very clean. Well worth the short detour off the A9.

Visited yesterday with my mother after a fantastic walk lasting an hour. Parking at the Cathedral and walking North up the river we enjoyed some magnificent views and at times testing terrain for an 84 year old!

Staff were pleasant enough lunch was very average with no nice trimmings.Don’t know what all the hype was about for this place.I wouldn’t rush back.

This cafe is an example of a Scottish welcome. The staff are great, food lovely and we were impressed. Dunblane is a lovely place anyway so the Beech Tree cafe is a good place to pop in when in the area.

Staff very friendly. Amazing hot chocolate. Got an omelette it was nice but too much for me to eat. Great location waiting on train. Feels like a lovely town and community. Good window seats to watch world go by.

Lovely wee place. Serves lovely coffee, great ice creams, good options for kids, and nice simple lunch choices - cheese toasted, soup, baked potatoes..

The staff were lovely as was the location. Our table was wiped by a filthy cloth that left a terrible smell which spoiled our experience. We ordered flat whites- which are meant to be small strong white coffees but they were so weak. We were very disappointed . The Eton Mess was lovely but the smell put us off. Boil or replace your cloths and a bit of research into how to make cofffee

He visitado este café previamente y ha impresionado llamado en la semana pasada en nuestro camino a través de Dunblane. Teníamos bollos recién horneados frutas con mermelada y nata que eran deliciosas, incluso mejor que nos hicieron para nosotros. El personal es encantador y no podría haber sido más servicial. ¡volveremos!

The Beech Tree is ideal for a light lunch, morning coffee or afternoon tea. The home baking is delicious, as is the soup - I recommend the pea, herb and lettuce. Friendly service and a warm welcome awaits.

Lovely top value breakfast and great hospitality! We enjoyed the tasty veggie breakfast, full Scottish, scrambled eggs and a bacon roll. All very yummy and made to feel very welcome by the friendly owner.

First time I have visited and I was greeted with s warm and friendly lady, fast attentive service. I had the soup of the day as prompted from the board, it was delicious! The latte was a nice temp and a good strength, I followed up with a scone with jam and cream. They also cater for gluten free clients.I have enjoyed my wee break for lunch very pleasant indeed

Very well made cappuccino with correct ratios of coffee to milk to froth. Americano equally well made with a nice blend of coffee. Fruit scone with jam and cream - absolutely delicious! Friendly, smiley and efficient staff. We will be back!

Enjoyed previous visits to this cafe but called in last week for takeaway coffee and it was weak and tasteless. Maybe ok for regular coffee but won't be back for the decaffeinated!

Expensive for what it is. Food is nothing special, I can make better at home. Service was fast but there was no friendliness or warmth. Restaurant was freezing cold as they insisted on keeping the front door open the whole time!

Spending a lovely spring day in Dunblane so stopped off at our favourite wee tearoom. Quick service, nice coffee and home baking. I love the wee bitty tablet at the side of my cup! Delicious.

Visited Dunblane for a couple of days and had read previous reviews about the Beech Cafe and they are right great service fabulous sandwich, if ever in Dunblane again I will return.

Had a few hours to spend in Dublane rambling through its main street. Popped in to the Beech Tree for Coffee wonderful staff first class service great coffee and cakes are a must will be back

had booked a table here as I knew it would be busy, arrived at half past twelve, my sister had arrived really early but it wasnt a problem for her to take up a table and wait for me. I had a panini with chorizo and peppers which came with coleslaw, side salad and crisps, my sister had the beech tree salad which came with bread or pitta or oatcakes. food was lovely. then had apple cake, really tasty. service was great too. I will be going back again next month. Lovely cafe.

We are staying in Dunblane for a couple of days and on wandering down the street from the Cathedral on our first day we came across this lovely tea room at the bottom of the road. We only had a coffee on our first visit but on day 2 popped in again for a snack. I had a delicious scone with jam and cream and real tea. No teabags in the pot. Hubby had a toastie and coffee. The young lady serving was polite and friendly and although the tea room was busy our order arrived quickly. Definitely recommend this week place if you find yourself in Dunblane

I've been going to the Beech Tree since it opened. it's my favourite place in Dunblane for a relaxing lunch! I've been in on my own, with my son/family and in groups with other parents. always a warm welcome. have never had an issue with the food, it's always delicious! can also phone them and place an order to take away!

Best place to eat in Dunblane. Coffee excellent,staff all great. Try it for yourself. Seating outside, always a pleasure with good views and friendly people always walking by. Toilets always immaculate.

We stopped by for a light lunch the other day and were well impressed.The homemade soup-sweet potato and red pepper-in particular ,was to die for!! Lovely choice of bread to accompany was provided.Scones too were great.The cafe was exceptionally busy when we visited and it is not difficult to see why.Well worth a visit when in Dunblane.

I have been meeting with a colleague off and on here for years. We have always found the welcome from the staff and also the food to be of the highest quality.

Stopped in for a coffee today, had cappuccino & roll n sausage & friend had scrambled egg roll - very nice, it is what it is a small local cafe serving decent food at a reasonable cost. It's clean, service good, prices good. It's not Michelin star but it's good for what it is.The service is very good, the happy waitress is great, nothing too much trouble, cheery & service with a smile.

Saturday lunchtime very busy and the place is quite small. Good wholesome chunky vegetable soup but the cheese and pickle toastie was distinctly ordinary and felt meagre. The pickle was, in fact, chutney, although I didn't request it to be changed.

Had a great hot chocolate and cake. Very nice owner / staff - very attentive. Such a busy busy cafe - good value for money, worth a visit when in the area.

The Beech tree experience is consistent with friendly staff. It's not pretentious and sticks to simple, honest fare. It's been in Dunblane longer than other establishments and I think has really good coffee. Good for cakes or sandwiches at lunch

Soup and a sandwich or a stornoway black pudding roll with Lorne sausage or simply a coffee whatever your fancy this is a great pit stop!

A nice small cafe where the food is very fresh and well presented.Slightly pricey for cafe food but if the quality is consistent then probably worth it.

We stopped at the Beech Tree cafe on the way up to the Highlands. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.

Lovely cafe great BL and pot of tea perfect (real tea with strainer) We visit a few cafés with varying degrees of success, the girls were brilliant waited till we were seated and sorted then with military pincher movement took our orders. Food arrived all at the same time. When it came to paying nice and easy again one girl scoring out as she went no confusion, waterbottles topped up and we were off. Probably to their relief. This is one of our local cafes and we go in once a week for breakfast at least. The staff are always welcoming and we feel very comfortable there.Breakfast is cooked fresh to order and all the home baking is spot on. The tea is by the wee tea company and I think it's the best cuppa around !

This is a wonderful place for a breakfast, coffee and cake or lunch. The staff are lovely and very efficient and the baking is first rate. Definitely worth a visit - would highly recommend.

I love this place. The food is wholesome, the coffee is always delicious but probably the bet thing about it is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. All the staff seem genuinely pleased to welcome you and go out of their way to make you feel like you have popped into a friends house for a drink and bite to eat

A very busy little cafe. The lone assistant was rushed off her feet but kept a cheery disposition dealing with all the orders. Home made scone and millionaire's shortbread were delicious. The backround music was kept at a low volume which was just as well. A group of elderly ladies were trying to outdo each other with their anecdotes and holiday stories. If only there had been a polite way to ask them to tone it down. I'm sure had they been children 'someone' would have commented. Apart from them another lovely break in Dunblane.

Just left this lovely wee cafe with my mum,partner and grand daughter...friendly staff and lovely food...can honestly say iv we have never tasted such delicious scones...toasties were fab too!!...defo worth a visit!!

Had a cheese and chutney toastie this lunchtime, which was very tasty and about half the price of the Riverside opposite, which is very expensive.Beech Tree staff very cheerful and attentive.The purpose of my visit today was to visit the Old Curiosity antique Shop which was inexplicably closed, despite having loads of signs on their windows. If it wasn't for the fact I had a nice experience in the Beech Tree, my day would have been a total wild goose chase.

Popped in here for a coffee on arrival to see the Davis Cup Trophy (again ) lol the staff were lovely and put up with all our hilarity as we were all on a high with expectation. We had an array of hot drinks from Tea , Coffee, Latte and cappuccino. We cakes , and the biggest scones you have ever seen !!!!! Thanks really enjoyed our visit . But my tablet's better ha ha ha ha x
