Amazing wee cafe at the the gateway to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The decor and atmosphere is warm and cozy. Very friendly and helpful staff, providing amazing food at great prices. Sit in, sit out or takeaway at the window. Facilities were also immaculate. We were staying at a local hotel and visited for breakfast, sitting inside before check in. Full Scottish breakfast was the best I've had, with especially good haggis and Lorne sausages. We then visited the next day for a breakfast roll to go, before heading home. Robert was also very helpful and knowledgeable about the local walks. Beautiful wee cafe and we can't wait to return.

Skoosh is an attractive little cafe and takeaway. From their good menu of hot and cold snacks etc we had a toasted sandwich and a panini. Both were nicely made and delicious. Service is lovely and prices most reasonable. In short - this is a cracking wee cafe.

My wife and I were walking the West Highland Way and found that I urgently needed to replace my boots as they fell apart just when you didn't need it. Stopped for our breakfast and the young lady that served us I asked for some advice on where I could replace my boots, she was so helpful and gave us some great advice on where to find a shop. The breakfast was first class great value and friendly service. I replaced my boots thanks to the young ladies advice which saved our trip.

As a group of four with two dogs we received a warm welcome. Our breakfast orders were of excellent quality and well presented. Everything arrived quickly and our two dogs were offered biscuits and water. The cafe was decorated for Christmas in an over-the-top manner, and it felt like breakfast in Father Christmas' grotto, but this was part of the charm. We were visiting Drymen for a short holiday, but hopefully we will be back soon and will certainly return to Skoosh.

Situated on the Main Street in Drymen this is a small and very friendly cafe. I ordered a baked potato with tuna, and salad accompaniment. The potato was large and perfectly cooked, the tuna filling and salad were plentiful. The cost was very reasonable. My only small observation would be to include a ‘diet’ soft drink if possible, as we saw only the standard fizzy drinks on the menu.

After walking for hours from Milngavie along the West Highland Way in the pouring rain we were ready for a lunch and somewhere to shelter. We saw the signs for Skoosh and decided to give it a try. We arrived at the cafe with huge bags on our backs and dripping wet through so wasnt sure how we would be welcomed. Once we got inside the ladies in the shop could not do enough to help us. They took our bags, turned up the radiators and sat us down in the corner. We all ordered the home made soup and it was incredible. By far the best food stop we had along the entire West Highland Way. A nice hot coffee and a cake then we packed back up and got on our way. Huge thankyou from the four of us for looking after us that day. Without you we wouldnt have made it to Balmaha

Came here once during our stay in the Sterling area. We would have come more often, but it's not open for dinner daily. It's a very nice, cosy Pub. Very friendly, cheerful staff. An nice and happy atmosphere. We got a nice table by the window. Our Bulldog was welcome as well. Got some beer and ordered some starters and mains. Had baked goat cheese and Haggis balls for starters. Both excellent choices. Nicely executed. For the mains we went for beef steak strips with chips and Bangers'n'Mash. Here again: Both great choices. The steak was nice and tender. Good grilled flavour. The bangers were wonderful - from a local butcher. Good stuff. The highlight were the delicious chips (fries). I don't know how the cook does it, but these were probably the best fries we've ever had. Crunchy and crispy (like we've never had before) and inside hot and tender. Divine. Brillant chips. Prices are fair, staff was great. Food excellent. A perfect package. Loved it.

Charming hotel within walking distance to castle and other attractions. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional. Dinner at the Orangery was fabulous.
