The best restaurants in Forth and Endrick Stirling Central Scotland

Excelente comida, excelente servicio. Preciosas vistas de las colinas. Vale la pena visitarlo. Está situado dentro de un gran centro de jardinería también, con una buena tienda de regalos.

Went for dinner at the 1601 Restaurant and left disappointed. No drink mats on tables, had to ask twice for cutlery, napkins and condiments, and food not as described.

Comimos en la Siena Café en nuestra primera noche de caminar por la West Highland Way. Nos alojamos en El Drymen Inn, pero no nos impresionó por el menú, ni el menú en el Clachan Inn. ¡Casi nos damos por vencidos en la Siena como desde la carretera principal que parecía ser cerrado. Varios otros debe haber pensado lo mismo que sólo había otra mesa ocupada esa noche a pesar de la amplia variedad de platos, relación calidad-precio y un ambiente significativamente supera la de los otros restaurantes que habíamos visto. El menú era variada, no demasiado caro y había una buena variedad de vinos disponibles tanto en la botella y por copa.

Haven’t been for a while. Used to be such a fantastic place for lunch.The fish platter used to be such a treat. Not so now. Reduced in size. Tiny pieces of fish. More oatcakes and biscuits with horseradish pate on the plate than anything. Staff not knowledgeable about the house wine. Service slow and asked when paying bill if we wished to add a gratuity. To temp us back things need to really improve.

While staying in the Hotel, we had a pint in the Ptarmigan and it was fine - as was the service. From an atmosphere perspective it felt more like a pub than the the bar in the Buchanan, but less so than the Drymen Inn or the Clachan, and I guess it’s in that midstream area between pub and hotel bar. We would be happy to use it again - depending on what sort of atmosphere we were looking for.

One and a half pints the very aggressive bar person said she was not serving me ! Her friends were or had been drinking all night !! Said I was falling asleep at the bar !! Two pints don’t make me fall asleep!! Egressive and embarrassing ! I live in the village and everyone in the bar would say what the hell, the licence holder has a problem!! Will never go back . Been in hospitality 50 years. Should not hold a license I’m just this minute home … Thanks for listening! This person is interesting..

You have to climb a steep stair to the 1st floor for the restaurant. Ambiance is not really cozy. Waited for some 10 minutes and nobody was coming, so left the restaurant.

für einen Cappuccino kehrte ich im Caffe Nero ein, Effizient schneller Service. Für einen freien Tisch zur Prime Time gehört eine Portion Glück dazu - ich hatte Glück. Die Lage in Glasgow DownTown kann kaum besser sein. Für meine weitere Stadterkundung ein idealer Zwischenstopp. Von mir ein empfehlenswert

Stopped by for a coffee and cake at the st mocha drive through in carbeth, coffee and cake were delicious. Staff were really friendly and service was really fast,

Soft play was overly busy when I took grandchildren. I could not get a seat in the small playcentre My 2 year old was overwhelmed with all the older children in toddler area. What a waste of money Wanted some toast and egg for her lunch But they only do it for breakfast Everything else very expensive Will not go back

A nice, laid back place which is excellent for winding down after a day of lake side adventures. Cordial service, good food, prices are very reasonable. We were very happy with the service and food.

We tried it out on September week end . a friendly welcome from staff ,we sat in the conservatory which was cosy. I had steak and sausage pie,mostly sausage I have to say ,it had a ragou sauce in it , again not my favourite thing. Hubby had fish n chips which he said was just ok. The price was about right for the dishes. The lady that served us was very nice so that was a bonus.

Stumbled across this place while out a drive and would definitely go back. The food was lovely, great value, and we received a very friendly and warm welcome. Plenty of choice on the menu too.
