We had breakfast here one morning. Usual Nero fare so no surprises there. The building is quirky so fun to visit. Next to St Enoch subway station.

Ideal location in pleasant surroundings for a sit-in or coffee on the go. With my daughter and just the right spot to take a short break for a Latte. Lovely building as well.

I visit this coffee shop nearly everyday as it's next to my work, for my own coffees as well as my other work colleagues. The staff are always welcoming and polite! They care about all their regulars so well and are always a welcoming conversation in the mornings before my work. I order a range of coffees and no matter what the option they are always brilliant! Could not speak more highly of them, absolutely lovely staff! X

This Caffe Nero is housed in a beautiful historic building in the center of St. Enoch Square. Quite good coffee, nice selection of cakes. Beautiful calm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff here was really nice. I really like this cafe, the building itself is absolutely beautiful. A must go whenever you are in Glasgow city centre.

I go to this place about once a fortnight whenever I visit Glasgow. The staff and nice and helpful and I like the coffee. This lunchtime I popped in after a VERY bad experience along the road at McDonalds (the subject of another review) because I was rather hungry having skipped breakfast, so I bought an Americano and a panini with spicy meatballs as I usually do. It was spot on and very enjoyable indeed. It hit the spot. Both the coffee and the panini were top notch and I enjoyed them a great deal. It's a nice little place (It used to be an Underground railway station), and although it can get busy at peak times although today it was rather quiet. I believe they have more seating upstairs but I've never found it so busy that I needed to go there so I can't comment on upstairs. All in all then, a very pleasant experience and of course I'll be happy to go back there in the near future.

Eu recomendo.

We arrived at a busy time and it was obvious that the staff were stretched, although both women on the till were super friendly. Most of the tables were covered in crumbs and a bit grubby. The toilets were closed upstairs, leaving one disabled toilet downstairs for the whole cafe. There was a constant queue. Pretty sure this is illegal but apart from that it was completely filthy. Perhaps need to actually pay some more staff.

First time visit. Coffee and refreshments (toastie) were nice but not a lot of indoor seating so we had to brave it outside. Thankfully the weather was kind apart from the smog from the smokers. Still think smoking should be banned where food or drink is being served but I would say that as a non smoker. Toastie was very nice. Not a bad visit but more seating would be ideal but space is limited.

Caffe Nero is one of my favourite coffee shops. However this particular branch is the worst in Glasgow. There is absolutely no consistency in the quality of drinks. Also the cleanliness of the place leaves a lot to be desired. There always seems to be dirty dishes on dirty tables no matter what time of day you visit. Avoid at all costs!!

Met up with a friend for a 'coffee', but I'm much more of a hot chocolate girl. Ordered the hot chocolate milano, without a doubt it was literally the tastiest hot chocolate I've ever had, and will now be checking to see if there's a cafe nero more local to me :)Great location for meeting in Glasgow, and upstairs as sockets and is fairly quiet during the day, so a good location to potentially get a bit of work done over a coffee.

This building is my favourite in Glasgow. I took my kiwi boyfriend and was absolutely disgraced with the mess outside! The staff had obviously not cleared a table for hours - despite it being a beautiful day outside. With a few global giants nearby this independent knocks them for six in terms of quality and value. Recently reopened, post covid closure and I urge people to support this and other independent businesses, but only if they deserve it as this one clearly does. I had a bacon and a square sausage roll for breakfast and both were lovely. Returned on my last day for another bacon roll and had a couple of takeout rolls for later on the long train ride back home to Birmingham. Nice staff, nice place, deserves support. Recommended.

We have enjoyed visiting The Aizle many times over the past several years for both soup and a toastie or tea/coffee and cake. The staff are always friendly and efficient but the main attraction is the cakes which, although pricey are absolutely delicious. We had visited in May and had two teas and an americano coffee with hot milk and of course the cakes. Unfortunately, when we went there at the weekend, it is now apparently the practice to charge extra for the massive expense and effort involved in steaming a spoonful of milk to have with the coffee which means that a small cup of americano coffee which costs £2.65, presumably with cold milk, now has a surcharge of 75p, making it £3.40. We visit many restaurants and cafes and no-one else makes this additional charge so it really seems like greed. We won't be back.
