Visited with my other half, personally the food was way overpriced. I had balmoral chicken and it cost £18.50, it was nice and i enjoyed it but it not worth that. The fish is what my partner had and again it was nice but was not worth £18.50 I just think it’s really over priced for where it is. Lots of other choices not that far out which we would go too. I had some cosmopolitans which were £8.50, again nice but nothing special. I just think they really need to lower their prices. Would i return based on the recent visit, no probably not. The staff were nice, but when delivering the food to the table, did not ask if we needed sauce or so on. Had to chase up another waiter to get that. There was no atmosphere either. Couldn’t wait to finish and leave.
I don’t usually review food but feel like I didn’t get my moneys worth.
I ordered 2 x large hoagie wraps and they were perfect, two boys are stuffed and happy however I ordered a chicken kebab and the chicken was so thin I actually had mistaken it for Donner meat. It was lukewarm when it came which put me off as chicken has to be heated to at least 75-95 degrees to be safe to eat.
Not sure if it was a busy day in kitchen or I just got the end of the kebab so it was thin but don’t think it’s fair to spend nearly 30 pounds on an order and my food isn’t hot enough and it’s barely chunks of chicken
Requested a refund for the tikka.
We were served by Noah, who was a great host and server! We were able to get a seat fairly quickly around 6pm considering the restaurant quickly filled up for the rest of the night. We shared the charcuterie board and I had the beef ragu - delicious! Thanks Noah for your hospitality.
I popped in for two pints . It was clean and busy . There was a singer on stage later . We left to go for something to eat and never returned . I'm glad we visited it though as it was handy for the bus station and the toilets were clean
We went to brewdog for the first time and I was shocked. We waited 1hr and 15 mins for our food!! And 20 mins for our pudding we ended up cancelling the order and leaving. The food was very poor because the tacos and there was way to much sauce on them and also way to much sauce on the burgers . We also got more tacos and the wrap part was very dry. My experience was awful
Stayed 4 nights in Scotland and found ourselves here for 3 of them. Outside terrace beautiful in the sun with a stunning view of the Main Street. Servers very friendly. Bar is dog friendly too which is great for when it got a bit nippy outside. We ate in the bar one of the nights and the food was delicious, very fresh and sizeable portions.
