Good range but expensive for what it is.

Starters were great but mains were average. IMO over priced for the quality of food… service was very good. Menu not as good as it used to be!

Went earlier with 3 adults and 3 small children for food and drinks after bowling for a child’s birthday. My son who is 19 was asked for ID, he provided his driving license which the manager looked at and refused saying he didn’t think it looked like him then said he thought it was fake. Disgusting treatment and 3 upset children who were looking forward to ice cream.we’ve been loyal customers up until now who won’t be returning. My partner spent over £50 on cocktails prior to this.

Pizza and pasta were ok but not great, given the high price they charge. We expected something more authentic. Extra low points due to uncomfortable seating and disinterested staff.

Ordered breakfast through just eat. After an hour the delivery time changed by another hour. Called the restaurant and they advised it had never been collected. Blamed just eat but surely they can call just eat if an order has not been collected or call the customer as a minimum to apologise. Couldnt even apply for refund on thr app and when called the restaurant they said just had to wait. I have complained to just eat as very poor service.

Who knew they did fantastic breakfasts too! Freshly prepared cooked breakfasts. The poached eggs were fantastic as was the crushed fresh avocado.

Food wasn't like it used to be, I'll not be back, ordering off an app is no good for people who aren't tech savy

Spur of the moment visit and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. First time visiting this chain in a number of years. Service and food quality was great. Will definitely make a return visit.

Walked in today. Was really busy but got a table. Service was ace. Sadly the food wasn't up to usual standard. Not as hot as I would like. Food served up really quick. Easy access for wheel chair users. If coming in the evening its best to book. It can get really busy.

Been here a few times but today's visit was the best. Bruce who served us was brilliant, made us feel so welcome and was great with the kids. Food came out quickly, and Bruce always made sure we were happy. Definately be back here

went out for a staff night out, Bruce was amazing, great service. glad to see the gluten free options, a lot better than about 6 years back when i was glutened. staff seem to know more about celiac disease than I do!

We were very impressed with our visit to the restaurant the staff are very attentive and polite and brought the food and drink as soon as they were available. We have been on a few occasions and we're satisfied each time and will definitely be back again

Food was over cooked/dry. Some meals with the same price were of greatly different sizes. 3 of our party of 5 have upset tummies, 2 of wich had to go urgently to the bathroom before we even left. staff were friendly when we could get their attention, but had to get up to get their attention. The central air was broken so they had 2 small heaters pointed at the entrance door, the kids, us and the elderly on the next table were freezing.

Very good around, great service, great food, and we had a film to watch so had limited time for the meal all the staff made it work and we comfortably made the film . First class we'll be back.

Ordered a burger. It was a reheat. Was told that they pre cook the burgers and reheat them when ordered.

Pasta dishes too small for the money. Portions should be bigger.

Had a deal the people serving didn't understand however once sorted the deal is ruined by a £3.20 x 500ml of water, £3.40 for a small coke 😳 Portions are small and very fast to arrive, had £7 puddings to try fill up, never again for us.

We had a good experience dinning with the family.

Just had the bbq chicken and half rack with sweet potato fries. The chicken was excellent but the star of the platter was the half rack of melt in the mouth ribs, minimal chewing required. Great food at a fair price

Menu gone downhill, all the main things we used to regularly have had seemed to have been removed. Food OK but not up to previous standards either. Really disappointed the last couple of visits. Doubt we will go back to any F&Bs now.

Went here yesterday with my friend. Place was nice and the waitress was very quick and friendly However, the food was a real letdown. My friend got the carbonara and there was virtually zero flavour. Very diluted even with pepper and extra Parmesan. And I had the spicy meat feast pasta. And for something called spicy meat feast, there was literally zero spice to it. I choose to believe that the kitchen were just having an off day because I’ve been here before and the food was much better than what I had yesterday. But for now, quite a disappointing experience.

Great food but the menu is shrinking..... too many chips filling the plates now

I’d never dream of going here. Sadly, they’ve twice tricked me into eating their terrible food via faux burrito and bao bun restaurants on Deliveroo. I would never have placed the orders if I knew these jokers were behind it.

Hot dog and chips very poor for the price. Roll very dry. Prices like everywhere have went up. Would seriously gave to think about visiting again. Caters more for family's which can make restaurant noisy.

My family and I were here for our lunch at the start of our holiday on our way down and then again on the end of the holiday on the way back up. Both visits were extremely good the food was brilliant and the price for what you got was fair. The staff remembered us from our visit a week ago and we’re all really friendly. The atmosphere however was lacking somewhat as was fairly empty and quiet. But overall recommend highly especially as a stopping point when travelling the M90.

From walking in the door, to the food and staff, all is excellent. I fully recommend this F&B's. Food is brilliant. Staff are very lovely and attentive. Thank you so much folks. Will see you again soon.

Lady serving was lovely very pleasant service quick however the price was ridiculous 3 lasagna 3 chips 3 non alcoholic drinks and 2 kid’s meals 80pounds certainly wasn’t worth that and won’t be back Also kids should have got a dessert with their meal and although we forgot the restaurant certainly did not ask us poor

Nice place to eat! Loved the atmosphere inside and the lighting felt warm and welcoming! Service was good! Food was tasty but not a lot of it for the price! And drinks definitely overpriced!

We were at frankie and bennys in dunfermline, last night. (29-07-2003) We haven't been in one for a while and it was rather disappointing, place felt really run down, atmosphere was dull and the usual rat pack music was replaced with normal radio which you could hardly hear, some of the seating the fabric was torn, certainly went down hill and nothing like how it used to be. Where we were seated was dark, so you couldn't see the menu properly. Food ordered was a spicy pasta dish, mac and cheese and a burger. The mac and cheese was bland, no taste at all and nearly fully dry, no sauce, the pasta was over cooked and mushy and the cheese sauce they forgot any form of cheese, this would be fine if it was baby food! Food nothing like it used to be. (Couple across from us sent back calamari, excuses from manager on poor quality was "new supplier" well that's showing a poor quality product so surely you stop your orders! The server we had was lovely, really nice girl and brilliant at her job, I just hope the tip she received went to her alone and not into a large pot and shared. We will sadly not be returning to this one.

Been a few times now and tried a different dish every time and haven’t been disappointed. The food is always delicious and you’re never waiting long. The service is superb, they always make sure you’ve got everything you want and are friendly and attentive. Have a variety of different cocktails too which which are worth a try.

Took ages to get served in between meals and food wasn't so good, I should have sent the meal back. £16.70 for undercooked onion rings and burnt bacon. Definitely won't be back wish I hadn't have tipped either. I do appreciate that it was starting to get really busy but was only 5pm. The dessert was delicious though

When we got here it was empty. At 4.30pm. Had our starter with brilliant service, then there was a shift change and then we waited, waited and waited. No mains so I asked for the bill and explained I wouldn't be paying for mains etc as we hadn't had them and had been waiting a while. The manager on staff was amazing so were the staff. It was a kitchen issue. When we got our food my girl liked her pizza but it was burnt on bottom and my carbonara was the worst I've ever tasted - given carbonara is mostly all I eat when out I've tried many and it was awful. We got a refund and amazing service. My advice would be to find a new chef. One that focuses on the people in the restaurant and not online orders. I'm sure if you cooked food correctly for the people sitting in you'd be busier. But the waiting and FOH staff were incredible. I made up the discount given in tips for the manger and I think Bruce who served us before his shift finished as it wasn't a simple not wanting to pay, the food was truly awful and waiting time was horrid. But the service was amazing.

Lovely meal. The food was hit and freshly cooked. 3 of us had the sharing platter then a sweet....cookies and ice cream. The girl who served us couldnt have been more helpful. She was so attentive and smiled the whole time.

Excellent food and attentive but not obtrusive service. Tight for space at the table though: anyone overweight would need to squash in as the benches are fixed either side of the table.

Not as good as it once was. Menu is lacking a bit but overall still a good place to eat after/before a movie.

Went for a spot of dinner wanted something quick food came out but all I could notice was our waitress chewing gum not a pretty site. Ordered drinks with no ice and both came with ice felt very ignored after meal as took them a while to come over and take plates away wasn't very busy and felt they had too much staff on the floor as 3 was standing around doing nothing.

Really nice food, this is the second time the Arrabiatta pasta has come stone cold though, sent back again although when it arrives got it's delicious. Fries delicious burger was good, garlic pizza was tasty but overdone. Overall a good visit and will be back

Had the dirty hotdog and to be honest the actual dog itself was like a chew toy for a dog ,it was solid apart from that good service by our young waitress.

Faultless Waitress was absolutely lovely,food was delicious and a lovely atmosphere. Congratulations to you all.

Waited 35mins fir food to be delivered, supposed to be cajun chicken wraps; no more like cajun chicken; it was plain chicken with black pepper, the chips were supposed to be skin on chips 😫 it was terrible, won't be back

Arrived 7pm very busy were shown to our table which we booked , service was fast both girls were very pleasant and helpful and we were asked if anyone had allergies or dietary requirements. Our drink order was taken right away and the food order was taken a few minutes later . Considering how busy it was from ordering to being served was very fast , the food was great and the portions a great size. Would recommend highly and we will return

I ordered through Just Eat from Bone Jam, which is part of Frankie and Benny's and I paid nearly £10 for the so called 10 Korean BBQ wings and I ended up with a few small bits of chicken. They also forgot my fries. So £20 for nothing. Therefore I want a full refund.

Sadly the restaurant has lost its atmosphere, service was ok, food was ok. It was just ok, it was a bit expensive for just ok food.

It was nice going there today prices was decent open space great parking. Food was good very decent portion would definitely go again.

We had a nice pasta and a pizza. Pleasant place and staff. Only minor issue is that we were charged the pizza on the evening menu when I ordered it from the lunch menu and had checked they were the same before ordering.. only about £3 extra for the identical item so I didn't say anything but a little annoying and one to watch out for as I am sure I am not the 1st. I will pass comment next visit.

The food was very tasty and the service was excellent all round. The blonde haired manager looked after us throughout is a credit to the company.

Fries were cold, steak was undercooked in places and overcooked in others. Veggie burger was odd tasting, think just too much going on under the bun. Server was friendly.

Frankie's is always a favourite of ours and Dunfermline is a new local. Great service with very friendly attentiveness even when very busy. Food tasted great and didn't take long to be served. Thanks to Mark and his team for a great meal and Happy New Year.

Food was fine on Xmas eve. However booked 9 of our family from 12 told they needed table back by 2pm fine no problem. We were in there at 1155 prompt. Got our first drink at 1220 then they took our food order. A waitress with a serious attitude problem came over and stated pointedly that they needed table back by 130. I said that we would vacate the table as soon as we had finished eating. The aforementioned waitress then proceeded to walk pass our table throwing less than friendly glances. Not what u expect during the season of goodwill!! Really for a 3 course meal and drinks 1 and a half hours is cutting it fine when u only get ur drinks after 25 minutes. Felt very sorry for the next table taking our place who had to wait until we had vacated the table which we managed by 1.37. Perhaps u should consider giving tables at least 2 hours to eat and not try and squeeze so many people in. It is not doing ur reputation any favours at all.

Went out for dinner with the kids as a treat. Kids loved the frankies meatballs, and their puddings were delicious. Quite expensive for a family of 5, the 20% student discount cetainly helped...

Ordered loaded fries from Xmas menu gravy was like water witch made soggy fries and was topped with two miniature pigs in blankets cut in half. Very disappointing. Service took forever.

Not the grooviest or most atmospheric of places, but food was good, and service was also very good, so if you want a simple yet nice tasting dinner, it's worth a visit. I get the feeling it'd be a good place for having a birthday or confirmation celebration meal, as the service and food would surely work very well for large groups. Hot dog was delisho.

Bad main meal but great service. Event was an Evening (Birthday) meal for two. Starters were okay, dessert was okay. The main meal was just awful - The chips were cold and like scraps (obviously end of the batch), the cheese on the Burger was translucent and the burger itself tasted cheap with negligible relish. Despite the speedy and wonderful service from our waitress (whom we tipped) due to the poor main meal we’ll not be visiting again.

We visited on a busy Saturday night because our first choice restaurant nearby was full. We did not book ahead, but there was only a short wait for a table. The staff were attentive and service was very quick, despite the restaurant being almost full when we arrived. We were very impressed. A very enjoyable dining experience.

Staff were fantastic, very helpful and attentive, good comfort food reasonably priced for a treat. Clean toilets and located next to a large car park and shopping area. We chose it over Nandos...

New strawberry and lime ice cream cake is divine but not much of it but the taste is moreish.

Friendly courteous staff, food selection decent and prompt to table. Food was outstanding and we'll definitely be back. Loads of seating available even if you have a larger party going. Only down side was we weren't sure if they were open due to tinted windows and no signage to say if it was but door opened when tried. Only down side for us

Hadn't booked but wasn't a problem. The food was sooo good. My sister had the vegan mac n cheese and really enjoyed it. I had the crispy bbq chicken burger and it was lush 😋. Desserts were delicious too. Service was on point, Rebecca was our server, she was so lovely and made sure everything was spot on for us, safe to say I will definitely be back.

We've had a mixed experience with Frankie & Benny's in the past. We had a nice meal and Stirling and a very disappointing visit to one in Edinburgh. So it was with some trepidation that we decided to give this one a bash. Would it be third time the charm, or would we strike out? Well, read on! (Spoiler: look at the stars). First thing that struck us was the atmosphere, the place had a nice lively buzz about it, without being raucous. People seemed to be enjoying themselves, good sign. The staff were friendly and the place was clean (while we were there we saw how quick staff were to clean tables when people left, and what a thorough job they did of it). That's all very well you cry, but what about the food? Well, good news there too. It was first class. The spicy meatballs had a real kick to them, the BBQ brisket pizza was flavourful and the kids pepperoni pizza delighted the smallest member of the team. After the mouth buzz of the meatballs, I fancied something sweet and spotted the lemon tart on the menu. Now, lemon tart, for us, is one of those dishes. It's either done really well, or it's a real let down. Should I gamble on it, or play safe? I decided that things had been going so well so far that I'd roll the dice and give it a try. Good call! It was lovely, tart and zingy and just what I was after. Really enjoyed the evening and can't fault the place. Highly recommended.
