This is a popular, tidy & modern bar/restaurant located in the historic centre of Dunfermline. There is a good selection of drinks available, with lots of TVs showing sports. Food menu is varied with good portions, much as you expect from Greene King venues. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I visited on a Friday evening, both myself and my brother thought the food was fantastic! The service was amazing, a lovely gentleman asked us how our food was and came to collect our plates. It was very busy but we were served quickly, the prices for drinks and food are also good. Highly recommended great service!

Since this place was renovated prices seem to have gone up very expensive if there’s two of you having a night out, lots of cheaper bars not far from here, plus foods nothing great. Unfortunately won’t be back

Spacious pub with plenty of tables. Food was fairly average but inexpensive and the staff were friendly and efficient.

Tried haggis for the first time and fell in love! The ambience is pleasant and the portions are appropriate. We'll be happy to come back and order haggis again without thinking. 😍

Love this pub! Great food and the staff are always so attentive. 👌 The fish and chips is hard to beat which is what we both had last night. I also reccomend the burgers, mac n cheese, katsu curry and sharing platters. My partner had the biscoff cheesecake and I kept eating it as it was so delicious

Went in for breakfast, which was delicious and reasonably priced. Spotlessly clean and dog friendly, plenty of space for my friends large breed dog. Nice wee doggy station for you to help yourself to water etc. The toilets were spotless and beautifully decorated. Definitely be back!

Amazing as always. Food and drinks were delicious and the service was once again outstanding. All the staff are so attentive, friendly and on the ball. Huge shout out to Lucas our server who was such a lovely member of the team. Hands down my favorite pub in Dunfermline.

Great afternoon at Tom Jones tribute show afternoon. Great service from friendly staff. Seniors 2 courses for £6.99 lunch. So lovely to see people enjoying themselves up dancing. Thanks guys looking forward to next one already.

Just read someone’s bad review from yesterday. My son, who is autistic and I visit Dunfermline every October and have been having lunch at Seven Kings for the last 10 years. Food and service has always been excellent and today was no exception. We always have fish and chips (some hot chicken wings today too) Recommend 👍🏻

My friend order the fish is says it was haddock but want it was yellow when we complain about it try to tell us that it was Haddock the staff was not nice and that attitude was bad wouldn’t be back

The food was very good I had chicken wings and they were cooked perfectly, my gran and grandad had sweet chilli chicken wraps and they said it was good, service came quick and the decoration was nice. For kids drink I would recommend the apple juice good size and taste is Nice.

It's ok not really a place I would visit often, it's dark and too many tvs showing different programs, it was however better than the diner that was owned by the same company as in Kirkcaldy (home farm, that place must be avoided)still room for improvement.

I don't usually post reviews as I find them a waste of my time but I have to say don't go anywhere near this place! My wife and I were asked at the door where we had been before, almost like an interrogation. The doorman was extremely rude and put us off even going in, I will never go back to this place again!! Thanks for your response, so you will take no responsibility for the way your doorman treated us, his attitude was disgusting. What has it got to do with him where we had dinner before going to your establishment???? As you have seen the CCTV footage I'm sure you could work out that all of my group were in no way shape or form drunk as your doorman was implying!! And the manner in which he asked the question was just plain rude. After your response I don't feel it necessary to contact you again about that night as we will never go back to the seven kings. Well done 👍🏼

Beautiful bar, had the full breakfast which was very tasty and filling highly recommended. Waitress was very friendly.

Went for Sunday roast. The meat makes up the trimmings. The meat was the only good thing on the plate. You couldn't call the potatoes roast at all that looked like boiled except hard. Is it worth nearly £20 for just the meat. No, there's better value and quality out there

Food was great drinks were fab however I did find one teeny black hair didn’t want to make a fuss in the restaurant just thought I’d make someone aware to prevent any further issues other than that everything was amazing

Over priced beer 6 pound for a pint 4 drinks 24 quid wasn't worth it

Enjoyed a lovely Scottish breakfast with the usual favourites including haggis. Service was very good. Would have been better if the hot drinks were included in the breakfast price. Overall very enjoyable start to the day before we ventured down the Glen, (pittencrief park)which is just across the rd.

Went in for brunch with a toddler and very family friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Good prices. Would be good for a few more veggie egg free options.

Good food & great service but crispy bacon is a no no on the Hunter's Chicken!! It is undercooked & fatty!! Even after I specifically asked for it to be crispy!!! But the chicken was lovely!! Been a while since I was here & happy to say much improved since revamp! Great Seniors Menu £6.99 for two courses & freshly cooked!! House white wine bottle for £14 ! Very good value in these times 👍 Still great value with the Seniors Menu! Unfortunately the house wine is now £17.99😕 Great service too!

I went with my family of nine, 4 adults 5 kids. Burgers were great, fish and chips with mushy peas was just the way we wanted it. The environment is family friendly and kids menu comes with choices of different dessert. We got more than we expected and will definitely come back next time we visit again. Love from Naples, Italy

Good place to eat a good lunch along with a beer

We visited this place with our cousins family. The beer was cold and nice and food was delicious. Loved their Mac & cheese - creamy and gluey. Portions were big. Lady on the counter was very friendly and polite. The waitress was friendly too. There were a lot of tables reserved for Friday lunch time. We were lucky to secure a table without booking, but maybe consider that if you go for dinner in the weekends.

We returned to this warm, inviting restaurant on 6th August and the three of us enjoyed three hours there.The hard working waitresses were very attentive and the staff, who take your order at the bar,were welcoming .We had a generous fish, chips and peas then jam roly poly pudding and custard.It was an unusually warm sticky day and the pints of Coke, with ice and fruit slices, were much needed.There was a good range of coffees.The extensive menu is more than affordable with Seniors versions.There are spotless toilets.The seats, in this newly renovated restaurant, are comfortable.There are large TV screens throughout but not so loud as to distract others.We paid an average £24 each.The restaurant is opposite the Glen gates and near the main bus stance.

Took my dad out for his birthday for lunch. Was simple to order food at the bar and it arrived in good time. Food was all delicious. Place was quite busy too which is a good sign.

Had a limp wrap and a pint, the wrap came without chips, apparently because I didn't specifically request the advertised deal. A disappointing lunch, poor value - there are much better places in Dunfermline.

Great place. Haven't been there for quite a few years and I was not disappointed when I went back. The place looks fantastic. Very professional, very friendly and helpful staff. The food was great. All of that combined with a good selection of beer = my happy space.

It was a quiet Monday evening with the sun shinning, the staff and service were equally delightful. The food, I had the Balmoral burger....sublime!

Lovely meal great service will return again

Beware if vegetarian! I ordered a plant burger which said it came with skin on fries and onion rings for £10.49. When it arrived it was minus the onion rings and had ordinary chips not skin on frys. When I queried this I was told that if you order this meal as a vegan you don't get skin on frys or onion rings as they are cooked in the same oil as meat products to but if you order it as a vegetarian you do get them even though they have been fried with meat products. Don't they understand that both vegans and vegetarians don't eat meat???? Furthermore this was not explained to me when I ordered and I was charged the same price even though I didn't get the onion rings which are £3.50 if you order them separately. Not happy!

I had taken my family out for the day and we visited the dunfermline Abbey and then had a walk in the park. The seven Kings is just a two minute drive from the park so ideal for a pit stop. Good selection of food for adults although children's menu could do with a couple of more choices on it. Nice surroundings and friendly staff. Stairs up to the restaurant area and no wheelchair access.

Good selection on the menu also options for small plates and a seniors menu ,We had the Buttermilk chicken burger and fries ,very tasty . The service was fast and friendly and the place was quite busy . We were in for lunch at 12.30

Had food from the seniors menu...very disappointed by what arrived on our plates. Cheese Mac and sausage with mash. Service was slow also. Won't be hurrying back any time soon.

Establishment very busy our booked table was positioned as if they had forgot aboutour booking.Tried to use my blue light card and was refused by bar staff ,was informed I had to use the app, I informed bar staff I was not going give my personal details to sign up to your wifi, why in other Green King pubs can I use my blue light card.

Very sad to come to the 7's today for the Neil Diamond afternoon show After booking 2 tables on APRIL 26th... Arrived today to find out our party were put in booths apprt. We frequently enjoy the Seven Kings the whole 14 of us... however I'm very deeply disappointed at this. So I guess in the future the way to go is just turn up and see... #notgood😔

Stepped in out of the rain for a drink and ended up having something to eat . The chicken schwarma flatbread was lovely . The place is nicely decorated and service was great. Shaun was very friendly and made us feel welcome we will def be back for another visit

This pub was lively, lots of room - adults section as well as family section for those with prams & wee ones. The food was delicious, had the Sunday Roast, and a dram of Whisky. Staff was VERY friendly, and the service was great. Would definitely recommend this place for tourists to enjoy the local scene. Well done 👏

Last night in Scotland and saw the great reviews so thought I'd go for supper. Went up to the bar to ask if I could sit anywhere and they said yes. Found myself a seat in the section near the main door. 15 minutes later and menus closed, not a single employee came and acknowledged me. Needless to say I walked out

Best pub in Dunfermline in my book. The manager has a great team and nearly all the staff have a smile for you. I eat here a lot and the food is consistently good and occasionally great. The new decor and layout works well too.

A good range of beers, lots of small plates on the menu as well as the usual pub burgers but it was all well presented and tasted nice.

A Greene King pub. Order and pay at the bar. I thought the meal was good and a good choice on the Menu. They do a pensioners deal during the week at very reasonable price(s). Advise you book though via their website or direct.

Absolutely love Seven Kings in Dunfermline. One of my favourite places to catch up with friends, also to spend time on my own with great options on their various menus, lovely staff and a wide selection of seating areas to choose from. Ten out of Ten 😁 💯
