A Greene King pub. Order and pay at the bar. I thought the meal was good and a good choice on the Menu. They do a pensioners deal during the week at very reasonable price(s). Advise you book though via their website or direct.

Dog friendly is a huge plus, staff are always very friendly

Absolutely love Seven Kings in Dunfermline. One of my favourite places to catch up with friends, also to spend time on my own with great options on their various menus, lovely staff and a wide selection of seating areas to choose from. Ten out of Ten 😁 💯

There today about a 40 minute wait for food , husband got the seniors fish and chips the fish was the size of a chunky battered fish finger , I had sweet chili chicken ciabatta , dreadful tiny bits of chicken drowned in chilli sauce on a doughy roll , not toasted , ate a few chips left the rest , won't be back

Food is great, but not all staff are able to keep a neutral face when serving

A favourite place to go, great food and drink and a sheltered smoking area with seats which is rare these days. Disabled access, lots of tables, they play sport on the TVs. Always quite busy so a great atmosphere.

A recent revamp has greatly improved the surroundings. Food is standard pub fare but reasonably priced and tasty.

Me and my partner got a sirloin steak with salad, chips and peppercorn and brandy sauce, we like our steaks well done,they were but very fatty and a bit oily, the peppercorn sauce was a let down as it got more bitter and bitter as the meal went on, a bit disappointed as the bill was just short of £40 but overall we would go back but probably not buy the steak or peppercorn and brandy sauce,nice and clean and a dog station providing water and treats which is fab.

Slow service. Not much atmosphere mainly due it being a Friday afternoon

I came here for the first time last weekend with my husband and two year old. It was very busy but managed to find a seat. A good food menu and drinks menu. We had to wait quite a bit for our food. But again, it was a Saturday. I didn't realise the corn ribs had vegan mayo on it. This was disappointing as I thought it would be on the side for dipping. My husband liked his, and I felt like the pizza for my son was very like a Chicago Town pizza. Also tasted the same. The rosemary & salt skin on fries were delicious. It had a great atmosphere and would definitely come again. But order differently. The brunch menu looked good.

The food was good when it eventually arrived. Andbit was piping hot. The place was really busy and the staff were run off their feet. Nice and clean and nice staff.

Good food & great service but crispy bacon is a no no on the Hunter's Chicken!! It is undercooked & fatty!! Even after I specifically asked for it to be crispy!!! But the chicken was lovely!! Been a while since I was here & happy to say much improved since revamp! Great Seniors Menu £6.99 for two courses & freshly cooked!! House white wine bottle for £14 ! Very good value in these times 👍

Worst bar lunch in a long time. Food obviously microwaved as everything cold except the three small pieces of chicken inside the pie.

Lovely place, ordered food and it was all wrong, they offered me a little tub of bbq sauce to make up, they forgot the bacon, it was supposed to be 2 patties, there was 1, blah blah blah. Just a jumped up witherspoon that was worse

My first visit to Seven Kings with family for a Christmas eve supper. It was extremely busy, and obviously popular with the locals. I chose fish and chips with garden peas with tartare sauce, delicious. The busy staff were very helpful and polite. Reasonably priced menu well worth a visit.

Always top class when visiting 7 King's! Bit of a billing issue that the management team sorted in a matter of minutes as always going above and beyond thank you again and see you in the new year

Didn't eat so can't comment on the food. Excellent service and great prices. Very noisy so not the place for a quiet drink.

Had Christmas dinner yesterday there was 12 people in the group for a work party.The food and service was amazing thanks to all the staff for giving us a great time x

Very enjoyable evening. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was prompt despite it being fairly busy. Although I wasn't paying the prices seemed reasonable for a decent portion of quality food.

I was there with my wife and three friends. The food and service were fine. The male toilet cubicles were not good. The door of one of them wouldn't lock, and the other one had a broken seat and was soaking. It's very disappointing considering the establishment has been recently refurbished. Also, our visit was cut short because at three o'clock, a football match started, and the volume of the TVs was increased to a level where we could not have a conversation without shouting! We asked if it could be turned down, but apparently, it couldn't, so we left.

I gave a bad review about the Nachos a few weeks ago. So I thought it only fair to give a good one when we enjoyed our meal. Couple of weeks ago I had Sunday roast And my husband had steak pie. Both meals were lovely and hot and really enjoyable. In here tonight and we both had the steak. Again, have to say we really enjoyed it. Only downside was it could have been a bit warmer, but all in all it was cooked to perfection

Went on a Sunday afternoon for burgers for dinner. Haggis burger was great. Wasn't disappointed food was tasty. As was g&t. I like the new decor. And staff always pleasant.

Party of 5. 1 person was served within half a hour but the other 4 waiting 45 minutes. Eventually served when complained at bar by which time first served was finished his meal. not so much as a apology offered. Poor service.

First time since the refit and sadly disappointed by my steak and ale pie, was mainly gravy with very little meat. Unfortunately I won’t be back for food there. Also no longer table service.

Just ordered Nachos. There is nothing on the menu stating they are chilli flavour and very little cheese on them. Looks like it's the last of the packet and mainly crumbs at the bottom.

Watched the Newcastle - Paris Champions League game, assisted by three pints, and a half time burger. Football was perfect, beer was good, (the Best), and bacon, cheese burger was brilliant. Staff were good. Same results in three weeks please. ;-)

Recent upgrade work has freshened the place up nicely. The small bite menu is great value and offers a lovely mix of food styles. Definitely worth a visit. Update- 5 small bite menu still excellent value for money

Nice lunch, potato, and leek pie for lunch, while passing through Dunfermline. Order at the bar, not much interaction with staff.

Food was good, they know how to pour a Guinness correctly. Went here again and on reflection have changed my review as the atmosphere was more chilled.

Standard pub fayre. Bacon and Blue Cheese burger had two small, shrivelled pieces of bacon and no discernable blue cheese flavour.

Had breakfast today and I can highly recommend them. Food was fresh, hot and delicious 😋

Food was not great its a shame I used the seven Kings alot at one time but sorry to say I won't be going back service was spot on. its just the food menu looked awesome but it wasn't backed up by the kitchen.

Today I was with my friends in this restaurant, first we sat outside, but no one came. So we moved inside, we sat there for over 20 minutes and the waiter still didn't come. When we asked the waiter, we were told that not only drinks but also food is ordered at the bar. We were very disappointed and angry, such things do not happen in better or worse restaurants in Europe! I wouldn't have said half a word if they had it written somewhere, for example at the entrance or on the table, since the complete menu with drinks was written on each table. The space looked cozy but a big disappointment for this!!!

Unless you’re a local I wouldn’t bother going. I was looking forward to experiencing a British style pub but walked out after being ignored for almost 15 minutes while waiting at the bar for service. It’s pretty bad when not 1 but 2 bartenders make eye contact with you and continue to walk passed you several times. It seems like locals whom knew them and arrived afterwards were quickly attended to. I’ll take my American money elsewhere!

Nice pub, nice staff. We both had chicken bacon n leak pie but for the price of it only to put 4 small bits of chicken in each pie is shockingly tight. We will find somewhere else for our weekend lunches

Once bitten twice shy I should have been but gave this place a second chance 6 weeks ago I order lasagne after about half an hour it comes it must have been made 2 says before the wife and daughter in law get steak pie they said it was no bad nothing special but they ate it I never complained but said to them I'm never going back . Well today I did same time wait about 30 mins I'm not really bothered I'm not in a hurry for anything my steak pie chips comes tuck into puff pastry is cold and the steak is luke warm take a couple of bites so does wife the Same lady come over takes plates away 1 minute later chef comes out door looks over at our table gives a dirty look and shake of head then goes back into kitchen 30 seconds later same plates come back absolutely roasting puff pastry all soggy chips the same microwave dinner absolutely shocking got refunded money back but e for drinks THEREWONTBE A 3RD TIME

Cozy atmosphere, good food. At first it wasn't clear to me that you had to order at the bar counter, but that's probably the cultural differences, but when I asked, they explained it to me. The service itself is generally friendly, even when there are inconveniences. Was very comfortable after a strenuous journey. I would recommend!

Nice pub with lots of TV screens so you can watch sports while you eat. Excellent food for a reasonable price.

Found our own way to our booked table, there was nothing to indicate that you had to go to the bar to order and pay, but eventually we worked it out, then we had to make 2 or 3 trips backwards and forwards to put our drinks on the table, (water was in a horrible plastic jug), then you have to trail back to the bar to order your meal. Eventually it arrived and was quite disappointing really, fish was greasy, burger just OK and the Katsu Curry was not good at all. A large blob of dark glutinous sauce over the chicken tasted like too strong a gravy mix with some spice/curry added to it! This trailing up to the bar every time you wanted something is not relaxing and enjoyable. No one came and asked if everything was OK nor were all the dirty glasses cleared from the table at any point, we left a tableful! We used to go here a lot but certainly will not be back, no atmosphere, no staff looking after you, just a feeling that you are on your own and if you need anything go and get it yourself, didn't seem to be any sign of management. Didn't leave a tip as we felt there had been no service, we had done it all ourselves!

Me and a few friends come here regularly, all the staff from the bar staff to door staff are top notch, never had a complaint in the couple years I've been going.

Better than The Abbotsford Bar & Restaurant in Edinburgh don’t recommend, but kings is the best in town hands down.

Been here several times. Average pub food. Only problem is the smokers standing at the back entrance smoking, couldn’t get near the door to get in for smoke. If you see smokers at the door, tell them to walk into the car park and smoke, it’s costing you customers!

Seven kings is just a walk away from our house so it’s very easy for me and my partner to walk in and get a drink or bite to eat . Always welcoming and great service .

Gluten free breakfast is simply one of the best I've ever had.

What a great place to come here and grab lunch with family and friends. The pace inside is just gorgeous and they also have a sitting outside bit for when it gets to hot. The staff are lovely and alway welcome you when you walk in. The food is very fast and serviced, definitely within 20 minutes to 30 minutes. Everything tastes so fresh and the drinks are amazing. At night it's a great place to go for drinks or to even watch the football. The atmosphere is amazing

I visited the 7 Kings for lunch & found the food, service & staff to be EXCELLENT. Following the recent refurbishment of the premises the bar has a fresh, clean & vibrant feel. The staff were friendly & special mention for Amanda & the THIRD longest serving member of staff must be made as they assistewith a Pars query. On the whole a FANTASTIC experience & I would highly recommend The 7 Kings to anyone in the future. THANK YOU 👍🏻🏁⚽️😀

First time here with family and enjoyed meal, girl at bar actually informed us it would be cheaper ordering food (small plates of different dishes) rather than the way I was ordering , it’s always good saving money but rarely do you get staff anywhere encouraging it which I found great! Food was good, ordered at bar and they brought the food over , staff were very nice , would certainly go back 😀⭐️

Really nice looking place since it was refurbished. Food was of high quality and service was very friendly and efficient.

Newly reopened after a month of renovation, and what a difference it really makes. New bar, seats, flooring, lights, colour scheme, the whole lot has been changed, for the better. Even the loos get a much needed upgrade. Really good pub grub, at a good price. Staff are very helpful, and quick. We'd happily go back.

After the recent refurbishment we tried this pub again, prices around £5 for most drinks, dark decor and alot noisier than it was before, Still the same poor service and poor management

My wife and I come to the Seven Kings for lunch or dinner. The staff are great. However, we find opening times are NOT consistent. We arrived at 10am for Breakfast on Saturday 22nd July to find the doors closed. If Breakfast starts at 10am the doors should be open prior to this. This was a regular occurrence prior to the new renovations, please don't continue in the same fashion.
