Pizza was a bit oily, they try too rip you off with extras.

The place needs a bit of a warm up. Decent. Friendly staff. Pizza was ok. The salad was fresh and delicious.

Warmer upstairs, food quick & reasonably priced, if a little oily.

First time great, second time a few years later was very disappointing.

Nice restaurant, we had pizza and a side of fries. When the food was delivered, we were asked if we wanted any sauces,so I asked for ketchup and mayonnaise, I was told that Iwe would have to pay for it,as it was extra, not a charge that we expected to pay and especially,a place that serves children. Unfortunately, we will not be going again.

Horrible service - we came in tonight at 7:30 and still haven’t been served our food which we ordered immediately after we sat down- it’s 8:51. If you want to sit for an hour and a half while your server ignores you by all means please come. Service didn’t use to be so bad! Perhaps a new manager?

Pizzas were large and reasonably priced. Cheesecake was disappointing. Friendly service.

First time visiting St Andrews, we pop in Mozza for a quick lunch. Best pizzas we have in years, all made fresh. Attentive staff, good location.

Visited Mozza for a meal with friends last night. Whilst the food was good as always, the service unfortunately let the experience down. Restaurant was not busy but it took very lengthy periods to place orders including for initial drinks. Staff not at all visible and when we did eventually place our order we were served food in a random and baffling order - one portion of chips first, followed by 2 starters at separate times and finally, much later, our pizzas. Can't complain at the food, as already mentioned the pizzas were excellent, however the lengthy waits and poor management of how our meal was served really let the place down. To then be presented with a bill with a service charge already added was borderline insulting - look out for this if having a similar experience here.

Me and my friend had a lovely dinner at Mozza Italian Restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting and made for a nice evening out. We started with a couple cocktails. The Sparkling Rasberry Negroni was well-made and balanced, while the Aperol Spritz was refreshing and perfect for the occasion.Omg I love them so much For our main course, we ordered a pizza each. The pizzas were huge for the price. We could have shared one between two of us, I would high recommend for you Pizza 13, you will never know how good it is until you have first bite 🥰🥰 Overall, Mozza delivered great food and friendly service. We left happy and would definitely recommend it !

The food is very tasty and is served quickly. Price-performance ratio is reasonable. Service nice and helpful. However, it has the charm of a train station hall. Unfortunately not really comfortable, but clean.

The food was delicious, but the waiting staff were inattentive, deliberately avoiding eye contact. The wait for our food was over 1 hour! If you like pizza and are not in a particular hurry then go for it but if, like us you have 2 young kids that you are trying to entertain whilst waiting for food then give it a miss!

Pizza were delicious, gut enormous. Had 1 between us with a serving of olives. 1st class.

Great staff, both Estaban and Anna were very attentive and charming. Loved the pizza and rocket salad. Highly recommend.

Pizzas not what they used to be. Bland and heavy

Food was enjoyable, service satisfactory, however we are very annoyed & concerned that the server that brought us our bill & took payment at the table added an "optional 10% service charge" without informing us before taking payment. Clearly was not optional as we would have opted not to pay it, so beware when paying at Mozza, because it might just cost you a motser!!!

Very slow service, we receive our pizzas 50 min after we order and they forgot what we ordered.

The truth is that we arrived at the restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. They have a wide variety of pizzas, we ordered 2 for 4 people and it was perfect. Both very tasty pizzas, the attention of the staff 10/10 and the speed of preparation of the products as well. The place is quite spacious and the bathrooms are very clean.

Quiet night but to be charged £28 plus for 2 Margarita Pizza with extra onion and 2 small cokes is a bit steep. No beer on site only other option was Wine which we don't drink. Very disappointed to say the least.

The sittings upstairs are very comfortable and airy. We always do takeaways but finally got a chance to eat in. The pizza came out bubbling hot and yummy. Great services too.

Rude staff! Woman who took my order was disgustingly rude. Like she couldn’t be bothered and didn’t want my custom. Absolutely terrible attitude, can’t believe i carried on with my order.

I have been going here for years and every time we just love it. It's absolutely excellent value for money (just £5 for a pizza before they updated the menu) and it's not just any old pizza, it's absolutely delicious. Could hardly believe it the first time we tried it how cheap it was for the taste. Staff are very friendly, very clean place, lots of seating, nice atmosphere and very nice, clean toilets. I'm writing this while in here, about to leave, we paid £35 for 4 people (we only took the pizza). A plain cheese pizza is now 9.95 I think. We absolutely love this place!

Pizza was nice,but didn't stay warm very long , unfortunately sat under an air conditioner,ended up food cold and we were frozen . We should have asked to move but we will know the next time.

Here’s a revised version of the restaurant recommendation: "The pizzas are great, but it's surprising that they don't offer any options with beef, which limits choices for those seeking beef or halal food. Additionally, the chef seemed unfriendly and had a poker face as we passed by the oven on our way to the washroom. He didn't approach us to see if he could make something special to please the customers. Don’t recommend this restaurant unless they take an action against.. and for sure the chef needs to be learned about customer services.

I had a lovely farewell dinner at this place, so it is very special to me! Yet I would recommend it to anyone who wants delicious Italian pizza, weather for a major milestones in life or just a delightful dinner. The pizza selection is quite broad, and the restaurant makes every pizza with a true sense of deliberateness and thoughtfulness. With a crust that is chewy but not too much so and firm without being too hard, the pizza here never disappoints, regardless of which one an individual chooses. The ambiance is fine, and on bright days, sunlight pours and floods through the windows.

Absolutely delicious pizza, very traditional and enjoyable. The service and staff was great, everyone was very helpful, and a good, pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

Food was cold and just not great at all, the restaurant was pretty much dead and the pizza still looked like it had been thrown together in a mad rush. The middle was all watery and the base towards the middle was almost non existent. Staff were really friendly and nice but the restaurant itself looks pretty worn and the food was borderline terrible unfortunately.

Relatively inexpensive place to eat in St Andrews, quick, friendly service and the menu has plenty of options. The pizza's are quite large, very tasty and if you're unable to finish, then they'll put it in a box for you to take home. Usually able to turn up and get a table without booking but probably best to check at busier times.

Very poor. We had a table booked for 7.30. We had to wait about 15 minutes before we were seated. Eventually someone took our orders for food and drink. Drinks came at about 8.30. Two starters arrived at around 9.00. Not the focaccia ordered but just pizza bread and oil. The gap between getting the 4 pizzas was such that we wondered whether to start eating rather than wait. The third starter came at the same time as the final pizza The service throughout was rubbish. The starters were poor. (The pizzas were good.) No explanation was ever given. I cannot recommend this place at all.

I'm a true Neapolitan, and if you're seeking the authentic pizza of Naples, where pizza was born, this is the perfect place. Most importantly, the workers here craft pizza with passion and love. I spoke with the staff, and they meticulously attend to every detail to deliver the perfect Neapolitan pizza. Perhaps in Naples, this pizzeria could easily be among the best without any doubt. This pizza is truly on another level compared to others. Furthermore, I tried the Margherita, Marinara, and Salsiccia e Friarielli pizzas on both occasions I visited, and each time they were impeccable in service, quality, and remarkably affordable compared to UK standards. Additionally, I highly recommend their homemade pesto sauce and tiramisu, both of which are absolute masterpieces.

Just went here tonight for my first time ever, I was blown away by the food and I really recommend to anyone who enjoys great quality Italian pizza!

Not at all impressed with the food. My partner tried to order lasagne, the only pasta dish on the menu to be told that there was none. She ordered filled focaccia which was definitely not focaccia. She was unable to eat half of it as the bread was a heavy almost pizza like dough. I ordered a pizza to be told there was no Italian sausage. The pizza base was so thin that it was difficult to eat and there was only topping in the very middle with a good 5cm of plain crust surrounding it. The best thing about the whole meal was that they brought water to the table without being asked. The dishes arrived a good few minutes apart. Won't be going back.

Was a quiet lunchtime but pizza as always was excellent

We had booked a table 6 weeks ago and had a digital reminder but no table was reserved. We were asked our order but no drink order was offered or taken. We had to ask separately for drinks. Waitresses didn't smile. Glasses were dirty. We had to remind about parts of our order that were forgotten about after serving when we realised they weren't coming back. The pizzas were doughy and charred around the edges and the bases were so thin, they were like crepes. They weren't even strong enough to cut or hold. A waitress was clearing plates away before we had all finished our food and tried to take my drink away before I had finished it (with a quarter still left in it). We ordered a dessert but after a lot of whispering and looks between waiting staff and chefs we figured out they had run out of desserts but instead of being honest and saying that, they made a makeshift tiramasu, with cream and hard biscuits in a glass jar and cheesecake was broken up biscuit in a jar with two inches of soft cream cheese and sugar. Very disappointing service and food. Won't be back or recommend. Update : my son got food poisoning from this meal and ended up missing two prelims from being really unwell. He's been unwell for 4 days vomitting and really upset stomache. I phoned to speak to the manager and spoke to Gabriela, who was so incredibly rude, dismissive, unprofessional and took no responsibility! I have never spoken to a manager that is so rude! Absolutely disgraceful customer service!!!! WE WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!!

Never have I wanted to hurl myself out of a window more than when I made the egregious blunder of ordering the mozza lasagne. Whilst attending a dinner with visiting family, a portion of lasagne the size of a post it note was delivered to my table, whilst my companions enjoyed three pizzas the size of small steering wheels. Although a cause of immense hilarity at my table, my day was decimated and I am left here feeling hungry and sad. The lasagne was consumed in four very aggressive fork loads, and then I sat in silent despondency for the rest of the meal. At least it was only £12.95.

My wife and I came to St. Andrews yesterday for one day only to visit some friends and we had a limited amount of time. We were recommended to come to Mozza for a nice tasty and quick lunch. To our disappointment, we waited over 30 minutes for a waitress to come to our table. After the waitress finally took our order we waited another 45 minutes without receiving any drinks or food and with no explanation. I politely went up to the waitress and asked how long it would be until we recieved drinks or food. She just gave me a blank stare and said she didnt know and walked away. We waited another 10 minutes without receiving anything and then decided to leave as we did not want to waste our only day in St. Andrews. In the end we waited well over 1 hour without recieving a single drink, a single item of food, or any apology or explanation from a staff member. On the way out I spoke with a lady downstairs who appeared to be the supervisor. I politely explained the situation to her and she offered no apology. She basically just said we were free to go. We were very disappointed as we had heard good things about Mozza and did not get to experience the food and we were also upset that our time was unapolagetically wasted.

Not great. We used to like the Dundee one and went quite often but since its closed we gave the St Andrews branch a try. Drinks orders taken quickly then food orders about 20 mins later and the food still turned up before the drinks. We had to ask 3 times before one of the staff at the pizza oven told waiting staff to get is drinks - luckily he was more observant than the waiting staff. There was clearly some sort of tension between the staff. Food is good but they tried to take our plates before everyone was finished and then never asked about kids ice cream which comes with meals. It was not particularly busy. To top it off the ridiculous 7% service charge they hide on the bill which we had to ask to be removed and the toilets were just not up to cleanliness standards you would expect for a restaurant. So pizzas were good but would absolutely not recommend anyone go along until they get their front of house and toilet cleanliness sorted out.

I would leave zero stars if I had the option. Went on a Sunday at about 2:30pm with my whole family (big group of 7, including kids). They told us to come back in an hour. After waiting and spending money on ice cream and drinks to hydrate ourselves on that sunny 25°C afternoon, they told us that they couldn't take us. No explanation why, no apology, the person seemed to get annoyed at me for asking more questions. Zero accountability. All the other nearby restaurants were closing just at that time, so we ended up not eating. Mozza completely ruined our family day out (and we drove for an hour to have lunch in Saint Andrews).

This place has went so downhill since it opened. They took my order, served the beer and returned 20 minutes later to tell me they are out of italian sausage. I picked another pitza and they charged extra for chorizo and a service charge. What a disgrace. There is an italian delicatessen 4 doors away. Not rocket science to send someone along to get italian sausage. Won't be back.

Visited Mozza after a few months break. Pizza was delicious. We both opened for No 5. Disappointing that chilli oil is no longer offered - much prefer that to the chilli flakes. Service was okay, albeit a little clinical. Food and drinks were ordered and delivered to our table promptly. Atmosphere was a little disappointing for a Saturday eve. Very quiet and no music playing.

Unfortunately our visit to Mozza St. Andrews was a huge disappointment. It took nearly two hours for food to arrive. We were told that one of the two chefs had walked out leaving the other struggling to catch up with orders. I am not sure what happened but the staff were inattentive in comparison to what I would expect in an Italian restaurant. Maybe all just too tired by the end of the day. Although the bill was reduced a bit in compensation it was a spoilt night. I would not recommend this place even though the pizzas were extra large.

Pizza di standard buono, impasto fatto bene e cotto al forno. Ingredienti ricercati anche se lontani dalla qualità italiana. Penso che essendo in Scozia non si possa fare di meglio.

Sad to post that service and food were very disappointing. Long wait for drinks and food order to be taken(1.5hours) Items for some pizza toppings were unavailable ( thought it strange as table was available fairly early on in the evening). Food was less than luke warm. ‘Hairs’ found in two of four pizzas 😣. To be fair , Staff did seem very pressed for time . They did offer reduced payment and were very apologetic. Some compensation was made , but overall it was a disappointingly ,expensive family dining experience.

Brought out a prosecco when a rose was ordered and we said it was wrong and told them what we ordered and they brought us a rose prosecco. Brought out one pizza, put it in the middle of the table and asked if we wanted sharer plates for out pizza (we ordered 4 pizzas, one each) Told her we were waiting on another 3 pizzas so why would we be sharing, 5 minutes later our pizzas came and the server gave us dirty looks. Pizza sauce was odd and lumpy, dough was soft and really weird as if it hadn’t been cooked properly. Waited around an hour for the pizzas and they weren’t very nice. Would not recommend to anyone, the servers have no work ethic and are really slow at getting the pizzas from the counter they walk really slowly with them it’s absurd.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Pizza was close enough to Neapolitan style, and the crust wasn't too burnt, which is good. Ingredients clearly fresh. Locally made buffalo mozzarella not nearly as juicy as in Italy, but tasty enough. Service very good, and prices quite reasonable.

Pizza was okay but very soft crust. Other pizza places are better. If you going to be there and they make the crust crispier then I would recommend it
