Delicious food! Absolutely try the local pie and dessert of the day. The staff was kind and responsive, and the place gave really local pub vibes. Although a bit old-fashioned, we had an overall positive experience. Peaceful and relaxing to eat at!

Not somewhere I would go now, when Davide owner this place it was amazing. Since it was taken over and changed to Nero I have not really bothered with it. Owner and chef very nice but Gabrielle the waiter is a bit hands on with the other staff and diners for my taste.

Absolutely brilliant weekend. Family time with sister brother in law, brother sister in law and sister’s sister in law and husband. Well that’s a bit of a tongue twister. We had a fabulous weekend together. Weather wasn’t great but the service and meals made up for it. Food was of the highest standard. Good quality and healthy home made recipe’s with plenty of it made our visit all the more special. Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Very clean with an emphasis on Covid 19 safety precautions. Every member of our group agreed that they would certainly go back for another visit, so we have booked rooms for the same time next year. What a lovely little cafe the welcome as soon as you walked in made all the difference. All the food made freshly burger looked home made and I have never had a toastie with so much cheese oozing out and on tiger bread it was lovely. The selection of cakes and ice cream are mouth watering. Myself and grandson were stranded as we needed to get back to ferry not realising there is no bus on leaving the owner stopped his car and went out of his way to take us to ferry what a lovely thing to do proves there is some lovely people out there. We will definitely return a gem of a place thank you

Great choice for the three of us. Good coffee as well as excellent food. They were happy to split the bill two ways so my friend and myself could pay for the driver's meal between us. Not many would offer that facility

This is an amazing place to stay, excellent rooms and exceptionally clean. Staff attentive breakfast is a feast in itself. Will most definitely be back

We went here for an impromptu lunch today. We both had fish and chips. I'm not a chip fan so asked for a jacket potato with butter and this was not a problem. The battered fish was the best we've tasted in recent times. Beautiful and sparkling fresh with gorgeous big flakes. The owner told us it had only been delivered at 12 noon and it showed. The jacket potato was delicious and so were the chips The tartare sauce was great and so were the mushy peas. Completely flawless. For 2 generous portions and 2 diet cokes it cost £26 and it was worth every penny. We'll be back

Lovely restaurant went as a party of 5 most had Sunday roast beef dinner it was delicious 1 had mac & cheese also delicious,deserts amazing,happy friendly service will defiantly be back 😊😋

Went with my family for dinner tonight. We got a warm welcome on arrival and the staff were very attentive. The choice was ample and would please all tastes. The portions were more than adequate and freshly made. I would strongly recommend that you give the Cornhill a try but book in advance as very busy restaurant.

Sailed here, having started in Bodo, Norway. Enjoyed Westray and the Pierowall Bar/Restaurant. All 3 of us were happy with our food in the restaurant and drinks from the bar. Realised there was what seemed like a 'locals' bar when I walked to the toilets.
