Went for the dinner tasting menu. Overall great value but I feel it started strong and didn’t finish well (I had the veggie version). Service was I think too relaxed, we were waiting a really long time between each course.
Ross the member of staff today couldn't be
More helpful.
Came here today as my son had given me a gift voucher for wine and charcuterie.
Excellent experience.
Ross has to be so in love with his job.
Gluten free not a problem.
My wife was so impressed with service . Ross took the time to advise different dishes and showed different menus.
The boars head croquettes were wonderful as was the pork. Equally stunning was the potato dish that Ross recommended to my wife.
Free cocktail to the wife and a free pudding for me cos its my birthday.
Wonderful service.
We will.be back
We went to this place for the first time after having couple delicious deliveries, we just knew this place will be a hit! What can I say, staff, atmosphere, service and of course food - amazing. Its so hard to find such good service in the area. All the food that was delivered to our table was fresh, chicken in our curries was nice and juicy NOT DRY like many other places. Nan... Popadoms... Rice... delish. And to top everything off its actually very resonably priced. Nice decor, you can definatly have a celabration dinner there. Oh and one last thing which
I personally really like is no paper napkins on the tables but the classy material ones!

Tried here once and never been back to Greggs since. Breakfast roll fillings are ten times better. Staff are lovely, especially Jessie, she’s just a star!!
Have tried to visit here on three separate occasions and unfortunately still not able to get through the door. Having driven past and seen scones and coffee advertised we stopped but were greeted with a multitude of signs saying it was residents only and you had to call in advance . Driving past a week later we thought we would stop again having seen the sign out the day before. Again we weren’t able to cross the threshold . It’s a shame it’s a nice looking place and it ihas outdoor space that literally in a year I have seen one couple sitting at . I’m not sure what’s going on - perhaps staffing issues but I’m not sure I’ve gone to a stranger place that advertises on a public raid that it has refreshments but then doesn’t let you in
El desayuno vegetariano era delicioso y de gran valor. Estaba realmente impresionado por el personal amable, la calidad de la comida (por el precio) y su esquema Pay Forward que ayuda a aquellos que necesitan apoyo localmente. ¡Visitar!
Grande Salvatore, orgoglio italiano in terra scozzese!!
Ottimo tutto! Nomi irripetibili dei piatti che sono stati veramente ben eseguiti ed equilibrati.
Ci siamo sentiti orgogliosi nel vedere l’impegno di tutto lo staff nel farci sentire speciali….bravi bravi bravi!
Took a late last minute booking, attention to detail by our waitstaff was great. The young lady was always checking the glassware before serving people and very interactive.
Was a please to eat here and would ho again.
Sea Trout was excellent as were the scallops.
Atmosphere was great, parking ample.
Seats comfy and not squished in to table.
Do not go to Rosedale Hotel in Portree very bad at everything.
We visited today for some lunch. The food menu was varied and reasonably priced. The drinks cabinet had only a small selection but we all found something we wanted. The staff member on the till was lovely. There was quite a wait on food but I felt it was worth it as everything was lovely and hot and as far as I could tell it was made to order. We are deducting one star for cutlery not being readily available (it was busy so it was understandable)
This cafe served the worst scone I have ever had / didn't have. (and that's saying something as I'm in my 70s and have had a few in my time. You could build a house with a few of them. Inedible expensive rubbish.
It came in a paper bag, no plate and a wooden disposable knife which struggled to cut it.
The coffee was served in a paper cup. But was drinkable. Cost over £13 for two coffees and two inedible scones. I am disgusted and will definitely won't be back
We had the hotel breakfast as we were actually on our way to Cairnryan for the ferry. The breakfast was typical Scottish food served and cooked just fine. The hotel experience was very nice with all staff most helpful. One thing to note is that there is no taxi service on Sunday morning before 8:00 a.m. so if you have an early ferry there is no way to get there without a car. Later in the morning there is a bus service to the port area. The port area is about 15 minutes away by bus.
