Dam Good Coffee at Gartmorn Dam in Clackmannanshire

Excellent as usual though due to family commitments, haven't been for some time. Friendly accommodating staff hot food available. No dogs inside but outside tables and chairs, weather permitting. Once you've eaten a brisk 3 mile walk around the loch. What's not to like.

Terrific food and superb service with very friendly staff in a glorious setting. Truly excellent value.

Just popped in for a coffee to go whilst out with the dog. Lovely strong coffee in a big cup and very reasonably priced. Glad to see the place open again and will definitely be back.

Superb home baking excellent coffee at a Very reasonable price. Staff are excellent. Plenty seating nearby and a few tables outside and in. Great walks nearby with carpark right next to the establishment for the less mobile.

What a great wee coffee shop. Perfect for a lunch …I had mushroom melt with Gouda and red onion on ciabatta with salad & coleslaw. My wife had her fav bacon Brie and cranberry toastie . I gave the dirty chai a go and wasn’t disappointed it was lovely. Great service and friendly Thanks girls !!

We dropped in after a walk round part of Gartmorn Dam. The café is fairly small but very nice with a good range of food on the menu and including a children's menu. The staff were very pleasant and the food we had was of excellent quality. I can recommend a visit to Gartmorn Dam and visiting this café at the end of your walk would round it off nicely.

Visited on Wednesday 7th July ordered tea coffee and sandwiches. When young girl brought our drinks over she lifted my cup with her hand fully over the top and also my husband’s instead of using handles in current pandemic I would have thought staff would have more idea then when our sandwiches came my husbands was completely different from the one he ordered very disappointed on this occasion

Can't beat the all day breakfast and a great walk on the doorstep to work it off. Includes tea/coffee and toast. If that's not enough there's a great selection of cakes too.

I go to this place a lot I found it February last year. me and my husband absolutely love this place the staff are so friendly the food is fantastic. the cakes and cheesecake of awesome, there is a great range of vegetarian options and they have suitable vegan selection as well.

Went for a late breakfast and had missed the breakfast time cut off but they said it was fine. They accommodated my children’s requests too. Food was hot and tasty and hit the spot. Well priced compared to some other local cafes. The takeaway from passing walkers/bikers was bustling. Will definitely return. Only small thing was the tattie scones weren’t the best but everything else was great.

Very tasty gluten free options. We had a lovely lunch of grilled sandwiches, followed by cake, accompanied by hot chocolate, latte and tea. Excellent service. It was all very welcome after a brisk walk around the reservoir on a crisp beautiful day.

Another visit to this lovely café. This time as a small family group for brunch ... 3 delicious full breakfasts, plus sausage and beans for my granddaughter. Super friendly staff, who engaged genuinely with all of the customers. My son wholeheartedly recommends the Ferrero Roché cheesecake!

We found this cafe after a lovely walk around the dam. Delicious food (including a wide range of home baking) with quick service and such friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this little gem and I am sure we will be back!

We visit this cafe as often as we can (not so much recently as we no longer have a dog to walk). Always a good selection of cakes - last week's strawberry sponge was one of the best we've tasted anywhere. Good lunch menu with some interesting specials. Recommended.

The staff are very friendly and willing to adapt to your needs. Most food is prepared on site or brought in from local producers. Great for coffee with friends or a family meal.

What a great weekend place. We had sandwiches, pancakes and luxury hot chocolate. All were delicious! The staff were great and very accommodating of our fussy 10 year old. We would definitely go back.

After walking the dog stopped here for a coffee/tea and a cake. Excellent as usual and a a reasonable price. They also have cages for dogs or misbehaving kids if you want to sit inside. What more could be asked for.

The name says it all. Full breakfast served from 10am to 11.45am. Soup and sandwiches coffee/tea, cakes, scones all very reasonably priced. Proper plates and cups no cardboard rubbish here and water for the dog too. Can't really fault it

A lovely wee cafe, excellent snacks and cakes and a little gift shop too. Dogs are well catered for too, with water bowls provided and cages available if you want to eat inside and leave your muddy pets safely outside.

After a lovely walk round the Dam we went for Afternoon Tea/Coffee the service was first class and the meringues were amazing. we will back another day to try some of the fabulous soup that were being served up.
