The freshly baked muffins are huge and utterly delicious. They also have a wide range of syrups for flavoured coffees as well as other hot and cold drinks. There’s a god selection of sandwiches, wraps, panini, etc as well as a few other cakes. The service is good, though it can get very busy - a testament to how good it is.

OMG. My partner and I had dreadful breakfast rolls served to us. Eggs were like leather - we asked them to be flipped, the bacon was ok but the roll itself was so dried up, burnt and cut my mouth. We just left and will never be back

I think the tea served here is the best in the shopping centre and their muffins are brilliant.....they have a good gluten free and dairy free selection. It’s nice and open....easy to take the buggy to and there is a big interactive screen opposite that will keep the wee ones amused while you finish your coffee

Bought a orange chocolate muffin for £2.10 and it tasted as if it was brown dough , plus it had no filling in the centre - just lots of dough . Not good . Also had choc crispy cake which the crispies were stale and the very dark choc was soft like melting , normally hard . Anyway it was not a new box of rice crispies they used . First visit and not returning .

Just saw this place while on the way out from the mall. Thought of getting some cake slices as a fake away. Ordered 6 cake slices. Expected a nice packing for those, but what I got was slices wrapped in paper plate and in a plastic bag. Disappointment? Yes!But I am not ignoring the fact that the service was awesome. Liked the people there. Welcoming...Cakes are ok. Would recommend the Strawberry cheesecake.

First time here. Good choice of eats - lots of muffins too. I had a cappuccino and a blueberry muffin. They were both ok - nothing great. Service was friendly enough and the place looked clean. Probably wouldn’t rush back as there are so many nearby options.

Went today as part of my birthday treat. Latte was okay but muffins dry. I was recommended the apple cinnamon one and it was dry and not nice. I got a chocolate one instead and this was also dry. I have had many different types of muffins in the past most are usually from supermarkets as pack of hours and honestly have to say supermarket ones are far superior than the dry muffins I had today. I was pretty hungry and only managed to eat less than half of the muffin. My wife took a bit and was disappointed too and also felt too dry... I phoned contact number on website and informed them at 1433 today and the man I spoke to just apologised. To be honest I expected better customer service and most would of offered some form of compensation but none offered. I had joined there loyalty programme today and gave the man my loyalty card number to remove me from database. I won't be back.

We visited here recently and it was a great experience! We chose two different wraps to share and both were delicious! We love coffee but hate a very strong, bitter experience so asked as we ordered - what a lovely server - wish I'd got her name!! She made us Americano coffees with one shot but added two small jugs with the extra shot should we require part or all of the second shot!! We have been all over the world but never before been provided with this solution!! Top marks to your barista on the 22nd August!!

The same wonderful faces greeted me and I got the same great treatment, it's like walking into a friends or family place. The redecoration is well thought out and not with garish loud colours, the wall menu's are plain to see and the whole effect is one of comfort to browse, people watch (my main occupation) and just let the world go by.Thank you Muffin Break for making my day.

The bucket seats, of which there are only a few may be looking a bit old but they are really comfy and always in demand. Went with a friend and I had a capocinno and a fruit scone. The woman serving shouted "any hot drinks" before I had even reached the counter. I was looking at the scones and deciding what to have and felt this was a bit rude. I moved to the counter having quickly decided what to have only to wait while she made coffees for another customer so I didn't get the rush to order. My total came to just under £5.00! The scone was stodgy and dry so I should have taken it back but its something I hate doing. My friend ordered a toastie and tea (hers came to £7.85) and we were told to sit down. The assistant then came out with a sour face and handed it to my friend without a word or a smile. I wouldn't rush to go back and would advise a crash course in customer service for the staff.

Me, I'm normally a costa or Starbucks drinker, there everywhere and easily accessible. Today I met my friend for a coffee, she suggested muffin break and I thought I'd give it a go and worse case scenario is have a water. However i was pleasantly surprised and very happy to see that not only do they cater for dairy free diet with soya milk but they do dairy free muffins. It's been a long time since I've had a cake with my coffee after changing to dairy free diet... I enjoyed having a muffin today and I will not hesitate to skip Starbucks and Costa and enjoy my coffee at muffin break. I'm converted.

What a delight it is to be served by these friendly young people. Welcomed as if you are an old friend. They have a loyalty card and every 6th cup of your favourite beverage is free. I usually have the coffee and have a cream on the side. Lovely coffee, not bitter like some but smooth and strong flavoured. The toasties are well filled and varied and a choice of white or brown breads. The cleanliness here is second to none. Well done Muffin Break, a sure winner.

My son who is 17yrs old starting his first part time job with muffin break in st Enoch's Glasgow, disappointingly my son was sacked in his second shift which he volunteered to work to help muffin break out because they sacked the person the day before, my son unaware as he was told she walked out. My son was sacked because he was told he didn't work fast enough all he was aloud to do was load and unload the dishwasher got into trouble for stacking cups wrong when he was hired he was told he would be serving customers not doing dishes this company should be ashamed of themselves treating young people this way is awful it's hard for young people without being took advantage of.

Wouldn't advise or in courage any one to work here as the way staff are treated isn't good. On your first day you load and unload the dish washer in 2minute cycles each time, inbetween that you had to hand wash the blender jug and lid, trays, anything that can't be washed in the dish washer, clean and clear tables and talk to customers as they leave or enter the store. You get a list of things you must say and can't say such as "can I get you anything?" Or "next" you can't say this. The customer service staff were lovely but the staff in the black t-shirts wouldn't give you a minute you couldn't do right from wrong. The training staff would tell you your doing things correctly then tell management behind your back you weren't working hard enough. Where I worked myself and another member of their staff that I know of we're sacked within 2 days of working for them for the same thing which was "Not working hard enough."

Religiously visit Muffin Break every week for a family coffee. The cakes are fantastic (perhaps a bit expensive) and the coffee is one of the best around. Staff are friendly and you get more of a 'local' feel rather than visiting one of the big chain coffee stores. Worth a visit for a coffee, cake and/or scone! Also do a points card where you get free hot drinks after so many purchases.

The food is top tier but I can never decide between the fish (sadly not Cod but once you taste it you won't care) or the sausage which is the greatest I have ever had not made by my dear old Mum. The staff are dlightful and the locals friendly.

Delightful little restaurant... comfortable and intimate. Great choice from the menu. I had seafood for both courses which was hot fresh and delicious, the mussels were from the main menu and the hake and scallops were from the specials board (recommended by the waiter..good choice!) for dessert I had the quirky edible book...it wasnt a good read but it tasted great! The restaurant was full which is always a good sign! Nice lighting and music complemented the polite and attentive service from the two servers at the front for whom nothing was too much trouble. Nice chat with the owner too who had time despite it being the end of the night! I would recommend this place to any one for all the reasons above and will seek it out again when I come back to East Kilbride! Thanks to all at Once upon a Table!

Discovered this gem of a chippy after finally giving up on The Palace after years of going there. They just don't know how to do a decent fish supper and don't seem to care either. Gino's, on the other hand, is fabulous. I have never eaten such light, crispy battered on such thick, succulent haddock. The fact that they throw in tartare sauce and lemon just makes it extra special and the owner is a nice chap too. Please keep up the standard and I will never go anywhere else. Congratulations!!
