Brilliant chippy best in the glasgow by 100% and the foods the best and you get your money worth . Wouldn't go any other chip shop. Best in glasgow by a million and staff are always good and respectful. Order from here u food is always roasting hot when delivered and Brilliant customer service 💯

My daughter took us here for a take away...very impressed with the service, the staff and the food was brilliant - it was very busy so we had to wait but all the food was freshly made! We're visiting my daughter again this weekend and will definitely be heading to Gino's for our evening meal!

FAR clear of the gino’s in stepps. Mother alive now thanks to the staff, who interact many times with the opposite gender. :)

Great little find on Blantyre High Street. Popped in for Pizza on my break from delivery driving. Friendly staff who clearly have a loyal and regular clientele. Decent prices and terrific service.

Excellent independent chip shop. Best fresh oven baked pizzas around. Ginos fresh chilli paste added to chicken pizza is excellent. Family deals on pizzas and pastas are worthwhile too.

Great chippy, usually has fritters ready, wife loves the fresh made pizza.

Good old fashioned real chip shop chips.

Place doesn’t deliver so I need to go and get it my self and with the kids it’s hard and they don’t take cash so it’s not ideal so many more places you should go :(

Was recommended Ginos Chippy by a friend we visited last night, got pizzas and pastas for the family and wow! Never tasted Italian food so good from a chippy ever. 100% will be back.

Pasta n pizza absolutely amazing. Never been disappointed with Gino's. Staff so friendly and go out of their way to make sure that your order is ready and looking amazing. Anyone who uses Gino's and has his pasta must try the Delizia Amazing.

Staff too busy talking to serve was almost walking out when they finally acknowledge I was there them the batter on the food was rock solid only redeeming thing was the chips were not too bad would I use again no no no

An amazing chippy, first time I've actually had a chance to talk to the staff after being only a phone customer the past few months. Food is amazing,.the staff friendly and the price is reasonable. The kids love the big massive 16in pizza. The pastas are lovely also.

Was in tonight ordered food no problem. Stood waiting when the fryer started shouting wheres your mask. U said im no wearing a mask for good reason .thats all u need to know. Oh and by the way wheres yours.i dont have to wear one.he then started on a rant about no respect for me not wearing a mask.i then told him again i dont need to explain to u why im not wearing a mask i have health issues and you have no right asking me as far as im aware its up to the person whos not wearing to judge unfortunately this isn't the first time this guy has been rude for no reason.hes never got any fritters and sulks if u ask for some.ive personaly witnessed him verbally abuse staff.gino is a gent .why do u employ this guy.

Great staff always up for a catch up and the Special Fish is the best I've had for many many years.

Went tonight and had to pay 9.70 for a special fish with curry sauce. Firstly the sauce tub was literally only half full then the fish looked like it was rolled out thin by a rolling pin. No thickness to the fish at all. Chips where not the best, no crisp what so ever. Was actually quite disappointed. £9.70 for a sad supper.

Nothing exciting. The only chippie in High Blantyre, gives you no option. Would be nice to have some crispy chips

Gino is the worst chippy in Blantyre, only go here if desperate. The chips are an absolute disgrace always brown as 8f they are leftovers, very big disappointment.

Having not long moved to Blantyre , we were recommended this place by a friend Friday night I went in after work and the place was packed so this obviously was a good sign We got a fish supper and a pizza crunch The fish and pizza were nice but the chips had seen better days We will be going back

Great chippy and amazing pizzas

Bought a fish supper and took it home to find the fish had an awful smell so I went back to the shop to let them know. Before they even smelt it for themselves I was met with confrontation about how the fish was fresh. I didn't say the fish wasn't fresh but why would I go all the way back if there wasn't something wrong with it! The server smelt it and said there was nothing wrong with it while the fryer guy (not Gino) is also coming at me saying there's nothing wrong with the fish, he wouldn't have cooked it if there was and I can go through the back for peace of mind if I want. When there's other customers in the shop I don't understand why they would make a scene like this. I was highly embarrassed so I had to walk out the shop. Their customer service was absolutely shocking, granted they offered me a fresh fish but when the previous one made me feel sick why would I accept, no offer of another meal or a refund.

I go there 2 times a wk my husband loves there fish I love all there food it's a great chip shop and one just about 15 min from my house

Pizza and pasta are top notch, it's a shame Gino has to be there to make it. If he is not then it's just pizza :(

nice food cooked here although sometimes its a hit and a miss you really need to get gino on the fryer to get the nice food when hes not there food is always under cooked

Christmas Eve 2014 & I find myself visiting relatives in Blantyre. Decided to save on the cooking & go for a Pizza, chips & a sausage supper from Gino's (Not for the first time). Ordered, 16" Spicy Chicken Pizza Large chips Sausage Supper Visited Gino's & walked in to order. Christmas Eve & there is a big queue. A good sign as to the quality of the food? Oh yes! Pizza & other items duly ordered. Waited 10 minutes while Pizza was freshly made, prepared & cooked in front of me. What can I say? Not for the first time, Pizza was delicious, chips were pipping hot & crispy & sausage supper was great with a hint of spice within the batter. Have tried Gino's several times when visiting relatives in Blantyre & there has been no variation in quality. It's been superb every time, very consistent & very good value for money for the amount charged. What would make Gino's better? Perhaps if Gino's would do some special offers on different days. Perhaps buy one get one free on 10" Pizzas, or meal deals etc. My favourite go to chip shop in Blantyre.

By far the best chippy in Blantyre! Lovely soft chips every time. Good value for money too. I usually get a fish supper and this comes with 2 large slices if fish, no other chippy compares to the taste.
