Well I guess I went in there to get a coffee and a sandwich and then went back for lunch it was average I was in the cafe 1st time on my own and then I went with a friend
We went to the café twice as on arrival we were ready for a cuppa and enjoyed lovely brownie, blondie and coconut slice. At lunch we enjoyed Lorne sausage sandwiches and salmon panini. The coffee and tea were very good quality too and the prices were very reasonable..
Uno de los pubs más famosos de Glasgow. Un ambiente ecléctico que se sale de los standards del Pub tradicional. Tiene Música en vivo y murales muy llamativos en la fachada. No está permitida la entrada a menores
Attended here myself to try their pizza. The owner/manager could not have been any ruder than he was! Think his name is Gordon… Pizza base was rock hard and I think the toppings had been seen in those containers for weeks! AVOID

Great friendly restaurant. We were a group of newbies and the restaurant tailored a starter with most of their delicacies. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the welcoming Grill. We'll surely visit again.
very very tasty tika masala and nann bread and very nice service and a scorching hot chicken korma and rice with it and some lovely plain chips would definitely recommend to everyone.
Fantástico pequeño lugar en Great Western Road. La comida es deliciosa, el personal es muy atento y la relación calidad-precio es muy buena. Muy recomendable.
On a rainy day in Peebles this was the first café we came too.So pleased we did.We both had a toasted sandwich, lots of filling. Also had a piece of coffee & walnut cake,an Ecclefechan, 1 latte,1 pot of tea.Total cost £17,very good value for money.
Three course lunch deal for £13.95, exceptional value. All courses were tasty with just the right amount of food for lunchtime. Drink reasonably priced, will definitely return.
The food we had today was of mixed quality and the price structure seems a bit odd - the 'panini' was overpriced and burnt and tasted more like a toasted roll, the toastie was good and the cakes were nice quality. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful whereas some of the others need to work on their customer service skills a little bit. We normally enjoy going here, so I might write this off to being a bad day! I will also read the menu a bit more carefully next time as some items definitely seem to represent much better value for money than others!
Nice place to stop off for coffee and cake. Really friendly and helpful. You can find them on the main street in Newton Stewart. They are closed on Mondays.
Terrible experience.
Facebook page said it opened at 11am, it didn’t open until 12, the closed sign stayed on the door until the 4th customer entered and asked if it was open.
Took 20mins to get a coffee although we were the only people there. I ordered all day breakfast plus size (extra £3) but the menu didn’t say what you get for an extra £3. It was one piece of haggis & one piece of black pudding, both weren’t great.
Sausage was cheap, the egg was overcooked and crispy on the bottom, beans were watery, bacon ok.
I asked for toast. It came on top of the breakfast which made it soggy, i had to ask for butter and a side plate for the toast, i got possibly stork, it certainly wasn’t butter, i had to ask for the plate twice.
Still only two of us to serve.
The salad roll was ok, the coleslaw wasn’t coleslaw, it was chopped up lettuce & cucumber with mayo.
It came to £22.00
Not worth the money, service was poor although it was a nice setting.
I paid with cash (2x £20 notes) they didn’t have change. I was given £8.00 change and informed the staff i was £10 short.
They didn’t have anymore change in the till.
Between two staff to ‘mustered’ up a £10.00 note between them.
Really really poor you cannot it right (never mind wrong a few times) with two staff for only two customers.
I wouldn’t go back if the food was free.
