**A Delightful Breakfast with a Blonde Twist!** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After reading a handful of reviews online about the *attitude* of the blonde lady at this café, I figured I’d pop in and see if I’d be the next unfortunate soul to fall victim to her alleged "bad vibes" — spoiler: I wasn’t. In fact, I had one of the most pleasant breakfast experiences I've had in a while. It was a rainy Friday morning, I had my dog with me (who, by the way, is strictly not allowed inside — fair enough), so I asked if I could sit outside. Without skipping a beat, the blonde lady appeared with a smile, took my order, and even offered me some great substitutes for things I didn’t particularly like on the big breakfast. (Very accommodating, I must say!) But here’s where it gets *extra* special: She didn’t just take my order, she also threw in a free sausage for my dog, who was living her best life with a little playtime from the lady. I’m pretty sure the dog had a better breakfast than I did. After I finished my meal, which was delicious by the way, the blonde lady came out to collect payment, and we had a fun bit of banter — me being English and all, I like to think I brought some charm to the table. But the point is, it was a *pleasant* exchange — no attitude, no cold stares, just good vibes all around. Let’s be honest: People are quick to complain online, especially without ever bothering to address an issue with the staff directly. It’s easy to write a review when you’ve had a bad experience, but not everyone gets the chance to speak to someone first and see if the problem can be fixed. If you’ve read a bad review, take it with a pinch of salt. I found my experience to be nothing short of excellent. So, if you're thinking about coming here based on some negative reviews — ignore them. If you’re open-minded and have a good attitude yourself, you might just find a delightful blonde lady (and some tasty food) to make your day. I’ll definitely be back for round two! P.S. Been coming here many times for years and it never fails to be amazing, the food is incredible and the staff are always so lovely and kind! Every year the staff are so welcoming and friendly and it really adds to the atmosphere.

Go every now and then and get the same thing to be charged different prices each time (always a takeaway never sit in) , only writing a review now because this time our lunch was £17.20 for a toasty and a panini, it was not a toasty it was cosy bread and the panini was dripping, the pasta and salad was wet and the crisps were soggy, not happy at all

Dog friendly and disabled accessible not at all. After booking lunch and asking about the accessible assess for a tour I was told not a problem for both but on arrival only assistance dogs and no lift to get upstairs for lunch. A real waste of my time. Lots of staff standing around chatting. Might be nice whiskey but not great service

Small place with fantastic food made from the heart. We went 2 times for breakfast. We ordered Bread with mexican beans and avocado. This is a delicious plate. We also had pancakes with fruitsauce, also delicious. We also had tea and a coffee called "Cortado". I lived many years in the Canary Islands where it is from, and you don´t see this coffee elsewhere. she know how to make it, thanks, lived it.

Been a while since I last visited. Food was gorgeous, friendly waitresses gave great service. Clearly popular. Compliments to the chef. Halloumi bagel and lentil soup went down a treat, I'm not a big fan of salsa but this one was gorgeous.

If the restaurant actually existed, it may have been the best ever place we’ve eaten at. As it turns out Shangri La is probably an apt name for a restaurant which is imaginary. Unfortunately we walked for about a mile and half to discover its been repurposed as a shop.

Best breakfast in town. Great service and very friendly. Great choice of food and drinks. Been a couple of times and it beats 90% of cafes/restaurants in Dunfermline. Would definitely recommend cafe on the cobbles Dunfermline.

Great place for a coffee. Fantastic setting, cosy and comfortable, friendly staff, great coffee and reasonably priced- highly recommend

Staff really friendly, venue very nice too. Food was good, with great sized portions, only reason for not giving 5 stars is that some our food was not as warm as we’d have ideally liked but to be fair it was busy & we were a large group so suppose it’s hard to get timing right & with it being a very cold night even though venue wasn’t cold, food will cool faster.

Delicious sandwiches and coffee with excellent selection of Italian goods. The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. Will be back again.

Very disappointed today. All coffee shops closed at 5pm or earlier today and I found this little nice Artisan Cheesecake to get a coffee. Came at 5pm, you have open till 6pm but your staff disappointed me as being told 1 hr before close time that she cleaned the coffee machine and cannot make me a coffee while coffee was on offer on board! I wanted to buy the bagels too but really left the shop. Won't be back again!

Superb. 4 guys on a golfing trip and this was a great find. Nice vibe inside the restaurant and casual decor. Service was excellent - beers and wine ordered, and I'm not joking, at our table within 30 seconds. Food delivered promptly and it was authentic Thai full of flavour. Would happily return.

Fue a través de un vale que se compró para el cumpleaños de la esposa, la decoración podría mejorarse, pero la comida y el servicio son buenos. Los entrantes elección limitada debido al trato, pero ambos artículos buenos queso macn y bombers de chile y tocino, recogedores de esposa bombers, pero los bombardeó demasiado picante, así que intercambiamos. Plato principal estaba destinado a tener hongos, pero ninguno allí, esposa hablaba Alex (camarero gran servicio) y fue rectificado rápidamente. Lo único que mi esposa no estaba contento con era salsa de ajo extra £ 2. 00 no mucho allí ver foto, olla pequeña. Quisiera volver. SÍ.

We know the Tongue area very well, and like to eat locally, so it was obvious we would decide to eat at the Craggan, and i'm happy we did! The restaurant area is welcoming and clean, staff friendly, and the car park was easy even with a big van. The only problem was choosing from the menu! So many tasty things - i wish we had more time to visit again.. All three of us enjoyed our food, and we shared everything so i know it was all delicious. Thank you for making a rather wet evening so special..
