After waiting for a table we was sat at a dirty one eventually cleared mostly then when asked to clear the rest tried to bring starters on a dirty table and then gave our glasses and poppadoms to another table absolutely disgusting..
We opdered 2 coffees and sat outside. We were told u cant use the outside seating if u order takeaway. Also if someone else wants to sit out side, u will have to move. WTF!? There are plenty more options and alternatives to this place in Kirkintilloch. I suggest you try these first. 👍🏼
I booked a table for lunch for 3 people on Saturday 29th March for 1.30 pm.
We had a drink at the bar and ordered our lunch. It took an too long to come to our table. We all ordered the same beef and Yorkshire pudding for our main course.
The meat was so tough we all had difficulty cutting it or eating it and it came look warm. The Yorkshire pudding was slightly war, dry, not nice. For a Chez Roux restaurant our lunch was very disappointing We did get an apology and our meal was deducted from our bill. We left still hungry. Not what we expected or wanted.
Service was extremely slow and no one came and asked if everything was satisfactory.
It was a special treat for my son who had come flown up from London and to be with us on Mothering Sunday. All very disappointing.
We got married in the hotel and have very happy memories. Such a shame. Not up to the standard we expected. Such a shame. We did get reimbursed for our main course but that doesn`t come near our expectations. Such a shame.
A night off from cooking and we ordered a treat from one of our favourite Italian restaurants. We ordered via Deliveroo so from ordering our food to delivery, it was very easy and straight forward. We ordered two pizzas to share along with the very moorish Cajun fries. There is a reason why we order from this restaurant, the food is fantastic. From the pizzas to pasta to the fantastic cocktails, you can see the passion has gone into the food with great ingrediants and presentation. We loved our food and your pizzas are the best in Perth!
Nipped in for breakfast, unplanned and just passing. Really friendly, brilliant service and top quality fresh food. Crispy bacon Roll, Sourdough toast, and Eggs Benedict .. top notch with quality pot of loose leaf tea. Too full to sample the cakes on offer, but will be back for sure in the future. Thanks
All i can say is this is the best place to eat in Nairn and probably in the surrounding area. Food is awesome, the menu has a good mix of food advertised and as I've eaten there so many times I have tried just about everything at one time or other and i have never been disappointed. If I could recommend one plate that is my favourite, it is chicken fajitas, they are awesome (I always ask for an extra wrap as you get a lot of fajitas). Every pakte you get served tastes great, and there is plenty of food no matter what you try. Staff go over and above to ensure you have a pleasant stay and serve you quickly and ensure all isnok with you food and ask if you need anything whilst you are there. As I said previously, it's the best place to eat in Nairn.
Great experience , Anya and Darren are a wonderful couple
great personalities and people persons a prerequisite for the "Sidings Cafe" , the quiche and Darren's pastry is to die for likewise Anja's magic cakes .
A visit is unforgetable ,

Went for a meal here lastnight. The staff cant be more helpful, nice and quiet but good atmosphere. And the food was amazing. The south indian curry was perfect, and the mrs had large chicken purri for a main and loved it also. Will be back..
Extremely atmospheric, great whole-food, outstanding range of teas. Pure magic. Difficult to find up the wee lane off Otago Street but well worth any effort.
This is a lovely gallery to visit, with the RSA just across from it, it holds paintings by many famous & historic artists - such as Van Gogh, Johannes Vermeer, Claude Monet & many more. Definitely worth a visit & as an art student, it’s influential.
When we arrived seated no problem. Whilst waiting to order 4 other tables that came in after us were served first. I had to ask eventually to place our order. We were then served lattes barely hot. And one of the orderd were wrong but we waited that long just ate it. Only good thing we got to take our dog in. Tbh though I think it got to busy after we arrived for the young guy to cope on his own
Nice place to eat, visitor centre but well set out. Lunch was nice & pet friendly. Free parking outside. Staff gave Misty bones to eat whilst we had our lunch.
For a bit of me time! I come here for a cuppa and treats in the form of yarn and cake! There is plenty of choice in both making decisions difficult, but there is always friendly help at hand. I really can recommend the cherry and coconut scones and rocky road... both the best I have ever had.
