Called in for tea and scone at this coffee shop. Great location on the Main Street. We were looked after by Emma, Emma, Abby, Janice and Cheryl. All were so friendly and attentive. Husband and I popped in for lunch. Ordered two toasted sandwiches but although the bread was toasted, the fillings were stone cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. It was more like a sandwich made with toast, rather than a toasted sandwich, disappointing.

Husband and I went for a sandwich and coffee. I ordered a coronation chicken sandwich and when it arrived it was a chunk of bread filled with the chicken, small salad and coleslaw. No crisps. One bite and I had to ask for mayonnaise as the sandwich was so dry. Very disappointing and charged £8.50. Better places to eat in Prestwick and better value. Next time we are visiting Prestwick I will be giving it a miss.

Staying with friends in Prestwick, out for a walk and came across Bramley’s coffee shop on Main Street. We were only in for a cup of tea but the menu was so inviting we had an early lunch. Unusual and different lunch ideas to tempt the palate and it didn’t disappoint when it arrived. I had the Eggs Benedict on sour dough with spinach and chestnut mushrooms and a beautiful Hollandaise sauce. A nice cup of tea in my own teapot finished off the surprise lunch. Definitely worth going back next time we are in Prestwick, to try some of the other different lunch ideas.

I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch in here. Lots on the menu to choose from. We opted for the Scottish Stack which was delicious (missed the beans though!) and there was a lovely choice of home baked cakes. My husband loved the carrot cake and I was too stuffed to try anything else! Lovely clean coffee shop and nice, friendly service. There is also a a wee garden area to sit out in if the weather is lovely or if you have brought a furry friend along. Would definitely return on my next visit to Prestwick.

Excellent brunch and tasty coffee! I ordered the eggs hollandaise with a side of mushrooms and spinach, and my partner ordered the avocado on toast. The black Americano I ordered was fresh - rich and flavourful. Agree with all the positive reviews here. A great place for a meal! Oh and I forgot the amazing carrot cake - moist and perfect with delicious icing and a nice dollop of whipped cream on the side

We have become regulars here because the food and service are simply outstanding. Today we had the halloumi benedict with a side of Stornoway black pudding and the black eggs with a side of bacon - both were a triumph of flavour and presentation! The only complaint was we had no room for the delicious home baking. Don’t miss this place if you’re headed to Prestwick, you won’t beat it for friendliness, value for money and fantastic food.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and soon had us seated with menu's. I opted for the soup/ sandwich deal that costs £5.95 and my friend choose the soup/ toasted sandwich deal ( comes with fries or salad) for £7.95, there was 3 diffferent soups on offer and a whole variety of sandwiches. The mushroom soup with Tarragon was delicious and the Tuna mayo and red onion sandwich was so fresh and tasty. My friend had the same soup as i did , she said her cheese and onion toastie was well filled and the salad was very fresh. The bill for our lunch which include a pot of tea and a Latte was less than £20 and worth every penny. Took a walk from Troon along shore to Prestwick High Street where there’re more eateries than you can shake a baguette at… but ignored them all to go to Brambles on the strength of a local saying best soup and sandwich. My heart sinks at this type of lunch but my wife loves it. Dutiful husband mode won and we went in. Busy place at about 1:30pm. Only one table left and it was reserved for 2:15pm so the ?Owner freed the table for us. First point to Brambles. Perused menu… nothing too fancy, second point to me and my dislike of soup and sandwich combos. Spotted cakes. Another point to brambles. Good selection. Ordered toastie with no salad and just coleslaw. Point taken away from Brambles as the coleslaw portion was same as if I had salad ( please ma’am, can I have more ? ) pretty miserable TBH. Sandwich really nice though and wife’s choice of salad wrap with salad ( and coleslaw ) was generous on the salad side and well filled wrap. Coffee excellent. Bonus points to Brambles for coffee. Cake looked better than tasted but fair play, I may have chosen wrong but wanted to fill coleslaw hole ; )

Popped in for a coffee with my gran and 9 year old. The shop was very busy and I would say the table we were sat at barely was enough room for 2. Good value soup, tray bake and tea deal for £5. The soup was larger than expected and was nice. Loads of choices too for the cake. There was not a lot of room at the table for everything with the size of plates and I had to put my pot of tea on the floor beside me. My grans coffee and scone were only brought once they had been asked for twice at the end only to be told the were not ordered? funny since it was a deal and I had had mine (which was finished by the time gran got hers). The biggest issue for me was that the cafe allowed dogs. The shop was already full with every seat taken and a couple sat next to us with a dog and i am very allergic. The dog was also unsettled and made a lot of noise and moved around a lot.I like dogs as much as the next person but not when im eating in a crowded place.

My boyfriend always asks for pastrami and after they took it off the menu the owner told us he would have it next week for him and he kept to his word. In addition to this if they do not have gluten free bread in they pop down the street for it, excellent service. It's a lovely little coffee shop to sit in and it has a nice patio outside for sunny days. It is on the prices side but you pay for what you get!

Went here for a chat with a friend one weekday morning! It was busy! Good to see the place doing so well. Good choice of fruity teas and yummy banana bread!

We visit Bramley's Coffee Shop on a regular basis. The food is excellent - always fresh and cooked to order. The scones are fabulous and always have interesting flavours - personal favourite? Has to be lemon and poppy seed! The deals are terrific, i.e. soup and a sandwich, coffee and a scone or tray bake, etc. AND the staff are fabulous - friendly and professional. What's not to like?

Five of us arrived in Prestwick around lunchtime on Saturday 16 April. Decided to visit Bramleys for lunch. Smiling, attentive staff who put two tables together to accommodate us. The various combos, I had soup and a scone with a pot of tea. Big bowl of soup - brie and broccoli - mmmmmm! A rhubarb and ginger scone - right fine, all for £4.95. Fantastic, well worth a visit if you are in that neck of the woods.

I have visited this restaurant many times and have never had a bad experience yet.The staff are all very friendly and excellent at their jobs. The food is fantastic and the menu choice is excellent with three kinds of home made soup every day and a great selection of toasties, sandwiches, wraps, paninis and ciabatta melts and each one comes with salad or fries, you can also get great cakes and flavoured scones, and at a very reasonable price. There is also a lovely decked outside area which is a great suntrap during the warmer months.Richard the owner also holds theme nights regularly (where you can BYOB) and are so popular you need to book quickly to get a table.I totally recommend this lovely little diner but be prepared to wait for a table as it is usually full during most lunch times. If your in Prestwick make sure you check it out and I guarantee you wont be disappointed and you will definitely return.

This was a masterclass from the second we walked through the door. Young guy at the counter was just the right level of friendly and was so welcoming. I'm picky with food and coffee but this was outstandingly perfect.

Went on a small adventure to Coylton Arms Inn. I have to say we will be back, the food is very good, a well seasoned lasagna with plenty of herbs, nice béchamel sauce and a good salad and french fries. The only small criticism was the lack of staff which made the wait slightly longer than necessary. The staff themselves were extremely welcoming and the ambiance was charming without being twee. Portion size was good without being excessive. All in all an enjoyable experience that I would recommend for a pub lunch.
