Indos Cupar Restaurant and Takeaway in Fife

We popped into Saffron Curry House in Cupar for Granny's birthday, and honestly, it was a really nice evening. The staff were super friendly, especially with Granny, which was lovely. The food was tasty – no complaints there! And the service was spot on, everything came out quickly and we were well looked after. If you're after a decent curry in Cupar with a relaxed vibe head to Saffron Curry House. We had a great evening!

We had a great night at Saffrons, it was a special menu for Valentine night, 7 starters all were good, main and then sweet all served by Afia who was brilliant, informed us on each course and was very entertaining with her descriptions. Definitely will be going back especially if they do this kind of menu again. Archie

Superd. Never disappointed. Food is the best in Fife, we were a bunch of drivers that are trouble, but the staff can’t do enough for you. This restaurant wouldn’t be out of place if it were in Edinburgh. Brilliant ❤️

Delicious meal, would recommend!

My husband and I popped in at the weekend for dinner, as we hadn't had food from here since it changed from being Indos. Both of us enjoyed our curry, the only downside for me was I felt my garlic nan was a bit bland, but I do love garlic so could just be personal taste. However, the service was honestly some of the best hospitality I've experienced all year (far better than the 4-5 star hotels across scotland I've visited over the last 18 months). Well done to the front of house staff, especially those training up the younger staff, you're doing a brilliant job. Honestly loved our visit and will definately be back.

Friendly local restaurant with tasty food and good service. I had two veggie sides as a main, and they were both tasty and generous helpings. The paneer tasted like it was homemade, which is a bonus. My companions enjoyed theirs, too, and the waiting staff made us feel very welcome.

Delicious food and very attentive staff. Head chef visited each table to make sure everything was as it should be. Friendly, cosy atmosphere and we'll definitely be back.

Best vegetarian Indian meal Ive ever had! Seriously Food was delicious, chef altered a hot dish to make it milder for me and it was superb. Vegetable Manchurian👍 The menu is extensive and plenty of both Vegetarian and vegan options. I couldn't eat it all and took it home for next days lunch at the office. The staff were lovely, warm, friendly and attentive without being too much. Ive no idea why the review rating is only 4.2 I’d give it 6 if I could.

Had a few issues with collection - they were really busy and running behind on orders. Pleasant, apologetic staff, a comfy sofa to wait on and five star food made up for it though!

Popped in for lunch. We each had the Thali where you choose two mains from a choice of nine, plus lots of sides are provided too. The food was amazing and the staff are friendly, helpful and keen to ensure you enjoy your visit. Great value for money too! Highly recommended

Food excellent,service wasn’t the quickest and although they served chicken instead of lamb in main meal,the food was still delicious. Couldn’t eat all meal asked for leftovers to be taken home,they brought out tubs to scrape our own plates,not ideal for other diners to see.

Lovely meal to celebrate a special birthday. Lamb Rogan Josh and mushroom rice was delicious as was the Garlic Naan. Thank you to the staff for the added treat of a birthday cake at the end... really special. We will be back 😃

Went here for the second time under new management. On it is on for a late lunch. There is a seperate it is on menu but it had our favourites on it. Very flavoursome and good sized portion. I ordered a cocktail - there were various on menu to be told that the staff were not trained up to make them! Don’t have on menu if not available. Bit of a google how to make the cocktails listed on menu would be advised. Ended up with water. Please address this cocktails are very trendy to drink atm

Absolutely great Fish Molle, good mix of spices, coconut and well cooked tilapia fish, Attentive staff. Very good range of vegan/ vegetarian/ gluten free options.

Went to the Saffron this evening. All 4 meals were absolutely delicious. I can honestly say that it was one of the best curries I've ever had. I am from Birmingham, the home of the balti, so that means alot.

We ordered 2 chicken dishes whilst the meat was good the sauce completely ruined it due to it tasting floury.

We have been here before. But booked a table for my birthday. Service was great as always. Meals were brilliant. Pakora & onion bahjis starters lovely and just enough. Korma main was delicious. Partner had the tikka masala and that was delicious. We will be back.

Authentic Indian food.....full of flavour and spice.....if a little heavy on the heat sometimes! Well worth a visit! Was very busy the night we were in....but service was not delayed markedly! Excellent service 10/10 establishment!

Went for the first time recently and we really enjoyed it. The food was great, we had some unique Bangladeshi dishes that were full of flavour and spiciness. The staff were amazing and hospitable. We enjoyed having a chat with them and they were very accommodating.

Took a mate to see if it was better than St Andrews and he was well impressed with the delicious food we had and will definitely be going there in future.

My experience here is always fab. Though I was bit confused for today as I didn't make any reservation and just popped in. But the lovely waitress accepted us very cordially and made a good place for us. Though it was busy but they never disappointed us. Food came at right time and was mouth watery as always. I will tell them to keep this kind of service up. Very much recommended 👌

Best restaurant and takeaway in cupar

Today I visited Indos cupar and the atmosphere was lovely. Their lamb bhuna is best. Though it was busy but service is best and helpful as always. I would highly recommend for them who has never try Indos.

Recently visited this Indian restaurant with my friends and was impressed by the menu. The service was great. The menu offered a vast selection of traditional dishes, making it difficult to choose just one. I ultimately decided on the butter chicken and was not disappointed. The tender chicken was smothered in a rich. The standout dish was the tandoori chicken tikka, which was cooked perfectly and served with sauce and pilau rice. In addition to the excellent food, the service was top-notch. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. They were attentive to our needs and ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend this restaurant for its unique twist on traditional dishes and excellent service.

Only gave 1 star because I can't give 0. Booked delivery at 15:34 for between 17:15 & 17:30. Got confirmation of delivery for 17:20. When the meal hadn't arrived by 17:50 I called for an update only to be talked to like I was in the wrong for calling and that timing was outwith their control and hung up on. Chips were cold and had been salted, the mixed starter was greasy and I ended up seriously ill from the prawns in my curry. Used to love this restaurant but I will never be back

went tonight for buffet after being reccomened by a friend. to say we are disappointed would be an understatement! we arrived at 6pm and the buffet was practically empty. chicken pakora and mushroom was the only starter left, everything else was empty. then on to mains, we had some rice with a spoonful of curry sauce as there was nothing left! everything was empty. In the hour and a half we were here the only things replenished were 1 portion of chicken pakora and some chopped lettuce. complained and were given 10% off the bill, which honestly didn't cut it as we have paid £55 and now need to stop for food on the way home. definitely won't return

Came here with a group of friends last night and we all had a great meal, served by a very attebtive and patient waitress. Main courses and sundries were great.. The ice cream and coffee could've been a bit better quality, hence the 4 stars only. Will still definitely come back if we get a chance.

We had a club gathering there with a buffet, all of which was delicious. Service was excellent and the ambience just right.

Dishes all gone up 5 quid each for the open....that soad the food was tasty and plentiful but 22.95 for a mixed grill is steep

Not sure if you have changed your chef or your recipes but my takeaway last night was way more tasty than previous takeaways! Loads more spice, heat and flavour! Keep it up!

Being as regular a customer as I can afford to be, I ordered my go to meal for one last night (22/04/22) to treat myself. The vegetable pakora was very burnt and very greasy. The chicken in my vindaloo was solid and inedible, and the sauce, although okay, was very salty. The pilau rice, pakora sauce, spiced onions and poppadums were nice hence the one star. I'll be going back to my previous regular restaurant 'The Shenai' from now on. Although they don't do meal deals, I'd rather pay a little more for less, but better quality food!
