Popped in for lunch. We each had the Thali where you choose two mains from a choice of nine, plus lots of sides are provided too. The food was amazing and the staff are friendly, helpful and keen to ensure you enjoy your visit. Great value for money too! Highly recommended

Food excellent,service wasn’t the quickest and although they served chicken instead of lamb in main meal,the food was still delicious. Couldn’t eat all meal asked for leftovers to be taken home,they brought out tubs to scrape our own plates,not ideal for other diners to see.

Lovely meal to celebrate a special birthday. Lamb Rogan Josh and mushroom rice was delicious as was the Garlic Naan. Thank you to the staff for the added treat of a birthday cake at the end... really special. We will be back 😃

Went here for the second time under new management. On it is on for a late lunch. There is a seperate it is on menu but it had our favourites on it. Very flavoursome and good sized portion. I ordered a cocktail - there were various on menu to be told that the staff were not trained up to make them! Don’t have on menu if not available. Bit of a google how to make the cocktails listed on menu would be advised. Ended up with water. Please address this cocktails are very trendy to drink atm

Absolutely great Fish Molle, good mix of spices, coconut and well cooked tilapia fish, Attentive staff. Very good range of vegan/ vegetarian/ gluten free options.

Went to the Saffron this evening. All 4 meals were absolutely delicious. I can honestly say that it was one of the best curries I've ever had. I am from Birmingham, the home of the balti, so that means alot.

We ordered 2 chicken dishes whilst the meat was good the sauce completely ruined it due to it tasting floury.

Best vegetarian Indian meal Ive ever had! Seriously Food was delicious, chef altered a hot dish to make it milder for me and it was superb. Vegetable Manchurian👍 The menu is extensive and plenty of both Vegetarian and vegan options. I couldn't eat it all and took it home for next days lunch at the office. The staff were lovely, warm, friendly and attentive without being too much. Ive no idea why the review rating is only 4.2 I’d give it 6 if I could.

We have been here before. But booked a table for my birthday. Service was great as always. Meals were brilliant. Pakora & onion bahjis starters lovely and just enough. Korma main was delicious. Partner had the tikka masala and that was delicious. We will be back.

Authentic Indian food.....full of flavour and spice.....if a little heavy on the heat sometimes! Well worth a visit! Was very busy the night we were in....but service was not delayed markedly! Excellent service 10/10 establishment!

Went for the first time recently and we really enjoyed it. The food was great, we had some unique Bangladeshi dishes that were full of flavour and spiciness. The staff were amazing and hospitable. We enjoyed having a chat with them and they were very accommodating.

Took a mate to see if it was better than St Andrews and he was well impressed with the delicious food we had and will definitely be going there in future.

My experience here is always fab. Though I was bit confused for today as I didn't make any reservation and just popped in. But the lovely waitress accepted us very cordially and made a good place for us. Though it was busy but they never disappointed us. Food came at right time and was mouth watery as always. I will tell them to keep this kind of service up. Very much recommended 👌

Today I visited Indos cupar and the atmosphere was lovely. Their lamb bhuna is best. Though it was busy but service is best and helpful as always. I would highly recommend for them who has never try Indos.

Best restaurant and takeaway in cupar

Recently visited this Indian restaurant with my friends and was impressed by the menu. The service was great. The menu offered a vast selection of traditional dishes, making it difficult to choose just one. I ultimately decided on the butter chicken and was not disappointed. The tender chicken was smothered in a rich. The standout dish was the tandoori chicken tikka, which was cooked perfectly and served with sauce and pilau rice. In addition to the excellent food, the service was top-notch. The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. They were attentive to our needs and ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend this restaurant for its unique twist on traditional dishes and excellent service.

Only gave 1 star because I can't give 0. Booked delivery at 15:34 for between 17:15 & 17:30. Got confirmation of delivery for 17:20. When the meal hadn't arrived by 17:50 I called for an update only to be talked to like I was in the wrong for calling and that timing was outwith their control and hung up on. Chips were cold and had been salted, the mixed starter was greasy and I ended up seriously ill from the prawns in my curry. Used to love this restaurant but I will never be back

went tonight for buffet after being reccomened by a friend. to say we are disappointed would be an understatement! we arrived at 6pm and the buffet was practically empty. chicken pakora and mushroom was the only starter left, everything else was empty. then on to mains, we had some rice with a spoonful of curry sauce as there was nothing left! everything was empty. In the hour and a half we were here the only things replenished were 1 portion of chicken pakora and some chopped lettuce. complained and were given 10% off the bill, which honestly didn't cut it as we have paid £55 and now need to stop for food on the way home. definitely won't return

Came here with a group of friends last night and we all had a great meal, served by a very attebtive and patient waitress. Main courses and sundries were great.. The ice cream and coffee could've been a bit better quality, hence the 4 stars only. Will still definitely come back if we get a chance.

We had a club gathering there with a buffet, all of which was delicious. Service was excellent and the ambience just right.

Not sure if you have changed your chef or your recipes but my takeaway last night was way more tasty than previous takeaways! Loads more spice, heat and flavour! Keep it up!

Being as regular a customer as I can afford to be, I ordered my go to meal for one last night (22/04/22) to treat myself. The vegetable pakora was very burnt and very greasy. The chicken in my vindaloo was solid and inedible, and the sauce, although okay, was very salty. The pilau rice, pakora sauce, spiced onions and poppadums were nice hence the one star. I'll be going back to my previous regular restaurant 'The Shenai' from now on. Although they don't do meal deals, I'd rather pay a little more for less, but better quality food!

Firstly the good points The young ladies working in the restaurant are polite and friendly and the establishment appears clean, pity the food isn't of the same standards Visited at 3pm Saturday for a takeaway and there were zero customers in the restaurant and only myself awaiting a takeaway , unfortunately I was to learn why Chicken jalfezi did have quite a lot of chicken in it but was very over spiced indeed, the onions within the sauce were green in colour and both them and the peppers were massively over cooked and mushy ,also half a dozen whole cloves of garlic within the sauce, unpleasant. The jalfezi was swimming in oil/ ghee (see photos of the kitchen roll used to soak up the grease, this had to be done again whilst reheating). The nann was the worst I've ever seen and had zero garlic butter on it , and believe me I've eaten in a lot of Indian restaurants, burnt cardboard springs to mind (see photos) I cannot believe a cook/chef produced this so called meal when he had 1 customer to cook for, god only knows what he may produce when busy . I've included a photo of my receipt as proof that this is NOT a malicious review. I did call the restaurant to complain but the manager was otherwise engaged, yeah right!!!

Completely, Inconsistent very late order 35 minutes late ordered from the just eat app at 3.30 pm the meal was supposed to be delivered at 6pm. and to say they are expensive for such poor quality is an understatement. almost £60 for a family of 4 for poor food. We have used this business a few times had a break before because of inconsistencies but won't be ordering again. No more chances, too much money for the quality.

Well, I placed an order for three meals via the Indos app, no problem so far. I got home and unpacked only two meals although the receipt had been ticked with all the items so obviously the staff member hadn’t checked the order with what was packed. I phoned Indos to let them know and ask for my bank account to be credited back for the missing meal. “Sorry I can’t do that was the reply”. “The best I can do is get the missing meal delivered to you”. So two people are meant to eat and one wait for however long before their meal comes and they eat alone. Not good hence one star. Tip: check you order before you leave.

I've just returned home after having a wonderful lunch at Indos ! The waitress was shy but lovely and answered my menu questions fully .I had the curry platter with lots of delicious wee bowls to investigate whilst my nervous companion stuck to his favourite dish of fish and chips ! We both thoroughly enjoyed our day out . Thank you Indos .

Good grief!! That was AMAZING!!!!! We have heard from friends how good Indos is but we didn’t expect it to be THIS good! Thank you so much for the most incredibly delicious and perfect takeaway we have ever had. (I can’t tell you how serious this review is… to give you a little idea… my husband is a diehard Chinese takeaway fan - he claimed this evening that he’s fine if he never gets a Chinese again if he can have Indos all the time) Thank you Indos - your chefs are brilliant!

Great food and good service but the ambience left something to be desired

Everything was delicious! I fell in love with the chicken korma and my husband with the Bhonna gosht. The mushroom rice really surprised me because I'm not a big fan of mushrooms but I really enjoyed it. We didn't manage to finish because of the generous portions, so we asked to take away. The owner was super friendly and the service neat and very conscious of covid safety measures, delivering the food to our table with a trolley. Next time, we would like to try the Indoos in Broughty Ferry :)

Cosy restaurant with attentive staff and owners. Meal was delicious and satisfying. Portions were generous and server advised us against ordering too much which was very kind of him. Server gave an extra portion of curry gravy to go with the rest of the dishes ordered! Recommend this to those who visit Cupar.

I ordered a takeaway from INDOS last night I was told it would be 30 to 45 minutes at most. 1 hour and 40 minutes later still no food! I had phoned up a few times. When I called at 1 and half hours into my waiting time which is unacceptable! I spoke to manager who didnt seem to care he just said sorry. He did however say he would call me back in 5 minutes and i would get discount of my next order...5 minutes passed and i received a call, not from him as promosed but the young girl...who said sorry and that was it. I ended up cancelling my order...how very disrespectful to customers and for a new business in a small town....I won't be back and my family and friends wont use this Indian now either...
