Koku Shi Inverkeithing in Fife

Sushi was not cold and nothing really tasted like sushi from any of the places I've ever had it (30-40 times in the last 10 years). Imitation krab used as well instead of real crab. Haggis roll was alright, as was the tempura, but definitely not going back. Quality was less than supermarket sushi.

Fantastic food full of flavour. Just tried the Okonomiyaki and it was amazing. Also can highly recommend the Hosomaki fish set in Tempura sushi. Always get great food, so can highly recommend.

Sushi was ok. Small ball of wasabi, thanks god I had something at home. Quantity of ginger was enough. Two table spoons of soy? Please… sea food looks in100% frozen in my ramen. broth should be clear and dark but wasn’t. Chicken katsu 6/10. Delivery on time. I’ll leave 3 star only for sushi coz was fresh and service was pretty good. Unfortunately can’t recommend. Value doesn’t equals quality. Sorry guys

Absolute disgrace. I order 2 seafood ramen the photo is the seafood i recieved for 16 pounds. I think the bits of fish is tuna. The picture from the restaurant shows big prawns all around the dish. I had none! 1 piece of squid 🐙 and morsels of tuna ! Total rip off ! Wont be back.

No information that this is only takeaway not a restaurant with takeaway options. Food looks good but its bland.

Sushi was delicious, they happily adapted one of the items on the menu so my daughter could try. We've loved everything we've had so far. Good vegan selection as well.

We didn’t realise it was just a takeaway but when we go there, they took some tables and chairs outside for us!! AMAZING customer service and definitely worth the price! The baked salmon teriyaki maki was the most delicious sushi I’ve had for a while! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!! Definitely will be visiting more often

Lovely staff, fantastic food and a beautiful shop floor. Couldn't have found better japanese cuisine if I searched for it.

I have to admit, it's taken me 3 months to visit (so sorry!) but tonight, I'm glad I did. The ramen really is top notch. It's almost like being back in Tokyo but without the 24hr soundtrack of the pachinko arcades across the street and slurping of noodles from the customers around you. Noodles were perfect, vegetables were crisp & fresh and the beef was perfectly cooked. Not much else to say apart from........Sugoi!!

The food is made of high quality. Never tried Haggis before wasnt a fan but the Haggis balls and it was delicious! The ramen was just right with the spice and sweetness. Great hygiene and clean environment highly recommend :)

Jessica is Godness of sushi. I ordered a tempura sets and was very impressed by her skills. Very pleasant and cute chef. Every time I order I know that she will do her best .

If you want to spoil yourself and get really delicious sushi, here is your place to go! Customised food, friendly stuff and affordable prices. I am not a big fun of higgis but Katsu Curry blowed me away. We will definitely come back! Thank you guys.

The staff at the Inverkeithing store were extremely friendly and welcoming, the service was good and the food better, I highly recommend stopping in if you haven't already. The Sushi and Katsu curry are my recommendations.

Absolutely delicious! I had the Chicken Ramen, Tuna Nigiri and Salmon and Avacado rolls. Ingredients fresh and really tasty. Great to watch the team cooking and prepping the food while I waited. Would highly reccomend. I'll certainally be back!

Excellent food! We usually use the branch in Dunfermline, however we thought we'd try the new one in Inverkeithing as it is closer. The quality is still as good, it's easily our no.1 choice for a takeaway locally.

Grim would summarise this experience. Sushi was sloppy. Chicken dish was raw. Spoke with them just after we had started to eat the raw chicken and they were more interested in telling me how good they are and how much they cook things properly. Wont be back there. They gave us a full refund.

Really sad to say that we were so disappointed with our meal from the new Inverkeithing location - the quality is nothing like that at the Dunfermline restaurant. Ordered a massive delivery of three maki and premium rolls, miso soup, spring rolls, and chicken ramen. Sushi arrived soggy and the premium baked salmon roll wasn't rolled properly and completely fell apart. The miso soup was tasteless, like they didn't use barely any miso paste. And the ramen came without enough broth, no boiled egg and was just really underwhelming. All of this and the 20% discount on the website was never applied to our bill. Overall, this was not the same standard as we've received from the other restaurants and we're sad to say that, for the massive price tag, we probably won't be getting delivery from this restaurant again.

Bought sushi to try locally as normally would have sushi in Edinburgh. Food tasted off and not fresh which was unfortunate as was very much looking forward to it. Could have been better.

Just finished a fantastic lunch from the new Koku Shi. Really great sushi, so fresh and flavourful. My bank balance is going to suffer as I work my way through the menu!

Great lunch today. Lovely fresh chicken teriyaki salad and maki tuna. Fast and friendly service despite it being their opening day. Great addition to the area. Looking forward to working my way through the menu.
