Schottische Tradition pur!
We booked a table for 26th December for our anniversary and although we have lived in Mauchline for a year we had not visited before. My husband had nachos followed by a pasta dish and tiramisu for desert I had feta and cranberry parcel followed by duck and then toffee apple crumble all the dishes were absolutely amazing, the staff were attentive and friendly it was faultless cant wait to go back.
Popped in hungry and ordered two soups. Lentil , hot and delicious with a warm crust roll and proper butter. Perfect. Tried the fruit scone and wasn’t disappointed, warm with jam and cream ( whipped not clotted but still very good) really lovely homely food just what we needed. Would recommend

What a lovely wee pub this the staff are a lovely bunch of people made us feel welcome From the moment we went in too the moment we left and what a great Saturday night we had be sure too say we will be visiting again for another fantastic night
A night off from cooking and we ordered a treat from one of our favourite Italian restaurants. We ordered via Deliveroo so from ordering our food to delivery, it was very easy and straight forward. We ordered two pizzas to share along with the very moorish Cajun fries. There is a reason why we order from this restaurant, the food is fantastic. From the pizzas to pasta to the fantastic cocktails, you can see the passion has gone into the food with great ingrediants and presentation. We loved our food and your pizzas are the best in Perth!
We had a lovely valentine's meal here. The hotel decor is a little dated and jaded, but boy do they make up for it in the food! They gave us a beautiful red rose ,which I thought was a nice touch, and the staff were well trained, attentive courteous and polite. The food could not be faulted,it was so good. The portions were bigger than we anticipated, and after a starter and main ,we were both fit to burst. Afterwards the waiter insisted we had a limencello, another nice touch we thought. Would definitely return ,but I think we'd share a starter next time.
AMAZINGGG tempura! Worth looking at their Instagram to check which days they’re serving it. Super cute tucked-away place with a warm atmosphere. Mixed tempura rice bowl in pics <3
Came for an overnight and had the dinner package.
Food is well priced and gorgeous, the service is excellent.
The wine choice and cocktails are tremendous.
Well worth a visit. We will be back
All i can say is this is the best place to eat in Nairn and probably in the surrounding area. Food is awesome, the menu has a good mix of food advertised and as I've eaten there so many times I have tried just about everything at one time or other and i have never been disappointed. If I could recommend one plate that is my favourite, it is chicken fajitas, they are awesome (I always ask for an extra wrap as you get a lot of fajitas). Every pakte you get served tastes great, and there is plenty of food no matter what you try. Staff go over and above to ensure you have a pleasant stay and serve you quickly and ensure all isnok with you food and ask if you need anything whilst you are there. As I said previously, it's the best place to eat in Nairn.
Called in for coffee and cake and met the charming and friendly Abby. She was so helpful during our visit. She was always smiling and charming. A great asset to the shop. Menu caters for all tastes. Well worth a visit when in the area. Will definitely be back.
Great experience , Anya and Darren are a wonderful couple
great personalities and people persons a prerequisite for the "Sidings Cafe" , the quiche and Darren's pastry is to die for likewise Anja's magic cakes .
A visit is unforgetable ,
This is a lovely gallery to visit, with the RSA just across from it, it holds paintings by many famous & historic artists - such as Van Gogh, Johannes Vermeer, Claude Monet & many more. Definitely worth a visit & as an art student, it’s influential.
Extremely atmospheric, great whole-food, outstanding range of teas. Pure magic. Difficult to find up the wee lane off Otago Street but well worth any effort.
