Great food, and quick delivery.

Staff took my order at desk at 17.25 tonight. At 17.55 I had to ask if I was getting my supper tonight. Staff didn't seem to know anything about my order (No.13). Gave them my copy of the order and 10 minutes later I got my order - with a token apology. Fish weren't very hot and were very thin/small for what is an expensive dish. Won;t be going back.

Fish was good. Chips were soggy. Pre-ordered but food was 15 mins late for pick up. Tartar sauce was missing from order.

The best haddock. Batter excellent and moist fish. Yummy.

The Sea Salt at Dyce is significantly better and the service is very much we don't need your business which is a same as the product is good but the overall product is better at the Dyce location.

There is a few diffrent ways to order, including online, over the phone or in person. There is a good selection of food on offer and and the food is not greasy.

Ordered online, ready on time, freshly cooked, crispy batter, delicious haddock and chips......really tasty.

The Dyce and cove branch are absolutely banging however first time at bridge of Don this Tuesday passed and the serve was atrocious. Ordered Fish and steak pie suppers, fish slightly undercooked with no lemon even when I requested one and was told it’s comes automatically by the staff member. The steak pie was rock hard around the sides and looked like it had been sitting for three days. Very disappointing as never had a problem with the other branch’s.

Food is very good tbh. Pricey for a Chipper and wait times can be long but is good nonetheless

Really good fish and chips here! Everything cooked to order good-sized portions, the batter on my haddock was perfect, just right mix of soft and crispy, protected the most haddock meeting a beautiful cooked taste and texture. Popular place with good parking, they allow online and phone orders. Competent, capable staff, not friendly on my last visit, just did their job.

Food is always lovely. The king rib supper is delicious, rib is a generous size and batter on it is crispy. Katsu chicken fillets are another favourite. Again a generous portion of chicken breast fillets, we always have the breadcrumb rather than batter, sauce is tasty. Like that you can order online & just turn up at ur allocated time to collect your order. Lastly the staff are all really pleasant. Highly recommend

The best gluten free fish and chips I've ever had. Beautiful fish and crisp batter. Great helpful service. Highly recommended. Regular fish and chips and chicken fillets were very much enjoyed by the rest of the family too.

This is THE BEST fish and chips shop in Bridge of Don. Everything is fresh and crispy, never greasy. Plenty of great options on the menu. It’s quality is well known, and it is always busy, so order ahead!

Service is always good and the food is consistently amazing. Batter is always crispy and the fish is always perfectly cooked. Chicken goujons are always great too. Best fish and chips I wouldn't go anywhere else and I'm from Yorkshire where they have some of the best Fish n Chips! Mushy peas are proper as well, none of that canned rubbish. We always go for the lite bite/pensioners supper as it is more than enough.

Ordered online for collection 2 haddock suppers in panco breadcrumbs. Generous size of fish & loads of chunky chippy chips. Delicious 😋 Shop was really busy . Got served really quickly & staff are really friendly.

Went to get 2 portions of langoustines only to be told they don’t do them anymore. Update your website as I travelled specifically for langoustines. Not impressed.I left with nothing.

Lovely crispy fish and chips. Home made tartare sauce is worth paying extra for. So much better than the Ashvale nearby. Can’t fault this takeaway at all.

My husband and I both had Haddock and chips last night which was very dissapointing due to fish being very greasy

Staying with family over Christmas and New Year and between us we had the fish, the battered vegan sausages, the white pudding, chips,peas and curry sauce. All were cooked to perfection, ample portion sizes and fair prices. We had them to takeaway so can't comment on dining in, but it is easy to see why the family prefer to get their food from here rather than closer establishments. Thoroughly recommend.

We’ve been using sea salt and sole since we moved here 2 years ago, always with no complaints. However this is the second time that we’ve bought ‘haddock’ which was horrible! It was a soggy fish, not nice and flaky as a haddock should be. Tasted more like pollock or similar. We have it a second chance, but that’ll be the last

Ordered 2 haddock n chip suppers, actually received 3 small pieces of fish, two of which I'm reasonably certain were not haddock. The chips were not brilliant, ok but...I ordered from here a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic but given this evening's meal, sadly, we are highly unlikely to use this fish a shop again in n a hurry

Looked in boxes in car n went straight back and showed 2 staff with boxes open and queried why gluten free battered fish was half the size of non gluten one. Was told it was the curled tail!! and same weight! Far from it. Picking up both, gluten free fish was much lighter! Kids size fish. Nice batter, but shame it couldn't be admitted it was not a standard haddock. Nice chips. Came from other end of town to try this shop.

Wow this place is amazing I ordered a fish supper and I knew I had to wait as everything was freshly cooked from scratch,got it the chips were roasting hot and the fish just broke away in your finger tips and it was worth the wait and value for money would defiantly be back again if in the area

Best chipshop in the area by a long way. Some different choices too. Panko bread crumb, gluten free batter. Homemade Tartare sauce is great as well.

Finally got round to trying this place last week and it was well worth the wait. Fish supper was excellent, good size piece of fish and lovely crispy batter. Hunter’s chicken was fantastic, great flavours and a meal on its own without the very tasty chips. Service was also excellent; picked a collection time slot online and it was ready waiting for us as expected. Will definitely return soon.

It took 20 minutes to place an order and then another 20 minutes to receive the order. The food is good but service terrible.

Hubby had the large fish and chips, he loved it. I had the katsu chicken oh my the portion was huge! 5 pieces of chicken in a lovely spicy sauce would highly recommend but be warned portion is large. Managed to eat half.

Ordered jumbo haddock plus haggis pudding suppers. Nicely cooked and chips very good. But the fish was very small for a large fish portion. That made it poor value for money

Absolutely first class, I did ponder this for a while. I have visited a fair amount of chippers in my lifetime but this is probably the best you are going to get in Aberdeen. Amazing piece of fish and quality batter and no skimping on fresh hot chips. Its amazing how many chip shops get the basics wrong but not Sea Salt and Sole. It does command a little bit of a premium price but well worth it. Visit it and tell me I am wrong or enjoy 😉.

Getting too greedy with online orders, when they first started doing online ordering they would only accept a certain amount every 15mins, now it’s chaos and don’t even bother to put salt and vinegar on your supper, used to be good now terrible like the rest of them

Instead of a large got a medium piece and a small piece. Small piece tasted and smelled old. Not pleasant to bite into. Not what I was expecting for the price. Would not come back.

Sea Salt and Sole has single handedly ruined fish and chips. As a Yorkshireman fish and chips is an important and much loved staple diet. My gf raved about SS+S and I did not believe her apparent lies and exaggeration. We bought it the first time and I was instantly impressed. No lie, the food is fresh and hot, tasty and it is devoid of all of the gunk and grease that you will get elsewhere. The service is fantastic, the chip shop itself is really nice to order from and I've never been disappointed. I do enjoy spoiling myself with fish and chips but whenever I have tried the local neighborhood ones I've repeatedly come home dissatisfied - neither food quality, taste or service is as good. SS+S has two chippies both needing a drive out - but I wholly recommend making the trip to get it, its the only place outside of Yorkshire i'm happy to buy from.

Be a few times and it is a really good chippy, the chips are very good, the fish is really nice and fresh. Today I had the langoustines which were nice but unfortunately the sand traps hadnt been removed which was disapointing, will stick to the fish next time.

Ordered from here tonight. Fantastic food made to order. Prices are quite reasonable and the food is beautifully cooked. Batter is light and the fish melts in your mouth. Decent sized portions too! Staff are friendly and polite. Kitchen has a gluten free side all to itself and therefore caters for dietary requirements! Will definitely be heading back!!

I've been numerous times since it opened. The queues can be quite long at times. The chips are always really good as has the fish and haggis. However, I've twice tried different chicken options and both times they've been very greasy. The chicken has been all slimey and horrible. I would avoid the chicken, but everything else has been really good.
