AJs Pizza & Pasta (Union Grove) in Aberdeen City

I've been coming here/the one on Gorge street for years now. Cause simply they do the best pizza in Aberdeen. Everything done to order with the freshest of ingredients, generous with the toppings and always cooked to perfection.

Second time ordering delivery. First time ordered on Deliveroo, they completely ignored my order & I called they had binned my ticket ( I had paid also ) so waited 4 hours for a pizza a few months ago, I didn’t write a review as I thought it was just a mistake or 1 off. Tonight again I ordered but through the AJ’s website to be told about an hour. 1.5+ hours. Ordered at 6:24 it came at 8pm… freezing cold. Probably won’t go again. If they are busy I’d just leave it as you’ll probably get forgotten about

One of the best!!! Pizza shops in Aberdeen, nothing can beat this place, the top was NYP in Aberdeen but since they’ve closed AJ’s has been the best, food cooked to perfection with amazing flavours.

Decent pizza, heavy to digest. Bit greasy. Used to be much better unfortunately, the quality went a tad down in the past year.

The Staff is awesome, the food is freshly made and handled with care. Great pizza. Thank you.

Twas a night back in May that I must feast for a late night dinner. Everything was closed and we needed something to eat. As I walk down the street I was looking for options as I arrived in aberdeen late from a long flight overseas and came across this place. The pizza was so good and fresh, and I must say whatever pizza I ordered here may have saved our vacation as I went to bed so satisfied I felt like I could conquer every castle in Scotland. Thank you AJs.

Such a good pizza, collection is very easy and the staff are so friendly. Probably won't bother with Dominos etc anymore

Ordered late (pretty much closing) off of Just Eat and called to confirm. They were absolutely lovely and the driver was amazing. My partner is a big fan of this place, it was my first time having it. As someone who is not a huge fan of pizza, this was absolutely amazing! Rediscovered my love for pizza lol. Antipasti is also a must have! Completely fresh mozzarella with sundried tomatos, artichoke, rocket etc. Customer service is amazing and the food so worth it. Would recommend 100%!

Took me a while to venture away from the usual suspects of Pizza (Dominos and Papa Johns) but highly glad I did. Pizza's are great albeit I only ever visit this branch and not the George Street one. Garlic sauce they have is quality.

Best pizza in Aberdeen maybe even all of Scotland. Idk what they do but every time I’ve ever had it it was delicious. Last meal worthy.

Bad and greasy pizza can be a disappointing experience for any pizza lover. The pizza was so greasy and cold. Won't Order food here again.

Can’t give a good rating, sorry, tried to phone to place a large order for a charity in Aberdeen which the online ordering wouldn’t process. Spoke to somebody who said they were the chef, to go online, and hung up on me! Heard good things about AJs and disappointed at this.

Visiting Aberdeen and stumbled over this pizza place. Easily one of the best Pizza’s I’ve had. The quality of the toppings and cheese is absolutely brilliant. I’ll be back whenever I visit Aberdeen.

Ordered from AJs for the first time, and it's the best pizza we've had in Aberdeen by a considerable margin. Excellent toppings, fantastic crust. Highly recommended.

I had a BBQ chicken 14 " PIZZA for 17pounds. It was super delicious and my kids love it.

Disgusting leftovers. Cold and burned.. If somone order from them.... Omg I want my money back!!!

Fantastic food as always. Tasty, fresh, hot food and easily customised if you like with lots of options. Simply packaged and even a couple of free brownies. Discount if ordered direct from the website too.

The food is delicious but it gave me the most horrendous food poisoning. The first time I ate there was fine, but the second left me ill for days.

Ordered a minute before closure as I like to test out different places to see how serious they take customers service and gotta say wow pizza was amazing definitely be ordering again

Great quality food, tastes amazing every time I’ve been! The wait times are spot on so you won’t be stood about waiting, not too long even at the weekend, and the portion sizes are generous.

Consistently great pizza with great variety of toppings and styles. Fresh and hot. Service is fast too. Can’t go wrong with this place.

I normally use ajs pizza but recently I'm not guaranteed the same standard especially on a Friday. Tonight the pizza was cold soggy and not all enjoyable 😒 such a shame because I have had fantastic pizza before. Think its time to try somewhere else. So disappointing 😞
