Chip shop no chips. In on Friday woman complaining not enough chips, got home I was the same ,chips hiding under black pudding. Robbers.

So disappointed, bought battered fish, obviously had been in heat area for some time, batter was chuck in many areas, could hardly get knife through, fish was very dry. They were obviously expecting a rush as heated area was full, sorry will go elsewhere

Food is decent, if you get it cooked fresh, but, sadly, 90% of the time it's not. They cook way too much of their stuff in advance. It's then left in their hot unit, so, it's pot-luck if you get something cooked a few minutes ago, or a few hours ago. The majority of the time you end up with soggy, chewy batter and whatever is inside, is cooked to hell. It's the same with the chips: Sometimes they've been sat for so long they're literally inedible. Although, I also suspect they're using cheap potatoes, instead of proper potatoes specifically for chips: Even when they are fresh, they're decent, but not great and tend to be soft, rather than crispy. I also wish they would stop diluting their brown sauce with a ton of vinegar. It's so watery, at times, and it doesn't taste good. It's a real shame, because they could be great: They still batter everything themselves and when you get something fresh made, it can be really good. They're just cutting too many corners and the quality of the food suffers as a result. Pity.

Absolute worst chippy I've ever bought. Got a haggis supper...£7.50! Haggis was flaccid and limp, the chips were very greasy. One very disappointed husband who had been hanging out for a haggis supper.....and I had to crisp it up in the air fryer for him. First time using this chip shop & defo the last. Boak 🤮

After a long day treated ourselves to a special fish supper. Quality meal that was a very hearty portion- lunch tomorrow sorted . Very swift fresh service and friendly staff.

I loved my king ribs from there since I was 12 then the last 3 I had were rank. Which to me they have obviously went for the cheapest option than keeping there standards up as they will know who I am regarding king ribs coz that's all I ever got from there to the point where they never had to ask what I wanted.

I bought a seafood Calzone pizza, which included a couple of anchovies and it's the best pizza of that type I've had in 30 years. Excellent

This is usually really good. But tonight we got Fish Supper Fish was like rubber batter was disgusting and fish had no taste chips were really bad also King rib batter was like rubber and Steak pie was cold in the middle Usually nice n crispy and Hot won't be back

Fish was excellent but chips was poor they were mostly small bits and hard

So after hearing all the fantastic reviews I thought I'd try the freshly made pizza for myself, as you can see I opted for the "spicy chicken & smoked sausage" and opted for a side of chips, my pizza was cooked to perfection and my selected toppings tasted out of this world mouth full of water for definite outstanding food, my girlfriend asked for the pizza crunch & chips and she was also very delighted with her food. As per another 5* for here and I look forward to my next meal/dinner here again forgot to add the onion ring was tasty aswell thanks again guys for a tasty supper 👏

Excellent quality and portion size fresh fish. Consistent flavour and freshness in both fish and chips. Black pudding and haggis also good and tasty. If you prefer your fish in breadcrumbs rather than batter ask for a special fish, it's worth it! Great selection of fresh pizza options, finished to perfection.

Staff just looking to get rid of us. Went in (not really sure what time, but was at least an hour before shutting) but staff must have been desperate to get home. No chips, only one bit of black pudding and other leftovers. The member of staff we spoke to was very rude. One star would never go back!

Best chippy in Clackmannanshire love the staff in there great food great service! Been going to The Falcon for years and always will. If I ever fancy a chippy there's no other options other than the falcon. I think the only problem I have now is that the prices are a bit steep but other than that best chippy in the shire
