We enjoyed a really good lunch here. The food was excellent, as was the service - both friendly and efficient. Overall we couldn't fault the experience.
Well the food was passable.. quantity for the price I'd say was less than other places.
The plates were covered in chips.. chipped plates is a breeding ground for germs.
The service was good.
They allows dogs in the cafe but they dont seem to bother to clean properly.
Disgusted by the cleanliness . Environmental health need to visit
La comida y el servicio estaban bien y nada se destacĂł para volver de nuevo. Sin embargo, el chef Mike OâWave trabajĂł muy duro.
El pescado sabe a congelado y por lo tanto pierde calidad y textura.
If youâre looking for the best fish and chips around, look no further than this amazing family-run gem! From the moment you walk in, youâre welcomed with warm smiles and a cozy, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family. The food is absolutely wonderfulâeach dish tastes fresh and bursting with flavor.
The fish here is phenomenalâperfectly cooked, light, and crispy on the outside with tender, flaky meat inside. You can truly taste the quality and freshness, like it was caught just that morning! Their seafood sandwiches are also a real highlight. Generously filled, deliciously seasoned, and served on soft bread, theyâre packed with the freshest flavors of the sea.
Every detail, from the quick and kind service to the thoughtful presentation of each dish, shows the care and pride they put into what they do. Whether youâre a local or just passing through, this is one stop you wonât want to miss! A true treasure in the community!
We scoured reviews to find a safe bet for something to take back to our accommodation and Deli-Ca-Sea seemed to be a preferred choice. Staff were really lovely and welcoming. We ordered two large haddock suppers but unfortunately the young woman serving us said they only had mediums left. We went with this option but as we were paying the guy frying shouted through that he had two large left. A quick re-calculation later and we paid for the upgrade.
As they were being prepared we were advised that one of the fish was big but the other was a whale!
Back at the accommodation we got tucked into an amazing meal. The fish was fresh and flaky and had a flavour that balanced perfectly with the light crispy batter. I managed to wrangle the whale and it was huge. Iâm rarely beaten by a plate of food but ground to a halt on this leviathan about two thirds of the way through.
Often with a supper the chips seem to be an afterthought but on this occasion they were equal partners in a fast marriage made in heaven.
If weâre ever back in Ullapool weâll make sure we return here. 5/5.
Lovely little quaint restaurant, reasonably prices , food excellent and staff very friendly and helpful
Highly recommend a visit
Book ahead to avoid disappointment
Probably the worst lunch I have ever had, the cheapest ingredients.
There was not one thing nice about it
It was mostly unedible. I could have bought a better sandwich out a garage. Absolutely shocking The coffee wasn't much better. I would definitely not recommend this place now.
Quality service..excellent food .When wifey misinterpreted mushrooms as mussels..not a problem. Sea food was super also Mrs roast. Fault free. Get along. Would recommend and we will definitely return đ
Had a lovely meal at this restaurant within the Anchor hotel. I had Cullen Skink, which was a proper chef made one, followed by tagliatelle and sticky toffee pudding.
