If you’re looking for the best fish and chips around, look no further than this amazing family-run gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm smiles and a cozy, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family. The food is absolutely wonderful—each dish tastes fresh and bursting with flavor. The fish here is phenomenal—perfectly cooked, light, and crispy on the outside with tender, flaky meat inside. You can truly taste the quality and freshness, like it was caught just that morning! Their seafood sandwiches are also a real highlight. Generously filled, deliciously seasoned, and served on soft bread, they’re packed with the freshest flavors of the sea. Every detail, from the quick and kind service to the thoughtful presentation of each dish, shows the care and pride they put into what they do. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is one stop you won’t want to miss! A true treasure in the community!

I was advised to go here and it did not let me down. The Haddock Supper was one of the best I have ever had. It was fresh and tasted amazing. I was with my two sons who loved it too. My suggestion, don’t go past this Chip Shop.

Stopped for lunch as we were passing through Ullapool, and was highly impressed with the haddock and chips. A large - and very nice piece of fish, beautiful batter, and with a good portion of freshly cooked chips. As a working class lad from the West Midlands I like to consider myself something of a chippie connoisseur - and these were excellent!

Really good fish and chip shop. We looked at the reviews on Google maps and felt this place sounded more consistent than the other place in town. Good choice I feel - food was fresh cooked and tasty. Nice batter on tasty fish, and good chips. It is take away only, but there's some nice benches on the harbour front 30m away, where we had our fish & chips supper overlooking Ullapool harbour!

What an amazing place, visited for pre ferry breakfast, super friendly lady at the entrance/ till area. Allowed us in with our pooch, "so long as we were well behaved" !!! Had perfectly cooked smoked haddock and poached eggs with hollandaise sauce and soft grilled tomatoes and delish coffee. Was given 2 sausages for Lola, our Springer/ boxer cross too. Many thanks from a professional chef and former Taste of Scotland inspector. 😁

Not as good chips as round the corner but the fish was much better - much thicker piece of fish. They also did white pudding which was lovely. Must admit it's hard to find anywhere decent to eat in Ullapool which is a great shame.

Perching on the sunny harbour wall in Ullapool made for a great impromptu picnic. Deli-Ca-Sea provided the seafood sandwiches, of crab (all white meat) and of hot-smoked salmon, both with mixed salad. A most enjoyable treat at a very reasonable price. Recommended.

2 x Medium haddock suppers (ie 'and chips' for non Scots). The best I have had in long time. Fresh fish, perfectly battered and fried with just slightly crispy chips. Excellent. Add to that sat we sat on the sea wall in, would you believe it, sunshine. Ullapool at its best.

Haggis supper for lunch, when I seen the haggis I thought "oh no, here we go". It was 2 battered slices of what turned out to be a very good, I'm guessing a local butchers haggis in an even better batter rather than the usual chip shop sausage shaped puddin I expected. But alas, It was very good if slightly pricey at £7.50 or £7.80, I cant remember. Chips were fairly neutral, not bad, nothing memorable but a guid solid (healthy) meal for me and will be returning to try a large hudduck soon

Since the hotel we were staying in had closed their restaurant since covid, but had a nice pub, we elected to pick up fish and chips from Delicasaea, which the pub let us bring into their establishment. The service was friendly and reasonably quick, and the price reasonable. The medium Haddock and chips was very large, and I wasn't able to finish the chips. Not the best fish and chips I've ever had, but still quite good.

Embarking on our NC500 road trip, we had the delightful opportunity to enjoy a lunchtime takeaway from Delicasea Fish & Chips in the quaint coastal town of Ullapool. This local gem, serving Britain's classic favourite, offered an experience that was both satisfying and memorable. Set against Ullapool's picturesque backdrop, Delicasea Fish & Chips enhances the town's charming ambience with its inviting vibe. The opportunity to enjoy our takeaway lunch while soaking up the stunning seaside views added an extra dimension to our culinary adventure. The standout of our meal was undeniably the fish and chips. Freshly sourced fish, perfectly fried in a crispy batter, paired with golden, fluffy chips, made for a hearty and flavourful lunch. The meal, served piping hot and in generous portions, showcased the eatery's commitment to freshness and quality. While the menu at Delicasea Fish & Chips is centered around its signature dish, we noted an impressive range of other seafood options, promising the same commitment to quality and flavour. Despite being a takeaway meal, the care taken in preparing and packaging our lunch was evident, maintaining the high standards of a sit-down dining experience. The service at Delicasea Fish & Chips was efficient and friendly. Even amidst the midday rush, our order was swiftly prepared and ready to go, ensuring minimal waiting time and optimal meal enjoyment. In conclusion, Delicasea Fish & Chips is a must-stop lunch spot on the NC500 route, especially for those preferring a delicious takeaway option. It captures the essence of the seaside dining experience in a convenient and satisfying package. It was a memorable highlight of our trip, and we can't recommend it enough for travellers passing through Ullapool.

My husband and I ate here 2 days in a row! We had burgers! I definitely recommend the Full Monty! It was the best burger I’ve eaten in a while! Our host was warm and friendly!
