We enjoyed an early dinner on Halloween. Lovely relaxing atmosphere, excellent customer service and superb food. Imaginitive vegetarian options, perfect sea bass and gorgeous steak pie. The sticky toffee pudding was the star of the show! We will definitely be back.

We are occasional visitors here from other side of border. Amazing views, staff are always smiling and pleasant. I am 60 yrs old and just eaten THE BEST beefburger ever! Tasty, juicy burger, great bacon and cheese with a lovely brioche bap. My partner (Scottish) put her maccaroni cheese as top three ever! I could eat that burger every day !! It was SO good we went back 2 days later and had again. So now had TOP 2 burgers ever in magnificent Harbour View :-) Thank you Harbour View team :-)

I’ve been coming to Wild Flour for many years on holiday, I have never been disappointed. I can definitely say that the cakes and soups are amazing. There’s an extensive menu but I never get further than those, I’m sure that the rest will be as good. Quirky and pretty decor with local paintings available to buy, plus locally made crafts and gifts. A true treasure. Also dog friendly.

As it was the last night of our holiday we decided to dine at The Colintraive, and we were happy we did. The staff were cheerful, friendly and polite, and others in the pub were also friendly, providing a lovely atmosphere. The food was amazing; well presented and really tasty. We would definitely recommend a visit here. We did book beforehand, as we'd been warned that they can be quite busy at times so it is best to make a booking.

Firstly recommend that you book a table before going, there are two parts to the building namely the roundhouse and the cafe. Animals are allowed to accompany you to the cafe, it’s the same menu in both and the staff are friendly, helpful and pleasant. A typical lunch for two with soft drink, soup as a starter and a main comes to about £53. The food served is good quality with large portions, service is usually fast and efficient depending on how busy they get. Have a great meal highly recommended.

First booked the Sorn Inn for an anniversary meal for 17 people and everyone (including children) loved the food. Have been twice more and will be back for the new set menu on Wednesday. Fantastic food and our host David was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Chef's menus are fine dining but at reasonable prices. Certainly our new place to eat out. Thanks David.

Booked two nights (Aug 10-12th) here as we were ending our Scotland trip, and it was a perfect place to finish. Parking is provided in a lot or along the quiet street. It was a little confusing at first glance, because there are two buildings (across the street from each other) labeled "The Star Inn," and one of them had a sale sign on the outside. After realizing one had a locked door, we headed to the other where we were greeted by locals and directed to the bar for service. It took a couple minutes for the bartender to finish up and greet us, but she was lovely and promptly checked us in, grabbed our keys, and showed us the way to our room across the street. The first thing I noticed was the incredible smell! It smelled amazing, fresh, comforting...l considered asking how I could bring the smell back to the states. The walk in area, halls and room were spotless and cozy. The bed was crisp and fresh, and the bathroom was huge. Numerous fresh towels and toiletries were provided. There was also tea, water, a small fridge, a television, menus, WIFI, a small desk, lots of outlets for charging, and nice lighting. The Inn is within walking distance to the water, and there are some small shops that weren't open on a Sunday. It was about 15 minutes of a drive into Inverness, and about 5 minutes from Inverness airport. Would absolutely recommend staying here, we loved the small amount of time we did!
