Cold, no dips, no straws, charged extra for a Minecraft meal and didnt receive the toy.

Nice hotel on the edge of the town. Rooms are spot on and really friendly staff

I have had ‘Indian’ style food from many restraints and homes of friends from all over Asia. This to me feels like it was cooked by a family and I like that. Very well priced and quick service.

Very nice lunch and coffee. The BBQ chicken toastie was lovely with salad and the Loaded Veg Sourdough was enjoyable. My daughter said it was the nicest Iced coffee she has had. The staff are attentive. Well done SC.

Some time in 2021. Some of the staff were wearing face masks for some reason, amongst other reasons this caused some anxiety as I had no idea who was talking and there was no reason for these people to wear them, or was there?

While on holiday in Lyme Regis we went to The Oyster and Fish House for our wedding Anniversary meal. Having booked in advance after seeing the restaurant recommended in The Times we were expecting a top class experience. However the food was good but the service left a lot to be desired. We arrived slightly early and were shown to a table which was ok but there were tables with a better view, so we asked to move. Every time during the meal we asked a question the waitress said she would have to ask, which proved very frustrating. The waitress who collected our main course plates managed to spill the contents over the table, floor, my clothes and glass case. She then proceeded to try and mop it up with our linen serviette and a quick ‘sorry’. There was no offer of a goodwill gesture. We removed the service charge and spoke to the supervisor but we just had another sorry. The food was nice but the service spoilt a special occasion. I would expect the staff to be better trained in a restaurant of this quality. What a shame!

Stale naan with curry last night. Getting tired of having to ask at bar when order food for sticky table to be wiped. Food arrived and asked again for table to be wiped and sprayed onto table just about missing the food. In hindsight should have sent food back. Is this worthy of the score on the door?

Not so much that it's later, but it's been signed off as delivered when it hasn't been delivered. So we are over an hour for the food
