The best restaurants in Coleraine North Eastern NI

I come to castlerock several times through out the year for a weekend break. This takeaway is always our first meal. The service is fantastic and the food is gorgeous, portion size is just right. We have always recommended it to friends and family coming down. Keep up the good work and see you in September!

From start to finish this place had a very relaxing atmosphere, where you can enjoy a drink or a full on meal, we enjoyed a meal. Staff was very friendly. The only suggestion I have is please sweep and clean the outside toilets apart from this I would definitely return and recommend this place to my friends and family.

Called in to place an order to take away. Sat for 40 minutes waiting during which time i watched the girl at the till swinging her ponytail over food, scratching her scalp and nose with her oversized long nail extensions, and then proceed to butter scones without washing her hands or wear gloves. Wiped her hands on her jeans and carried on. Came and told me then after 40 min, that my order hadnt gone through to the kitchen, and when i said to forget it and asked for a refund, she was very rude. Accused me of being rude because i said i hadn't time to wait and said it wasn't her fault i hadn't received my order. Then didn't know how to issue a card refund, and kept me waiting a further 15 minutes while she disappeared into the back of the shop. Awful experience from someone not capable of dealing with customer issues, she was totally unsupported by the manager who stayed in the back. Food handling hygiene needs looked at. Really disappointed as I've used this lovely café before, but on this occasion the service and hygiene was not good at all.

Great, its a wee chippy. what more can you say about it, it serves chips, burgers, pies and fish. staff seem friendly enough.

Great place to roam and shop - lots of items to see. Providing food is a bonus too.

Booked as actress for Valentines and was not disappointed! The food was excellent! Olive goats cheese balls in honey as a shared starter was out of this world!! We both had fish dishes, mine being the seafood platter, was beautifully cooked and plentiful! Chocolate torte with raspberry jus, absolutely devine! Service was perfect and we will definitely be back!!

Opens slightly early so suits me. Fresh baked scones and coffee still hot. Not too busy after 0830, so got a window seat with a view.

Very Friendly staff, always there to assist even at busy times! Lovely atmosphere. Great customer service! Our food was ready within 15 minutes or so.

It is Saturday night 22/02/25 and post says you are open until 11pm 🕚 on Saturday and you are clearly not open I take it you are closed again??? I drove from Coleraine to get food this disgraceful service I won’t be ringing again as I’ll never be visiting you ever again!!!

I visited this 'Ground' before Christmas with my little dog. The girl was extremely courteous and helpful and prepared some bacon for my little dog while we had lunch. We returned today and sat at the same seat. The employee rushed down and greeted me with 'dogs not allowed' despite the fact there was a Schnauzer roaming around the shop on a long lead. When I pointed this out to the young 'lady', her reply was "service dog". The little canine in question had no harness and no labels to indicate it was a 'service dog'. If the establishment is not dog friendly, that is fine. I can live with that. However the attitude of that member was nothing short of abrupt and bordering on obnoxious. This particular 'Ground' is not only non dog friendly, it is also no human friendly. Avoid like the plague.

Wee bit pricey but really nice chip and curry and battered sausage

Never had a bad experience here yet. Just had dinner tonight in the white pheasant. Friendly staff, great food as always.

My wife and I visited today for lunch to find to our surprise a carvery which was excellent value and extremely good.The food and service couldn't be faulted,the hotel itself is undergoing some refurbishment work .

Received a latte which some how tasted of burnt water, too hot inside no air conditioning on. Ballamena Costa is on another level to this place.

Went to your outlet on railway road at 6pm and it was closed, the guy told me it was closed. It states on the website u open to 7pm.
