I only put stars so I could ask - is this place EVER open?? Tried to take the family to dinner there and it's just never open, no info online about how to contact them, is there some kind of secret club that im not in? I'll change my review to five stars if the management actually reply with how on earth to make a reservation!

Worst fish a chips Iv ever had chips were like cardboard and the fish was just Fryd to a crisp with little to no fish in it at all. Went straight into the bin. At the cost of ÂŁ27- odd it shud have been eatable.

Decided give this restaurant a second chance after being there in July as the food was amazing but the service was awful due to a mix up with starters and waiting over an hours for main course after the kids meals came and another hour to be offered a desert but put this down to being busy holiday week in July and decided to try it again on Sunday. Returned on Sunday for a family meal on the bank holiday weekend and wish we had not bothered. The food was once again excellent couldn't fault what we had but the service in this establishment really lets down the amazing food. We were shown to our table for six which had been booked well in advance of Sunday and it was on set for five. The service was really slow when we ordered drinks waiting some 20 minutes, the ice having melted in the soft drinks when we received them. When eventually we came to order we had been given the wrong menu and there was no soup for starters as per menu. The person behind the bar shouted at one of the waiters across the restaurant rather abruptly for the whole restaurant to witness this argument. Apart from this our starters came out and were beautiful. This is where it went downhill. It took ages for our starter dishes to be collected and our main course to arrive. The waitress was so rude and unhelpful. One waiter was wiping sweat from his forehead all over his hands and then lifting customers plates. When my beautiful Sunday roast arrived I enquired where was the Yorkshire pudding as on the menu. To be shouted at that the had ran out no explanation when plate arrived or no alternative offered. We had also ordered a chicken burger on the menu and when it arrived it had no side order. when the order was taken this was not highlighted that it didn't come with a side or we would have ordered, but the response from the waitress was really rude and we made do with what we had and shared out. As if we had ordered additional who knows how long we would have waited as we waited so long for the mains to arrive leaving my son with his main meal of the day just a burger. Now as someone who makes Yorkshire puddings regularly they only take 25 minutes to replenish and make a new batch and considering the length of time we waited between courses this should have been no issue or was very bad planning for portions of roast beef. We waited a further 40 minutes from finishing our main courses in the hope we would be offered a desert menu (this was the problem the last time waiting over an hour for this despite asking twice). However, this was no offered and we went and got the bill despite each waiter walking past our finished plates at least five times and each waiter clearing empty tables of glasses. Surely it is in the interest to look after guests in restaurant rather than clear tables at this stage in a nearly empty restaurant. Not once in the two plus hours we were there were we asked was our meal ok or did we need anything. we ordered a second round of drinks as our main courses arrived and they were delivered after we had finished eating and stacked our own plates. Food is excellent but service is really poor; Paid the bill and when got home realised that despite all main meals being ÂŁ10 we had been charged full price for one. Wont be rushing back despite the high quality of food as service truly lets down and doesn't make for an enjoyable dining experience.

I know the crannagh has now changed hands and the permanent staff there are another company now. My wedding was one of the last one by the arbutus catering. I was so happy with the service we received from arbutus catering. Barry and his team are fantastic, cannot recommend them enough to people. Denise was the lead for our wedding and she was amazing, replied promptly to all enquiries and was a warm, friendly personality. Our guests thought all the staff were fantastic and hard working. The barman was kept busy all day but he was always smiling and joking with my friends and family. The food was spectacular, our trio of starters were amazing and guests were brave enough to try the salted chilli squid and said they would definitely order that again when out. Totally changed their minds on seafood. We had a bbq for the main and platters were carried to the tables. Guests had the choice of chicken, steak, burgers, pork fillets, chicken drumsticks or hallomi and various side salads. The food was to such a high standard and guests loved it. My farming family were definitely well fed. We finished it with a dessert of peanut butter cookies and ice-cream which was perfect for a hot summer day. The staff were very professional and kept the day ticking over smoothly. I could not fault it at all. The evening food of bbq pork sliders and chicken goujons with chip cones went down a treat! The crannagh is a gorgeous venue for a laid back relaxed wedding. We were able to put our own stamp on it with our decor. The views of the river bann are stunning. It made for gorgeous pictures at the golden hour. Cannot recommend this venue and the catering enough to people.

Hadn't used one of these before as I thought it was a little too much california coffee shop but was very pleased to be able to get a good quality fry. It was the last item on the menu on the flashy screen on the wall and I felt a bit under pressure deciding what I would have in the queue at the till. Still It was very good, very well presented and I was able to swap the beans and black pudding for other items which is great. More room inside than I had thought and I would definitely be back.

We visited the coast on Saturday evening. Just wanted to give some feedback I feel would be helpful. We feel like the service really needed improving, waiters seem uninterested in their job and it was as if they didn’t want to engage with customers. When we finished our starters I watched 3 waiters look at our plates before one even approached to take it away. When we finished our mains the same problem arose. Multiple waiters stared at our empty plates and didn’t lift them. This was annoying for us as we wanted to order dessert. We ordered dessert and when it was brought to our table our plates were still there, leaving no room to even set the plate down. We also felt the restaurant was very cold which was quite uncomfortable at times. Whilst the food was lovely, compliments to the chefs. We felt the service just wasn’t up to standard at all. It seemed as if there was one boy in charge and we felt he looked like he was trying to do everything.

Went down to Curry's for a day out with my bruvs. Place was closed, was forced to come here for food. Staff were waffling to each other, food took way to long for the small quantity of food ordered. Sausages were black, the employees teeth were blacker. Sausages looked like they play for Nigeria. Have nightmares about the sausages. I clench my cheeks every time I go to sleep. Chips do what the name says, chipped my teeth. 1/10, the water was nice tho. Would get better service in the soup kitchen. At least there is a bit of flavour there.
