The best restaurants in Coleraine North Eastern NI

I had been before about a year and a half ago and food was good but I went yesterday and for my starter I got the cheese and bacon loaded fries and they were pure average then got carbonara and wasn't happy at all with it. The sauce was very runny and bland and pasta was Ended up getting the carbonara of the bill.

I only put stars so I could ask - is this place EVER open?? Tried to take the family to dinner there and it's just never open, no info online about how to contact them, is there some kind of secret club that im not in? I'll change my review to five stars if the management actually reply with how on earth to make a reservation!

The food is always good here and the are quick

Normally when we order from yourselves the food is always good however today the onion rings where greezy and overcooked and the fish batter was greezy with 2 bones 2 cms in length not what I expect could have been a choking hazard This is not ur normal standard I can only put it down to the busy NW200 Sad as we always enjoy your food

A very homely, pet-friendly bar-restaurant, with a relaxed vibe, good prices good food and great drinks. Welcomes locals, caravnners and daytrippers.

Food was lovely, coffee was very good, prices were reasonable the experience was different and the little baby peafowl were faboulous. Well worth the trip from Portrush to see despite the weather being dismal. You could have a lovely forest walk afterwards so bring your walking boots/wellies dogs and have a good day out before the kids go back to school.

Really lovely meal. Service was a bit slow but the food made up for it and they don't hold back with there portions. Staff all very pleasant

It's highly recommended if you're traveling, as the kitchen is open almost all day. It has a considerable amount of vegetarian and gluten-free food, which is appreciated.

I know the crannagh has now changed hands and the permanent staff there are another company now. My wedding was one of the last one by the arbutus catering. I was so happy with the service we received from arbutus catering. Barry and his team are fantastic, cannot recommend them enough to people. Denise was the lead for our wedding and she was amazing, replied promptly to all enquiries and was a warm, friendly personality. Our guests thought all the staff were fantastic and hard working. The barman was kept busy all day but he was always smiling and joking with my friends and family. The food was spectacular, our trio of starters were amazing and guests were brave enough to try the salted chilli squid and said they would definitely order that again when out. Totally changed their minds on seafood. We had a bbq for the main and platters were carried to the tables. Guests had the choice of chicken, steak, burgers, pork fillets, chicken drumsticks or hallomi and various side salads. The food was to such a high standard and guests loved it. My farming family were definitely well fed. We finished it with a dessert of peanut butter cookies and ice-cream which was perfect for a hot summer day. The staff were very professional and kept the day ticking over smoothly. I could not fault it at all. The evening food of bbq pork sliders and chicken goujons with chip cones went down a treat! The crannagh is a gorgeous venue for a laid back relaxed wedding. We were able to put our own stamp on it with our decor. The views of the river bann are stunning. It made for gorgeous pictures at the golden hour. Cannot recommend this venue and the catering enough to people.

Ordered takeout from here for me and my friend as we were craving a chinese...BAD CHOICE. Ordered salted chilli chicken,rice,chips,noodles and beef curry. 1. Fried rice was oddly pale....? 2.chips and noodles were fine (THANK GOD) 3.Friend and I who are usually HUGE fans of salted chilli chicken did not like this one so many vegetables and terrible portion of chicken not to mention chicken was like mush. 4. Beef curry, I would not even let my dog eat this. beef was weird texture and something was definitely up with it because both me and my friend are now suffering with food poisoning and had been fine earlier that day before eating from this place. I would not eat here, wouldnt recommend it and definitely wouldn't let my dog eat from here either.

Absolutely fantastic lunch with lovely friendly staff. Food delicious and well presented,good portion sizes ,highly recommended. The restaurant decor is impeccable .

The Kids' menu was great. You can't go wrong with the 99p menu. The kids were happy but the pepperoni was more like hotdog sausage so the kids were better off staying with the margarita pizza. Myself and my husband went with the pepperoni which again was like hotdogs sausage and there was no seasoning on the pizza. The staff were really nice and the food came out fast, but the food needs improving.

Went down to Curry's for a day out with my bruvs. Place was closed, was forced to come here for food. Staff were waffling to each other, food took way to long for the small quantity of food ordered. Sausages were black, the employees teeth were blacker. Sausages looked like they play for Nigeria. Have nightmares about the sausages. I clench my cheeks every time I go to sleep. Chips do what the name says, chipped my teeth. 1/10, the water was nice tho. Would get better service in the soup kitchen. At least there is a bit of flavour there.

Had a chicken sandwich which was disgusting X staff not interested x microwaves in full force xx chicken was raw xx avoid

Never have I tasted SWEET NAN like it absolutely delicious 😋 with a side portion of pakora chicken 🐔 absolutely beautiful 5*
