Very suitable menu for a seaside restaurant which is well frequented throughout the year, and especially at busy holiday periods. Good selection of wines, beers and cocktails. Friendly staff who are eager to please. Relaxed atmosphere. What's not to like...

Food was lovely, coffee was very good, prices were reasonable the experience was different and the little baby peafowl were faboulous. Well worth the trip from Portrush to see despite the weather being dismal. You could have a lovely forest walk afterwards so bring your walking boots/wellies dogs and have a good day out before the kids go back to school.

Was really looking forward to a tasty curry but was left disappointed. Overcooked rice with little flavour in the curry. I don't like a overly spicy curry but it should taste of curry

Ordered from here tonight from causeway eats, got a phone-call to say it would be an extra £5 for delivery on top of the £7.50 delivery fee already paid as the first time eating here we said we’ll pay it and see what it’s like! Big mistake, food was absolutely disgusting…..chicken kebab was awful, chicken wasn’t properly cooked, chips had been pre-cooked and cooked over again….pizza was cremated and sausages were cheap garbage and couldn’t be ate…..so after £30 odd quid later and still no supper, it’s was a first and def will be a last!

I visited this McDonald's drive-thru around 8:55 pm on November 11th, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. Now I do understand it's McDonald's. I am not expecting 5 star service, however I think as a paying customer the least I deserved was basic manners. While I was placing my order, I could hear loud cursing in the background, which was unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. To make things worse, the person taking my order openly mocked my accent and snickered over the microphone when I mispronounced a few words, which left me feeling embarrassed and disrespected. This person truly needs some training, I also can't imagine him doing the same thing to a man. Completely disrespectful! He probably thought he was being funny, but it was really just vile. The lack of customer service skills here was shocking, and it seemed like the staff could benefit from thorough customer service training. When I drove up to pay, the lady at the window was nice and took my payment. However as soon as she shut the little window she started tossing paper cups at her colleagues in the kitchen. I am sure management would approve of such waste. This lack of professionalism definitely impacted my experience. I hope the management can address these issues, as I’ve had much better service at other locations.

Loved this restaurant, food was beautiful and the staff were so nice, I thought I'd left my purse there and they were so helpful helping me to locate it. We ate there twice on a 3 day holiday ♥️

Dreadful chicken goujons and chips. Very very poor. Little chicken in the goujons and what there was was chewy and stringy - poor quality and chips - frozen rubbish . All in the bin!

Really enjoyable meal. Four of us ate we all enjoyed the food. I had the tomahawk steak. Tasty, well cooked medium rare. Good value for money. The only negative was we booked for around 7 ordered food and drinks, waited for around an hour before our food was brought to us. To be fair, the place was packed, so the wait was to be expected.

Okay I write this poor review with a heavy heart. I’ve been their customer for almost 20 years and today’s experience was shocking to say the least . Customer service = nil the girl answering the phone basically called me a liar when I queried delivery times on several occasions. Food = bland that’s all I’ll say bland! Quantity/value for money = kids portion I’m going to Tony’s from now on . Obviously my repeated custom means F all to this place. Go elsewhere

Not what it used to be.......7pm on a Friday night called in for something to eat. Had to ask for table to wiped as the place was a mess. Stacks of dishes left on many tables. Others were cleaning down their own tables before sitting. Cutlery sticky. Lots of staff but none worried about the cleanliness of the place. Ordered burgers, not as we expected nor described on the menu.....tiny portions, fatty limp bacon, a square of processed cheese on top. So disappointed. Won't be back.

Me and my partner went for dinner in Coast. The restaurant was really dark inside with only some tables having lights directed to them. We had to order at the bar and pay at the point of ordering, which has never been the case previously. Our food came out very quickly, however only 1 dish was correct. I had to get up to flag down a waiter to inform them that they had given us one incorrect main, side and dip. This left my partner eating his meal before I was served mine. The waiter said sorry but as we had paid before there was nothing else really to be done. I got the peppered chicken pasta and the slices of chicken were like that from a packet you would buy for sandwiches but just heated up in a sauce. Overall it was really poor and disappointing.

Been to Chequers countless times. It had been ok - the main highlight was the food. This time was for lunch. Mini lunchbox wasn't available after 4 so got box for one. Wait was short. Food was amazing. Price was reasonable. Staff were pleasant. Good fast food.
