Cruesoes Catch in Coleraine

Ordered two chicken fillet burgers which was dry and the size of a large nugget, a tiny curry chip that possibly had 20 chips and the curry had a strange taste but was palatable and a large gravy chip that was inedible as the gravy had the distinct taste of fish. In total i waited 25 minutes when it was said to be 10 mins and it cost roughly £24 and we ended up going to Meatbox to get food as we were still hungry.

Absolutely awful - I should have heeded a friend’s advice not to buy here if Rog (the owner) is not on site. Terrible food and when we got home found it wasn’t what we’d ordered.

I paid £4.50 for a large portion of chips, having never paid that much for a portion of chips before I expected to get a good amount. I couldn't believe it when I got what I could only describe as a handful. I opened the bag outside and after seeing the size I had to go back in to ask if my order was correct. If that was a large chips I dread to think what a small is like. Not only that the service was so slow, I had to wait 15 minutes for the chips that after tasting were just average. Daylight robbery! Will definitly never go back to this place.

Had to ask for a refund after waiting well over an hour for our food even though the place was nearly empty. The prices are absolutely absurd for the minuscule portions they give you, but unfortunately we didn’t even get to taste them. Absolutely terrible. Do not go here!

Smashed a supper after a few pints and a couple lines. I would recommend the fish. I’m good friends with the owner . D Hutton
