Gaze in Coleraine

Amazing service, outstanding food couldn’t beat it with a stick kids loved it Defo be back tomorrrow, even though I’m on a diet but sure diet starts Monday! I’m being cheeky lol 🤪😜 AMAZING!!!!!!

This has got to be the worst chinese meal I have ever had ! Recommended by a friend we thought we,d try it and I must say I will never be back ! We ordered a mixed grill which needless to say was the worst ever ! 1 small piece of a cheap cut of steak measuring approx 5cm , a dried up thin sliced pork chop ,1 rasher of bacon (also overcooked) , a burnt sausage and a slice of liver which looked disgusting ! I mean to say who serves liver on a mixed grill !! My honey chilli chicken was served in a grease topped chilli sauce and the chicken was like rubber !! When I entered the restaurant it was cold and very dark ! The surroundings appeared outdated and scruffy but it seemed popular and there were a few people waiting for orders so I thought maybe the food would be ok !! However how wrong was I ? When I got home I looked at the food I almost threw up ! It looked disgusting and badly presented ! I checked the food hygiene rating for this place and as suspected it was only 3 stars which spoke for itself ! The food was binned immediately ! I Wouldnt even have given it to my dog and I can assure you I will never be back and will be advising my friends the same ! Sorry but you need to sort this place out ! Its a health hazard !! Everyone stay clear !!

This has got to be the chewiest chicken In the world. Absolutely atrocious. Rice was ok. Chicken wings soggy. Everything else not great.

I have used this service many times,food great,but customer service terrible,a couple of nights ago I ordered food,told it would be 30 mins,,after 45 mins I phoned again,was told it was on way,,after 1 hour and 15 mins I called to cancel,,was greeted by a ill mannered lady with no customer service knowledge on other end of phone,,1 hour and 30 mins food arrived after being cancelled,,so it had been driven around for 45+ mins in car,would have been cold,,shame as now we and everybody I can tell will be eating elsewhere,,all because the useless lady on phone hadn’t a clue as too how to deal with situation

I have struggled to find a Chinese takeaway that I find reliable and want to come back to, until I found Gaze. Food is always excellent, portion sizes are fantastic, and the staff are really lovely. I'm here on a daily basis, and I am not a creature of habit (usually!)

Ordered takeaway here for the first time. Arrived so quick and food was piping hot, fresh and tasty! The chicken satay was to die for. The salt and chilli prawns were the best we have ever tasted. The guy who took our order was very friendly and professional. The gentleman who delivered was also very friendly. Looking forward to ordering from here again and sampling more of the impressive menu.

Have had takeaway from here before but never again. Food arrived and it looked as though it had been reheated many times.. Rice was hard, chicken tough and rubbery, curry sauce congealed and too make matters worse a long hair was found in chicken fried rice. Rang to complain but the guy who answered the phone was quickly on the defensive and wouldn't listen to our complaint. Very disappointed in his ability to deal with a customer. Definitely wouldn't be ordering from there again and suggest you don't either👎👎👎👎

The Buffet when fresh is pretty good but at certain quiet times when the food has been under the lights for a while it can be very dry.Go when it first opens and its enjoyable.

Ordered deliveries from here several times. Early experience was really good. Food hot, tasty, fresh and arrived on time. Two recent experiences have changed that. Chicken really tough, delivery late and no longer that " fresh taste". A real pity because I have recommended to some friends and now feel guilty!! What has changed / gone wrong ?? Don't think I'll be back... A pity because still tasty......not fresh!!

i have never had any cause to complain before so cant understand what happened tonight prawn crackers seemed as if they were reheated several times chips definitely reheated could not eat the chicken so tough such a pity as always good something obviously went wrong tonight never put review on before but order was so bad could not do anything else should not have been sent out it all definitely reheated and was so good before but have been put off now

2 items in our order were wrong we couldn’t have been clearer when placing or order.. could do better.. food was tasty.

You know the feeling... Get back late from work (Sunday evening), We're starving but what to eat? A wee treat? Chinese takeaway? Sounds good... Let's try Gaze. Got there at about 6.30pm and it looked reasonably busy which was a good sign so I had a look at the takeaway menu and placed our order which was, vegetable spring rolls, Gaze vegetable pitta pocket, crispy noodles with vegetables and satay sauce and a side of mushroom rice. Well the 'food' was ready promptly and that sadly was where the compliments end... I took the takeaway bag to the car and straightaway the heavy oil smell took over, I was expecting the smell of lovely freshly cooked spicy veg but alas not... no magic tree was gonna win that fight... Got home, and served up the food and to be fair the vegetable rolls were edible, but standard frozen quality, the noodle dish with veg and satay sauce was disgusting, the described crispy noodles were in fact dried packet noodles, some were soft, some looked like they had just come from the packet, in fact they weren't even separated in the food, the sauce didn't taste fresh and the veg, um yeah... Next up was the Gaze pitta pocket with Asian veg, I opened the carton and a soaked pitta was floating in some vile red liquid (it smelt like sweet n sour sauce with say 100ml of dishwater stirred in and under this some other bits of veg but I didn't even try this, the smell was enough and the wheelie bin was hungrier than me at this point, last but not least came the mushroom rice, quite simply oily and stale. So if you find yourself crawling past the Gaze takeaway and you haven't eaten for three days and mirages are forming in front of your eyes and you think I am so hungry, i need food, I can't go on much longer please please crawl on past because you never know, you could get lucky and find a day old dog turd on the pavement and it would be so much tastier and nutritious... And Free!

Unless there is nowhere else open and you haven't eaten for a week steer clear of this place!!!...inedible!!!....thrown in the bin and just hope we aren't ill tonight😣

Stopped off for a quick carryout meal on my way between games at the SuperCupNI last week Honey Chilli Chicken with Fried Rice was delish and very good value! I will be back for more next time

Probably won't use again. Not great. Chicken wings very greasy. Floating in oil. Don't expect good chips from a Chinese but these were terrible. Dumplings to expensive and not great.

Ordered our food at 19:00 and got told it would be delivered at 19:30 at the latest! By 20:00 I decided to ring and ask where it was and was assured it was already on its way and should be with me any minute, 20:35...
