Yoko at the Jet Centre in Coleraine

Beautiful meal here on Christmas eve, highly recommend the vegetable satay.

2 hours to get food that was lukewarm at best. 2 small steaks stuck together so not cooked properly. It wasn’t cooked on one side, totally raw. When I took it back the guy didn’t apologise or offer another steak cooked properly. Just looked at me. For £48 I expected good food and service but got neither. Used to love Yoko, haven’t been in a while and it was a totally different experience than the last time I ate there. It wasn’t even busy when I was in so I can’t even use that as an excuse.

Booking for 22nd November. We were seated at a table for 2 beside the sliding doors. It was freezing with the draft coming in the doors. We pulled down the roller blind to try and stop the draft, but it didn't help. When we were paying i said twice to the man at the till, but he laughed and never even made any comment about it. Sent a message on Facebook only reply received back was if you wish to book a table contact us. Was very disappointed with this.

Hi there just to say I was here on Friday and was so happy to see how well the staff were especially Lauren who always made sure we were ok and had what we needed for our food. I would just like to also say that I was in yesterday and didn’t have the best time, first I waited 50 minutes for my garlic chips and they also were forgotten and were sent back because there were cold, secondly the girl who was in the bar was licking her fingers whilst she was making cocktails and doing drinks, to also see that some people also had no interaction to customers when they were paying as well were no good either, also I do have to say the same girl in the bar was asked my the supervisor to do something and she was like I’m doing something else so I can’t but she was only clean a glass and she could do it. I just want to say I have been in hospitality for 4 years now and ik I do sound like a right u know what but I don’t think that I would order a cocktail again or even a takeaway. Sorry again for this review and there were other people that were smiling and all but it’s just things I picked up sorry again

Had booked a table for 4 & got seated on arrival. Starters were great but had to wait an extraordinarily long time for the mains, others who arrived after us got their mains before we did, had to flag down staff to ask if there was a problem to be told it'll be out shortly (another 10 mins). Had the Yoko Famous vermicelli - unnecessarily spicy & mine had 1 piece of chicken in. Some people literally just finished eating were asked to leave for the tables as there was a mob standing glaring at everyone at the door which made me as a diner slightly uncomfortable. Best part of 2 hrs for 2 courses. Probably won't go back.

Got the honey chilli chicken wasn't impressed, very plain no spice or chilli my partner dish was plain.. no kick, been a few time a year, wasn't just the same

Since the menu changed three months ago, a few of our favourite dishes have disappeared, which is a real shame, plus, the prices have risen again, which makes this place extremely overpriced based on its location situated inside an entertainment venue. We've been coming to Yoko's for 14+ years, even when it was in its previous setting before that was burned to the ground. It was then an 'experience,' albeit a little pricey, it at least felt like a great place to eat. The venue is now starting to feel a lot less personable, along with trifold laminate menus and a stripped-back offering, it's teaming with student workers, some of which just don't give you a positive vibe, and you're constantly left trying to get anyones attention when elements of your order are still on the hotplate. Main courses that typically come with side dishes don't, and those sides are almost the same cost as some local takeaway main dishes nearer to home. Our last visit consisted of a starter, two mains, the side, and two soft drinks, costing nearly £55. As our other preferred dish is no longer available, we tried something different, but our usual cost would have been south of £40. So, with that, we'll be bidding Yoko's a sad farewell and will no longer be ringing its praises with friends and family. Pictured dish: £16.50 (no sides).

Book a table for 6.15pm tonight turn up on time. We have two old pensioners with mobility issues with us hence why booked. In front of us family of four turned up no booking , got our table we told to wait. It was busy and we would have wait a long time. So we left , won’t be coming back

They have got delicious meals and the service is a 10! I’ve been here twice or thrice(not sure) but if I ever visit Coleraine again, I will come here for a meal!

Amazing for a takeout, I ate inside once but far too busy for my liking, not exactly where you'd want to go to unwind and relax but guess I'm getting old! Probably okay if you are in your twenties! Food is great though so a Yoko takeaway with bottle of wine and chilling in the sofa definitely rings my bell on a Saturday evening.

The food was amazing, the service when taking our order was very good, but 4 times throughout our meal a guy came towards us as if to move us on, and we were still eating. I set my fork down he came "over are you finished", I said no the table was still full with food. A girl then came over and asked if we were finished, we decided to take the rest home in a takeaway away box, due to feeling uncomfortable. The restaurant was empty apart from 1 other table. We go every year as the food is amazing, I would highly recommend it.

Food lovely however my husband ordered his without onions it came full of onions sent it back was out again within 2 minutes so obviously not remade just picked the onions out as was stated he had an allergy like. Had to ask for kids desserts 3 times and place was r even busy went up to pay realised gin was on bill that they didn’t have waited a while to pay lady asked Barman to make sure I didn’t have a different sort of gin instead didn’t believe me before taking it off the bill server was very bad. They didn’t even ask how good or service was as I say food good staff a disgrace it’s a pity to say I won’t be back as I say food was so good

Came here for a meal on my own after watching a film and was very impressed! I was seated quickly, service was just as swift, which tasted and as looked fantastic as the venue. The whole experience was high quality,seamless, relaxing and filled me up. As a visitor to Coleraine, I'm pleased I took up the recommendation of a colleague that lives here.

I booked this for my mums 60th not one mention of it and I couldn't get the chance to say to someone without here knowing so wee left with not As much as a happy birthday I do understand the staff were very under stress as the place was packed but it was a big day for us as a family also my chicken curry the chicken was cold in middle everything else was all good

Food was stunning we shared the Asian platter as our starter plenty between two sharing because the main courses were huge portions. beef and black bean and also the curry for mains, the beef just melted in your mouth. Couldn’t finish it because we knew we wanted room for dessert they give you containers to take anything left over home. Desserts we had banoffee and also the deep fried ice cream. Every course was stunning. The service made the meal tho! We were served by a young fella Dylan his service was on point from start to finish, he was so lovely and attentive from the second we sat down there was no awkward wait between courses he was on point with making sure we had everything he just appeared at the right times when needed but we still had the privacy of a private meal.

Went into Yoko restaurant at the Jet Centre Coleraine for bite to eat, Our waitress Sarah was a polite and friendly lady and Nicole who brought our food out was amazing, would recommend the chicken curry and salt&chilli chips superb, definitely go back again the portions was huge had to get takeaway box to bring home! 10/10 would recommend to go and try!

Quite a din about the place, so had to strain to hear the conversation. I had gyozas which were fine, but have had them more flavoursome elsewhere. The sizzling chicken was was ok but nothing special. I think I should have stuck to ordering a more oriental dish for my main. Didn't try any desserts.

We've been to Yoko now a few times. It's really tasty Asian fusion style food. Large portions of fresh crunchy vegetable. Lots of choices for vegetarians. I had vegetarian black bean dish, very tasty. Soft noodles as Salt and chilli chips are SO good. I noticed they have reduced the size of their menu which isn't a bad thing as it was quite huge previously. Rice dishes are super tasty, as are the soft noodles. Desserts are amazing, so delicious, leave room! It's a hidden gem in the Jet Centre. Booking at the weekend is advisable.

Got there with four other people. Had to wait for ages for table which was already booked. Then put round a table where there wasn't enough room for all the food and drinks. And I left nearly all my food as chicken was so tough the knife wouldn't enough let me cut it and tried to chew it but couldn't. And trying to get hold of a member of staff was unbelievable. There only seemed to be about 3 serving and taking orders and serving drinks and when you put your hand up or where saying excuse me they either pretended they didn't see or hear.. Either really understaffed or untrained. One of them actually broke a glass when picking it up from table. Definitely went downhill big big time. Won't be back

I was skeptical since the restaurant is in a big amusement center. Putt putt and kids games right outside the door. But the food was excellent, big portions and great flavors. Service was great. Best meal I had in the North Coast.

The food is gorgeous. Me and the partner get very different meals. I order the Cantonese style duck and stir fry seasonal green, whilst they order the more typical steak dish. Food is always lovely, compliments to the chefs working behind the scenes. The staff are very good. Only issue I have!! But this is with all restaurants, the price is getting ridiculous.

A first visit to Yoko the service was excellent and the food was delicious recommend the chicken with orange and pineapple sauce and salmon. Will definitely be back.

Ate at Yoko's Friday evening, 4 friends n myself. Food was lovely, and plenty of it. I ordered a large coke, and when the waiter came to clear the table, he knocked this drink over, spilling it into my hand bag, soaking all the contents, my drivers licence, purse and glasses. The food is still delicious but they have condensed the menu, removing our favourite dishes. Also had to ask for our cocktails 4 times. Everyone had finished by the time it arrived.

Went to Yoko for the first time on Saturday night, the service and food were amazing. I had the nicest seafood curry I’ve ever eaten. I honestly can’t say enough about this dish, it was outstanding and full of tiger prawns, monkfish, calamari and muscles (all cooked to perfection). My partners Thai chicken curry was every bit as good, you will not leave here hungry. The staff were very knowledgeable and attentive. A first class dining experience from start to finish, we will definitely be back.

The staff were so good and the food was lovely. We just happened to choose a busy time, when it was very noisy. That said, we arrived, without a booking, and we were accommodated beautifully. Well done everyone!

First class food and service! Only negative was that the light above the area we were sitting in needed a new bulb and left our table poorly lit. Easily sorted though! Thank you for a super dining experience and we hope to return soon!

Food was Excellent as usual but 5 of us were squeezed in to a table for 4, the the 5th person being a large adult. There was not enough room for the dishes. Food came initially very quickly but 1 of the dishes a good 10 minutes later. Another came but we waited a good 15 minutes for the side order. Then had to ask for a plate and cutlery. We also had ordered an extra portion of soft noodles but we had to ask twice for it, eventually coming a good 30 minutes in to our meal. First time ever this has happened and I wouldn’t let it put me off from returning as food is always Excellent and staff so good. Just being honest. Nachos were amazing as were the vegetable Fajitas.

Placed an order for takeout, we were told the order which was not a big order would take 2hrs. After arriving we had to wait an extra 45min. On top of this our order was not 100% correct. We have eaten here many times but unfortunately on this occasion our experience was not a positive one. I would suggest avoiding busy times/weekends.

Highly disappointed in visit last night. Tables very close together that if server was taking an order or delivering food to next table their rear was almost in your food. Not server's fault but management trying to push so many customers in. My starter of chicken satay had very little sauce and was tasteless. The wife's mushrooms were beautiful and tasty. My mixed grill was dry dry dry. Says comes with crispy potato which I took to be a side. It was in fact a dip dish with like mini chip crisps in it but smaller. Wasn't touched as couldn't lift them with a fork. The steak was tough and after two bites was left. The sausage was worst I've ever tasted. Won't ever have it again if we do go back. The side for the wife was forgot about and had to be asked for. The staff were over worked and making mistakes due to the amount of people being squashed in. Used to be our favourite but not anymore

Family of 6 out for a birthday meal. Staff were very attentive and remembered that I’d asked for something special for my husbands birthday, portion sizes were excellent and we were able to take home what we couldn’t finish. Perfect stop before a movie. Will be visiting again.

The service was very unsatisfactory. Our table was booked for 7.30 but we weren’t eating our main course until 9. Luckily enough our food was delicious.

I had Rebecca serve me and they were awful. They didn’t know any of the drinks, anything about the food and wasn’t able to advise the table next to us about food without allergens. Drinks weren't brought and over all bad service. Food is amazing as always. Over all give your chefs a raise but train your staff.

First time in Yoko. The experience was pleasant. Food was very good and flavoursome. Sadly, our food was not very hot so it disappointed us somewhat.

Been here a few times and every time it is delicious! Never had a bad feed yet, something to suit everyone, and the portions are big enough to share if your kids decide they want what you're having

Great food and full of flavour, I particularly really enjoyed the sticky Thai rice with the coconut chicken. Amazing decorative atmosphere too with an extensive menu to suit tastes of all kinds! The meals came out quickly and staff are helpful and friendly too

Food is always amazing, never delayed or cold, always delicious and warm. The only thing was there was a few new members of waiting staff working and our order was mixed up, but it was quickly rectified, not a big thing and Snr staff were very accommodating and understanding of that happened

Recently visited for an Anniversay meal with my wife. The restaurant very busy and because of this we had to wait on our second course for quite a while. After we asked about it, it came quite quickly which gave us very little time to eat it as we had booked a cinema time. My wife went to pay for the cinema tickets and I paid the bill. She asked me what the bill was and when I told her she said we had been overcharged So I returned to the restaurant and queried the bill and found out I had been overcharged by £54 which was refunded to my card. This is not the kind of experience that we normally have as Yoko is one of our favourite places to eat

We had a table of 12 for my Daughters 9th Birthday! The staff was amazing and really made it a comfortable experience! The food was delicious and we couldn't fault it will definitely be back.

Booked a table for an evening meal to celebrate my retirement for 4 adults. Order quickly taken after we browsed through the extensive menu. Meal quickly arrived and we all enjoyed our choices completely. Would highly recommend a visit!

Would highly recommend Yoko's. First time there 10/12/23. We had 3 different dishes and all 3 were quality. We left full and contented. Will be back for definate. Quality and price point spot on.

Best meal of our 2 week roadtrip! Highly recommend the chili chicken noodle soup. Portion size is generous, it’s not too spicy but still has a ton of flavour.

I had booked a table a week in advance for 6 of us to celebrate my daughters birthday, when we arrived we were told out table wasn’t ready and to take a seat, we could see the staff trying to figure out where to put us, after almost 15 minutes they shuffled a few tables and we were finally seated. After another 15 minutes while we watched other people being served who came in after us even after I tried to get the staffs attention, we left and will not be back

I had a table booked for 6 people, this table was booked 3 days in advance online for a child's Birthday treat. We arrived at the time of our reservation and we were told to sit and wait. I could see a couple of the girls working there trying to figure out where they were going to seat us, they then proceeded to lift a table and carry it to place it at the entrance, I asked if we could be seated somewhere more suitable as the table was squeezed in an area that was a walk way, the girl doing this who I assume was the manager just walked away, after 5 more minutes they then came back over and said they did not know where they where going to seat us. I stated that we had pre booked this table and at the time of booking I had advised it was for a birthday, the girl then said that they just make the tables up as people come in. There was quite a few tables free at this point so I suggested a table that people had just left which had 8 seats. The girl then advised that it was pre booked for someone else, which didn't make much sense as she had literally just told me that they didn't have a table for us which was pre booked in advance? Absolutely apauled by the service, have been to yokos loads of times and had a great experience and food, we travel quiet a bit to get here but after today I doubt we will be back. One very upset child

Been years since I last visited Yoko, and back then it wasn't in the Jet Centre. The restaurant is very clean and nicely laid out, with comfortable seating and a decent amount of room. Staff were attentive and helpful and the menu was unbelievable -- such a diverse array of options (of the Asian fusion variety). Every course was delicious and I honestly felt it was great value for money as each member of our dinner party had a few cocktails as well. Wouldn't hesitate to return to reccomend it to other friends/family.

Called in for lunch. I had very average noodles, they were meant to be fried but were clearly just boiled. Vegetarian menu was ok but not great choices. Husband had fried rice which was served in a not very clean barrel like thing. Wasn't impressed. Wouldn't go out of my way to go, but if in and around the jet centre I'd call in. Prices not terrible. Atmosphere strange - piano / classical music and in the middle of the jet centre chaos, was a little strange.

Yoko is located inside the Jet Centre, it is very spacious with ample seating for everyone, however booking ahead is well advised as it's always busy the menu is fabulous and has a great variety of food on it, the staff are extremely welcoming and very friendly also extremely efficient given the amount of people who want to go there..it is good value for money with very generous portions of you are celebrating a birthday you will not be forgotten as I found out upon my visit

Received a carryout tonight food was atrocious, kids minute steak was an extra small portion,steak was fatty and full of grisle. Chicken hotpot had minimal chicken, little or no ginger/garlic. Sauce was bland,tofu in dish wasn't listed as an ingredient!

Yoko is a fab restaurant for families and date night, the food and drinks come out fast and have a wide selection available. The duck and pancakes is a great starter to share. The portions are generous with the meat. One down side to this restaurant is once you have ordered your mains you are nearly forgotten about. After we had our mains we were asked if we wanted to see a desert menu. We said yes, aftwr about 20 mins no menu arrived and another waitress told us we had to leave as someone else needed our table. We told her that we were waiting on the desert menu but left anyway as this was off putting

Food is out of this world, duck is so succulent yet so crispy perfectly cooked. I would advise to book in advance, we came on a Wednesday evening and found it to be very busy.

Got from Yoko this week. Honestly the price is higher than a takeaway would be in Belfast and you would expect Belfast to be more expensive. I got honey chilli chicken with fried rice and a salt and chilli chip. It came to over £18.00. At our local we could get 2 meals for £12.00. Also the honey chilli chicken lacked flavour for me, it tasted more like a sugar sauce then a honey chilli. I wouldn't be rushing back
